Marlou (5/5): Only plus is location - Communication was very poor—I was given the wrong code to enter and ended up waiting outside in the dark. The room is part of a community complex, which is hard to find at night and outside of the room it’s not very clean. This property would honestly be more suited to Airbnb. Personally, I’d rather spend a bit more for a proper hotel in the same area. There were also payment issues: it wasn’t clear that I needed to transfer the payment via WeChat or Alipay until after I had checked out. The owner did offer a discount due to the communication issues, which was fair. The only real plus is the location.
