• CATHERINE (9/5): Yanakie gem - We stayed at the Luxe House at the Wamoon Retreat. It was well appointed with a modern kitchen, bathroom and living spaces. It is located in a quiet part of Yanakie but close enough to the general store and the local pizza restaurant. The hosts were lovely and the location makes all the good hiking spots in and around Wilson's Prom easily accessible. Highly recommend The walls are thinner than we are used to so we could hear our neighbours who, fortunately, were not noisy.

• Olga (9/5): - We really liked this place for its well-equipped kitchen, which had everything needed for cooking. There were two comfortable bedrooms, a beautifully decorated interior, and a wonderful view from the terrace. There was also an electric grill available. We didn’t really like that the place was listed as a house. Unfortunately, it is not a standalone house but a townhouse, with neighbors on both the left and right sides. Sadly, the sound insulation near the bedroom was very poor, and we could hear almost everything that was happening next door. Also, in general, a second bathroom was missing.

Having some board games available for the kids to play was great. The kitchen is exceptionally well-equipped, so making dinner was easy. We slept well in the comfortable beds, and the shower was lovely and hot. It was too wet to sit outside and have my morning coffee, but I enjoyed the spectacular views from inside the house instead. Simply wonderful.

As comfortable as home with touch of luxury. So in love with the open mountain view deck. I wish one of the bed is bigger for a couple :). However this is still great.

Very comfortable and well supplied with everything that you need. Hosts were attentive. Toilet seat is broken, moves about and isn’t the correct seat for that toilet. The towel rack is placed in an area near the door that both of us smashed our elbows into, so a bit dangerous.

Shining wine glasses are perfect for a drink with friends when we enjoyed the picturesque view on the terrace and symphony played by those animals around such as birds cows sheep etc. Will definitely stay here on our next visit. none

• Ellen (10/5): Will definitely be back! - You couldn’t ask for a better place to stay while visiting Wilson’s prom. It is perfectly located right next to the entrance of the national park. We were made very welcome on arrival with the personalised note and bottle of Prosecco. The house is equipped with everything you need to make it an enjoyable, relaxing experience. We loved the bbq and decking area outside as it had beautiful views looking out at the scenery. The owners of the property were very helpful and responsive making the check in process very smooth. Will definitely be back to stay in this property , it exceeded our expectations.

Lovely little touches to the place too for our arrival, even a sweet little activity bag for our toddler. Comfy beds, gorgeous bathroom. Location was amazing for the Prom. Only one roll of toilet paper. Code to to lock box in email from the host differed to that sent by a booking.com. Email wasn’t received until after we checked in so luckily the booking code let us in or we wouldn’t have been able to get in.
