- Moeller (5/5): Pleasant people, but not especially clean or updated property - Very mixed feelings here: I needed to check in after midnight and they were very accommodating!! They had a site manager stay up to let me in and show me around. Everyone on the property was super welcoming and I felt pretty comfortable around them, even though there were only one or two other women that I saw. As a single female traveling predominantly on my own, it's important to me that the guys around me are respectful and I didn't have any issues here. Also, for the price I paid (first-time discount) ... I've literally paid more for a shower at Love's. I always ALWAYS check mattresses - even if I'm staying at the Marriott - and the mattress I was assigned to was not something I felt comfortable sleeping on. I'm sure they would have moved me if possible, but it was 2 am after I got cleaned up and everyone had gone to bed. I ended up leaving early in the morning and staying elsewhere. But again - for the price I paid, you really can't be picky. I just couldn't do it.

- Soares Prudencio (1/5): Horrible - It was a horrible experience, I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone. The room was extremely bad. They didn’t even give me the room keys, and the door wouldn’t close properly. All my valuables were left in a room outside the main building.
The bed was hard, and the blankets and bedding were damp when we arrived. There was no toilet paper in the bathrooms. Simply terrible. We asked for a refund and never saw our money again. They don’t respond to my emails or calls. They didn’t even return the $40 deposit.
I paid a significant amount for 8 nights and only stayed 1, they kept the rest of the money. Awful.

- Hector (1/5): They scam you out of your deposit - Slightly better than a homeless shelter. Bathrooms were surprisingly clean when I was there. How can one start... This is a modern flophouse/transitional housing for the downtrodden or mega cheapstakes like me at the moment. At $10 a bunkbed, I can see the appeal. I chose a private room for $40 a night, thinking I'd avoid the insanity of these "hostels" in California. I've stayed in flop motels and hostels all over the world, but this place is really one of the worst.
#1 issue: THEY DO NOT GIVE BACK YOUR DEPOSIT!!! (EDIT: they finally gave it back after 3 days of nagging them on the phone. They asked me to edit, and I will respect this) I don't care how dirty and roach-filled the place is. At least be honest about money. It is a scam, and they have a handful of other ones in the LA area. tried to contact them after 3 weeks. They asked for the confirmation number and a screenshot of my payment, which I luckily still had, yet they did not issue it. They also have hidden fees for rebooking.
Other issues:
- The rooms look and smell disgusting. Nothing like the pictures. Roaches and homeless cigarette smell abound. Had to bring in my own blanket and pillow.
- Wifi does not work in the rooms
- Paper-thin walls with people crying and arguing at night
- Flies are everywhere outside because the trash is spilling around the area. Cannot open windows. Flies were inside the room, and I was scared to even touch the curtain.
- Cannot check in until 5 pm, and it takes a ridiculous amount of time due to incompetent staff.
- Front doors are never locked, so ANYONE can just walk in and out, and nobody would notice.
- Bathrooms don't have soap or paper towels. No toilet paper in the stalls. There was a dusty roll on the floor of my room.
You really get what you pay for with this. If they gave the deposit back right away, there wouldn't be much of a problem with the price.

An even getting there on the check in date they come to tell me sorry but we can not let you stay cause it's to full an they couldn't return my money to go thru booking.com but still went ahead an complete the process of the booking still an I didn't even enjoy the stay cause it was to full . Never giving me a notification are contacting me via email, text, phone call no type of communication at all . So ill leave it there.

- Frank Jeuring (1/5): Terrible - Nothing at all I booked the accommodation some time ago as i like to travel well organized and planned. Looking at the photos in the listing i expected a well taken care of accommodation, as one may expect from a listing on Booking.com. Upon arrival somewhere between 8PM and 9PM, the front door wouldn't open, the lady who worked a shift at the accommodation just looked at us while standing inside busy talking to others guests, not offering any help at all as we already stood there for about 10 minutes, only to be let in by another guest randomly walking in after getting himself some food from somewhere across the street. Once inside we were kindly greeted and checked in by signing a bunch of digital signatures and were told to pay 40 bucks security deposit, which i would have liked knowing about before arriving since i didn't have any cash as i expected to be able to pay using my card.
After agreeing to get some cash somewhere in Von Nuys at a local ATM, we were told our room was not available and the guy working there had to actually manually check every room to see what room we could get. Once he found a room that "matched" the one we paid for we were told to wait as the staf prepared the room for our stay.
After almost spending one hour in the weird crowded and messy lobby, we were finally told our room was ready and could follow the staff to check out our room. Following the staff member led us through a dark and dirty hallway arriving at room number 2.
Once opening the door we were greeted by a deteriorated funny smelling room with nothing in it other than a bed that was too small for 2 persons and visible only had one pillow as there were no other pillows available. The staff told us the pillows and sheets were unavailable as they were all being washed at the moment. The room had a opened window behind the bed with a slightly small and oddly positioned curtain on a horizontal stick.

G- line metro bus to NoHo subway station and 761 to Santa Monica are in walking distance. Not far from the Hollywood- Burbank Airport.
Very safe place- police station is across the street.
Management team is really very kind, friendly and helpful.

Everyone is like a family and I was comfortable . I will definitely stay again . This is worth booking especially if you’re in need . I honestly don’t have anything to say about what I didn’t like . Overall my trip went well and everyone in the house was cool. I initially booked by accident the men’s room . When I got there they were like def not let’s get you in the women’s .

- Isabel (1/5): - The owner of the property did transfer me to a different location and used my payment on that property for the same 3 days I originally paid for. They need new house managers I didn't like a single thing about it since the second I walked it. Then 3 people me included...were waiting for the house manager to check us in but he was asleep until someone woke him up. Then when I asked for a bottom bunk...he asked me to sign the contract. I told him I'm not signing because there's no bottom bunks available for me. I was unable to walk or climb do to a procedure I needed to get done a few days prior. One of the other lady's that was checking in...was being yelled at by the same person. He had a very bad attitude with the both of us. The whole 20 minutes I was there waiting and dealing with the house manager...there was a guest walking around the house yelling out "you going to jail". Kids were not being watched by there parents and just running around the house and being loud. Very uncomfortable feeling there so I got moved to a way better location.
- Lula (1/5): - Staff was rude unorganized and terrible customers service forced me to leave with my service dog after already informing them prior to stay that animal was coming. Had me moved to a different a different facility 4 hours away traveling just to have the same problems and the new facility was unsanitary unclean and uncomfortable. Staff manager was very rude left us outside for an hour claiming to not know we were coming also gave major problems regarding service dog when we were sent there for I was away because of the service dog also we tried to ask if we could get a discount because of the inconvenience we received and they agreed to the inconvenience but then told us the service dog was no longer welcome after we had already stayed there for two days and there were other animals on the property that were not even service animals. Some of the staff was very nice and helpful the housekeeper was very nice and helpful and some of the other guests there were very kind and polite but the manager was not and made it very hard for us to feel comfortable even gave us dirty sheets to lay on claiming he did not know that we were arriving when it was scheduled for us to arrive the day before. Very unorganized and nothing like the picture.
