• Katherine (8/5): Although the apartment was fine, we would not have rented it if we had known that it was a basement apartment and what t - The apartment looked fairly new so it was clean and in good condition. The host was responsive when we needed to contact him for additional information (eg wifi connection). The entry to the apartment is in the back of the house. It is accessed down a set of stairs (it is a basement apartment). The entry looked pretty sketchy with garbage and dirt in back yard and in the stairwell.
• Valerie (9/5): - Good location. The apartment had everything you could possibly want for a comfortable stay, plus many extras such as oil and spices for cooking. All utensils and crockery were spotlessly clean and the kitchen appliances were of good quality. We would recommend it. Entrance steps need to be more inviting. Noise overhead from family above but quiet during bedtime hours so not an issue for us.

• Diane (9/5): - What a find! I loved this spot. It met my needs perfectly, and only wish I had found it ages ago! Spotless, well equipped, comfortable.. It had everything I wanted or needed I will definitely be back the next time I need a spot in London. It would be great if there was something between blackout curtains and nothing on the bedroom window.Maybe a roller blind that could provide some privacy but also let in some light.

• mark (7/5): Good budget location. - Location. Didn’t like having street parking. I most likely would not have booked if I had known. It would be nice to have temperature controls in the unit. Found it on the cold side. Landlord did turn up the heat when asked. Noise level from upstairs was loud at times. Could hear voices and a child running around.
• paul (8/5): 38 Miles St. basement apartment - The apt was quite comfortable, bright and very clean, well stocked and in an excellent location. Parking was an issue, day parking limited to 2 hours as posted on road signs. We found that there was no shelving such as a dresser for clothing in the bedroom. No handle on right cupboard door under sink. Some linens were found in the washer and dryer upon arrival. Most of these are minor issues which can easily be rectified

• Patty (10/5): Stayed for 2 nights. Could do our own thing - It was so nice just to have our own little spot as opposed to a hotel room It was a cute,well appointed spot
• Ann (8/5): This was a very cosy and comfortable clean unit. We found it extremely convenient for our purposes. - It was close to Saint Joseph’s Hospital in London. It was very well equipped and clean. It was modern but still cozy. The host was responsive when we had a question regarding the door code. We didn’t receive the information about the on street parking prior to our arrival. We didn’t realize it was the lower level unit until we contacted the host. On street parking could’ve been a problem if there had been heavy snowfall overnight.
• Henry (1/5): Have I been Scammed? - We did not stay here as planned because the place had been doubled booked through Booking.com. Unfortunately we found out last minute. Needless to say, we were disappointed and had to scramble to find another place so we could attend our family Christmas Party in London Ontario. My husband and I did not stay at this place as planned. I am now waiting to find out how I will get reimbursement for our payment since the place was double booked through Booking.com. We are also wondering how long it will take for the reimbursement since the transaction was done through Booking.com Derek (owner of place) shared that this has never has happened and is researching how to return the payment. We were disappointed, needless to say, since we found out at the last minute and had to scramble to find another place in London Ontario for our Family Christmas party.

Safe neighborhood and loved seeing all the dog walkers-great to know for future stays. Homes in the neighborhood are charming. We will definitely return!

• Lone (6/5): Average experience. - Newer renovations and clean. Basement. Sleeping sofa uncomfortable. Instructions promised Netflix and other apps that were not available. Expensive Cleaning fee only disclosed just before payment, could have been up front. Subsequently, Booking.com warned more fee could be added - not good business policy - the consumer is left hanging in uncertainty.
