Guest Reviews
- Gregory (1/5): Appalling. Never to be used again - I was not told of the key code for lock box. The landlord said he knew nothing about it and would call me back but didnt. This was in contract with the letting agents (number not in the system, found elsewhere) who said that he would need to check with the landlord about this issue. Those agents then sent every subsequent call to voicemail. I did not get to stay in the property and had to fork out for a hotel (at almost £300). It was dreadful. No access to the property at all.
Rude landlord.
Uncooperative letting agents.
I question the validity of the offer as the property was being advertised on booking.com that very evening.
- Rebecca (1/5): Left a woman on her own in a vulnerable position. - Nothing as my "host" didn't return calls when I needed to get into the property and had no access to the security box. When I did speak with them initially they kept promising to call me back with the code but they never did. They cancelled my stay with no warning, at 7pm, and only after Booking.com had to chase them on my behalf for not responding to me. As a woman travelling on her own, to ignore calls and then announce at 7pm after I have been hanging around on the street for hours waiting to get in is not only disgusting customer service, but also left me in an incredibly vulnerable and potentially unsafe position. As I was, I couldn't get anywhere else to stay for that budget in London so ended up having to travel back north that same evening, getting home at 2am.
Do NOT book this accommodation. They are rude, unhelpful and unscrupulous. Avoid this property at all costs. See my comments above for the reasons why and thank me later. This is customer service at its very worst.
