- Olga (1/5): Dishonest landlord and unfavorable unit conditions. - Can’t think of anything that we liked. We did not end up staying in it after we checked in and realized that the property listing on booking is not fully transparent. Let me start by saying what was NOT listed:
1. The property has steep stairs going down into the basement where both bedrooms are located. The bathroom and kitchen are upstairs. The stairs are very steep and for anyone with knee problems or with smaller children this was NOT a disclosed fact anywhere in the listing description or pictures.
2. The property’s both bedrooms are in the basement that was never properly converted to be sleeping places. Be prepared for a nasty basement smell coming from closets where walls and ceilings are basement exposed and smell like moisture, mildew, and damp mop. I looked inside and nearly puked from disgust much less being able to sleep in those bedrooms.
3. The unit has not been cleaned from previous tenants and multiple used supplies were left in drawers of bathrooms and kitchen.
4. The bathroom and toilet room are so cold, no matter how long your heater has been on, it’s simply impossible to take a nice warming bath. Tiled floor is so cold, you have no choice but walking inside in shoes! Lights in both rooms turn on with a string you have to pull from the ceiling.
5. The unit is adjacent to the pub!!! It was loud as hell inside of the unit as if everyone sitting right outside of the front door and inside of the pub was sitting in the living room! If you have smaller children or students (like was our case!) beware that you’ll hear laughing, screaming, loud talking and music for a good chunk of the evening going into the night until the pub closes down.
6. To make the matters worse, there is no direct number to speak to the landlord or management. The line is answered by the receptionist who takes the message for the management to get back to you. I never stayed there, MOT EVEN FOR ONE NIGNT AND LET THEM KNOW HOW I FEEL ABOUT THE CONCEIVING LISTING AND YET DID NOT RECEIVE MY MONEY BACK! Not even an apology! DO NOT RECOMMEND

the two bed room are big and the beds are comfortable. The kitchen is well equipped and the flat was clean. The owner response fast when I text him. everything was well
