• Pamela (10/5): Location! good communication! great value - It had everything I needed and the bed and pillows were very comfortable. I appreciated having a refrigerator. The location was amazing and being inside the wall city can be tricky with luggage, but Peter was very helpful in handling that for me. He actually went out of his way to accommodate me because I needed to add an additional night on the front end of my booking. I originally booked the cozy rooms that were outside the pile gate. I was avoiding being inside the walled city due to concerns about dragging my luggage. He knew I needed two nights and was trying to keep it in the same location for both nights so he switched me to the interior location and helped me with my bags. Fun fact, as you can see from my photos, you can walk the walls of the city and look down to the street and see the apartment which was on the first floor. It’s the one that has the little white table with two chairs on the left. Really can’t beat the location. It was so quiet and cozy. (Had A/C which bet is helpful in the summer) If I had to critique anything, it would just be a request for better towels. The quantity was good just the quality seemed a little worn out. The linens were good.

No street sign or street appeal but the studio apartment made up for all that. Very friendly and I living staff. I would stay here again for sure. Nothing really. • Alina (9/5): - It was a good experience with the owner, he always asked if everything was okay, and on the last day even let us leave the luggage at the apartment site, before we went to the airport. If I ever get to be in Dubrovnik, that's the place I would book again for sure!

The location is amazing, very close to Pile Gate and the beach. There is a bakery and sandwich shop a few doors down. The tv didn’t work.

• Caroll (8/5): If you need a place to simply sleep and shower close to Pile Gate, this room will suffice. - The room is a bit small, but provides the basic needs of a bed and bathroom/shower. Plenty of hot water to shower. A little noise outside in the evening as the building is on the main road. I was able to arrange an airport pickup for a nominal fee with the owner, Peter. It’s a standard, no-frills property that gets the basics right. No tea kettle or small refrigerator in room.

He came to meet me and was very helpful with suggestions of the area. Surely one of the best values in Dubrovnik. - The location can't be beat. 1 minute from Pile Gate, the fort, and general tourist information. Awesome value for such a prime location. Feels very safe as well. Room has no frills, but had all the things we needed; wifi was strong and reliable! The host, Peter, was great. Very responsive, and quick to reply. He got me a parking spot for my car at walking distance at a discount price and drove me and family to the apartment.

La stanza molto al di sotto delle aspettative, piccola con armadio e tavolinetto del tutto inadeguati. TELEVISORE non funzionante e così è rimasto per tutta la durata del nostro soggiorno, nonostante i nostri numerosi solleciti, ai quali non si sono neppure degnati di rispondere. Molte delle condizioni decantate nell'arredamento della stanza sono risultate del tutto inesistenti: divano, terrazza panoramica, accappatoi, vasca da bagno con idromassaggio, pantofole, ecc. Abbiamo sempre prenotato i nostri soggiorni tramite voi, e le aspettative sono sempre state soddisfacenti o addirittura superiori. E' la prima volta che siamo rimasti insoddisfatti, tranne che per la dislocazione.

Simple, clean and adequate room When I checked in they were unable to connect me to wifi. The person checking me in did not know the network name or the password. I needed to make some business Zoom calls later that day and was somewhat worried aobut this. I walked to the old town and joined the Dubrovnik Free wifi. I then I reached out to the owner, Peter via whatsApp - as he had originally contacted me on whatsApp,- to ask if he could please let me know the wifi as I had some zoom calls later that day. I was polite and respectful He got really annoyed that I was reaching out to him He said... "With all respect I am not your secretary" I explained again that I just needed the wifi information which he then sent all in Croatian, meaning I was not sure what it was. I eventually worked it out. his communication style was rather direct, and unnecessarily combative. I live in Asia, and I can imagine many Asians would find this kind of response REALLY uncomfortable and unnecessary In the end, I just put it down to Peter having a bad day... Lets hope that is all it was.

Till att börja med så tycker jag att ägaren är väldigt inriktad att enbart tjäna pengar, det första jag blev erbjuden var en taxi för 15 euro till bostaden från busstationen. Jag hittade uber för 6 euro. Sen fick jag blöta handdukar vilket verkar standard för det här boende, ägaren tycker inte det är nåt konstigt med det. På kvällen upptäckte jag att det finns bara ett täcke, när jag hörde av mig till ägaren fick jag leta bland smutsiga täcke och dessutom var lakan också blöt. Ägaren hade lagt en på påse med fuktiga lakan. Det är det minsta man förväntar sig att det ska finnas. Inte nog med så hade ägaren mage att be om skatt 5,3 euro. Jag valde att inte betala i protest eftersom det var så dåligt. Ägaren känns väldigt trött på turister och orkar inte riktigt anstränga sig för att göra det bra. Det är värt att lägga lite extra pengar för annat boende tycker jag. Den är billigast i gamla stan och det förklarar också varför när man har varit där.

The single bed was a little pull down chair. The room was too small when it was set up. There was no correct bedding for it. The expectation was for two of us to sleep in one bed and I had to explain the site advertised the room with two beds. TV had no signal and wires appeared disconnected. The room would suit couples or solo travellers.
• Sergei (5/5): Ok stay - Great location, and manager was nice that I had late checkout I had to pay 3 euro tax with cash, and for this I had to disrupt my holiday and meet the host later in the day. It was either that or install another app to pay it. But it was inconvenient to even think about it and arrange/plan to pay those silly 3 euros. Also, the manager got upset that I didnt give him a review and called me rude. So it was not the best experience all in all and I will probably find another place next time

• Olga (9/5): Душевные апартаменты в старом городе - Отличные просторные апартаменты в старом городе, большая кровать, все необходимое. Есть чайник, посуда, удобный небольшой диван. Потрясающий владелец и его доброжелательный помощник, который помог донести вещи до квартиры от ворот в город. Рядом есть супермаркет, много кафе и баров. Прекрасный опыт, рекомендую! Расположение розеток, прохладно ( есть кондиционер для обогрева) и мало света, нужен небольшой ремонт душевой лейки и кабинки. Слышимость соседей. С учетом цены и расположения на 1-2 ночи отличный вариант.

Lots of restaurants, cafes, bars, etc right near the apartment. The wi-fi was solid. The room itself is simple, but good, clean, and comfortable! Regarding the service - Peter went above and beyond. He’s very communicative and will respond to you within minutes, picked us up from airport, gave recommendations, let us leave our luggage after check in, and was enjoyable to talk to. Nothing negative to say, except you’re in a busy area, so there will be noise at night, but that didn’t bother us.

• Richard (9/5): - Cozy Rooms was perfect for my short trip to Dubrovnik. The location was ideal, just a five-minute walk to the Old City walls and directly opposite the Hilton so easy to find. The room was clean, air-conditioned and a comfortable place to unwind after exploring. The service was warm and welcoming and on my final day, I really appreciated being able to leave my luggage in the building and getting a lift to the airport. A hassle-free stay.
• Sylke (7/5): Kleines Apartment - gut für eine Nacht - Das Appartement ist zentral gelegen, nur ein paar hundert Meter von der alten Stadtfestung entfernt, was natürlich super! Ist - und von daher erfüllt es auch schon mal seinen Zweck. Es ist sauber, der Vermieter ist sehr nett - und da es mitten im Zentrum liegt, ist es von der Lautstärke her sogar überraschend angenehm. Alles in allem ist das Appartement zu empfehlen. Das Preis / Leistungsverhältnis ist grenzwertig, für die Größe und Ausstattung ist der Raum echt überteuert - aber naja, Dubrovnik ist in den Sommerferien einfach von Touris übersäht - und von daher funktioniert das Konzept.

• E-caño2310 (4/5): Mala experiencia, alojamiento algo ruinoso - La ubicación era excepcional, justo al lado del Old Town de Dubrovnik que es la parte esencial de la ciudad El anuncio incluía en la descripción elementos de cocina, cuando lo único que tuvimos en la habitación es una tetera y vasos sucios. Estaba sucia... Sábanas, cortinas y toallas tenían manchas, y el baño se notaba que no se había limpiado a fondo. A mencionar además que las sábanas eran para camas individuales, no para dobles (no cubríamos los pies!).El extractor hacía bastante ruido (estaba en las últimas). Tampoco nos gustó que las llaves de acceso al edificio estaban al alcance de cualquier persona en la calle, deja mucho que desear sobre la seguridad. Adicionalmente, ofrecían un servicio de parking a 7 minutos a un precio de 32 euros. A última hora nos enviaron una dirección para el parking distinta a 10 minutos supuestamente (en google indicaba 17 y en cuesta). No nos dió buena sensación ya que parecía el parking de un concesionario, así que buscamos finalmente por nuestra cuenta, y al ser temporada baja encontramos uno por 24 euros algo más cerca.

Also - The property was very clean, and it was in a good location everything was close and at reach. The property was very quiet and we felt very safe! • Hana (10/5): Ugodno i praktično - Ljubaznost, usluga, gostoprimstvo i položaj. Smještaj je udoban i ugodan. Sve ima što treba za prenoćiti i također sve je mirno i ugodno.
• Martyna (10/5): - It’s 5 min walk from the city gate but still accessible by car. There is a bakery just next to it. There is no kitchen but kettle. WiFi is good.
