• Khunsathy (2/5): Very poor cleaning and hygiene! - Location as it is just 5 minutes walking to the subway station and bus to access to the city. Very poor hygiene. Very first time we experienced the most dirty bathroom and toilet (many yellow stain inside toilet bowl, sink, bathtub and corner of floor in the bathroom. Kitchen is so so. I dared not to use toilet at the house. I tried to use toilet at shopping mall outside before coming back to the room just for bed time at night. One refrigerator is very smelly.
• Andrei (8/5): it was convenient and comfortable on the whole, some work to do but definitely worth it for the price. - the rooms are massive, clean, well presented, and nice to be in. the kitchen and bathrooms weren’t particularly clean, relying mostly on the cleanliness of other guests. in addition, we were without toilet roll for nearly 3 days.

If I were a woman traveling alone, I probably wouldn’t feel comfortable in this area, especially since it's quite noisy. Overall, I think the price is too high for what you get. • lerma (10/5): 21 nights at Tooting Bec - We spent 21 nights . The host Karla was always attending our needs and answering my message. She accommodated the arrival time one hour and a half earlier. She always answered our questions The room was spacious and clean. The window let fresh air circulate. The heater was working very well, which helped us to keep the room warm in the cold temperatures of winter. It was convenient to have two toilets. The kitchen was well equipped. The oven and microwave worked well We got plenty of space in the refrigerator. There are two spacious fridges. The bathroom was well eqpuipped. The tub was clean, and the water temperature was perfect. The place was quiet and we were able to rest well. The location couldn't be better. It is five minutes walking from the tube, the Northern line, and plenty of buses at the door. We could get to the center in less than 25 minutes.There are also supermarkets and restaurants offering worldwide cuisine options. Tooting Broadway market is a 1 0 minutes walk from the location. The area is safe and family oriented. There were three of us using two rooms. The cost is reasonable. We stayed for 21 nights. Everything was fine.

• Weronika (5/5): - Sprawdzi się na 1-2 noce, jeśli szukasz bardzo budżetowego noclegu. Kilka kroków od stacji metra, którym w 20 minut dojeżdża się do centrum Londynu. Pokój był duży. Nasz pokój był w miarę schludny, ale reszta obiektu była bardzo brudna. Wykładzina była brudna, poplamiona i zakurzona. Łazienka była odpychająca, na wannie był grzyb, brudna podłoga.

• henry (8/5): Good value for money in a vibey neighbourhood. - It was right near the train station so I could travel around London easily. It was exceptionally well priced. I had trouble getting in. The instruction message was apparently sent a few hours before - please remember people from overseas often don't have wifi so I struggled. I couldn't even call them because my phone doesn't make calls overseas.
• Lara (2/5): La casa de los horrores - Lo único que realmente merece la pena de este alojamiento es la ubicación que está muy cerca de la estación de metro y en menos de media hora estás en el centro de Londres Por donde empiezo... El baño extremadamente sucio, había hasta telas de araña con su correspondiente araña claro, los azulejos se veían hasta medio marrones de la suciedad y no hablemos de los sanitarios, no había papel de baño y durante el primer día tuvimos que ir al pub que había cerca para usar el baño, la cocina más de lo mismo la encimera súper sucia, cajones rotos, suelo roto y lleno me manchas y basura, he estado alojada tres días y dos noches y durante toda la estancia ha habido dos tazas sucias en el fregadero con suciedad que ya se veía macerada, la moqueta del pasillo llena de manchas negras, llegamos a la habitación y sorpresa! más suciedad, la cama incomodísima, tumbarte en una tabla de madera y eso es lo mismo con cojines a modo de almohada que hacían mucho peor el descanso, la calefacción, habiendo dos radiadores uno de ellos no funcionaba por lo tanto en la habitación se ha pasado frío, las lámparas de la pared no funcionaban solo la bombilla que había colgando del techo y si digo bombilla porque no era ni una lámpara, el mini armario la puerta se atrancaba por lo que se quedaba abierta el segundo cajón inviable abrirlo porque una vez que estaba abierto no lo podías cerrar y lleno de suciedad, la cortina de la venta rota y caída por lo que entraba toda la luz y la tarima de la habitación rota, en el anuncio ponía que había secador del pelo y lo hemos tenido que estar reclamando porque no ha aparecido, toallas supuestamente te incluye, pero te dan una mini toalla por persona y con esa misma toalla tienes que secarte la cara las manos y el cuerpo cuando te duchas
• Karolína (4/5): The host was nice and tried to help, but unfortunately the cleanliness, noise, and comfort issues made our stay quite un - The host was very kind and responsive – she replied quickly and seemed genuinely nice. The room itself was okay, and the neighbourhood was lovely, with nice cafés and a typical London atmosphere. When we arrived, the place hadn’t been cleaned properly and we had to contact Booking to resolve the issue, which unfortunately ruined our first afternoon. Although a kind man came later to clean everything, it was still disappointing. The shared bathroom was in a very poor condition – there was visible mould, an unpleasant smell, and the toilet was honestly disgusting. It didn’t seem to be cleaned regularly. Also, the noise at night was extreme, and the mattress was unbelievably hard – like sleeping on a rock.

• Budgens and Dragons (10/5): Perfect place for a cheap price - Absolutely exceeded my expectations in terms of how large the room was for the price paid. Really lovely room with a nice, hot shower in the shared bathroom. We didn’t use the kitchen (we were at a wedding most of the actual day we were there) but it looked to be a good size too with everything we would’ve needed. The internet was very fast and actually worked which almost never happens at any hotel you stay at, and the location was ideal - just a short walk from Tooting Bec station. I really have no complaints.

• Mohamed (6/5): Pleasant - The location is good and around the market and close to the tube station. Room is spacious. The bathroom was not clean, and bath drainage was clogged (they sent someone to fix this the next day). Bed was not comfortable.

• Sharyce (9/5): Good Stay! - We had a room to ourselves. Only a few others were there at the same time we were so it was relatively quiet. The kitchen was nice. Hot water for showers the whole time. Rooms were clean, and it was a quick walk to the Underground, which made getting downtown easy. The key system was easy and useful. Karla was nice. We would certainly stay here again. Some tiles in the bathroom were loose so stepping out of the shower on to the slick, jagged tiles could be scary sometimes. My partner slipped a couple times, and I nearly did as well. No toilet paper was provided so we had to buy our own. The mattress was very hard, and there was an extremely noticeable dip in the side where your head goes, so your feet are raised above your head. But, I was able to flip my head to the other side and it worked out okay. Overall, good for the price. Karla was nice, although we never met her.

• Eduarda (7/5): The place in general could use some renovation, but considering the price, I think the value for mon - Great location, just a 5-minute walk from the nearest tube station. Despite being in South London, the area felt lively and safe even at night, with good street lighting as it’s right next to the main road. The room was very spacious and there was always hot water available. The room faced the main road, so it was quite noisy with traffic, especially in the mornings. The sun also came in strongly early in the day, so better insulation or blackout curtains would have helped. The cleanliness could be improved — there was quite a bit of dust under the beds. The bathroom was reasonably clean, but since it’s shared, it depends on how tidy the other guests are.

• Jordan (1/5): Avoid at all costs. - I have stayed in below expectation properties, I have dealt with rude property managers, never in my years with booking.com have I dealt with such a rude property manager with such a deceiving property. Firstly, the room you will be given is not the one in the photos provided. You will be sent up two further flights of stairs to a room with dirty walls, broken floorboards, no light fixtures and a view politely described as the conjugal meeting point of two alleyways. Secondly, you will find the interior design “shabby-chic” if the “chic” itself also went on holiday. Broken floor tiles will adorn the kitchen to match the hanging cupboard doors were hanging off, themselves matching the exposed cutlery drawers, then proceeding to the bathroom where for four days out of seven there was no toilet paper, an inhuman smell in the air and more matching broken fixtures in the form of the shower temperature, which was a dirty knob sticking through a broken tile. Thirdly, the cleaner operates on an opposite day schedule, by this I mean they enter the property, remove the binbags and laundry which are piled together under the stairs for three days, the bin will not be replaced, nor will a single spare one be left anywhere in the property. (I presume to match the toilet rolls’ routine!) Fourthly, if you enjoy tepid tap water and lukewarm showers, this is the property for you! The boiler depressurised within 30 minutes of our arrival, and this was not corrected during our stay (a simple 5 minute fix) despite being told numerous times a plumber would arrive to fix it, this never happened. We were simply informed multiple times that since the other guests had no issue, there was no issue!

Very kind host. - Karla was always available to help us via Whatsapp, the self check-in was comfortable and absolutely seamless (no need to rush for some specific hour to meet your host personally). We could manage the indoor temperature the way we wanted, wifi signal was good. Tha place is well situated, not far from the city centre, very close to the nearest underground and bus stop. The place was modest, with basic facilities. Cleanliness could be better. Shared bathroom didn't feel very comfortable.

• Tine (8/5): Very good - The room was great and spacious. Really nice. I was in London but was able to relax and get a good nights sleep. The room I had was really big and good value for the money. The neighbourhood is a really vibrant place with tons of good restaurants and cafees. Close to the Underground. A 2 minute walk from the underground. The room is also close to a really nice supermarket.
• Anne (7/5): Good - The room was a big size, it was clean. People had commented about no sheet on the bed but there were sheets. Kitchen with standard equipment (including microwave as a previous review complained about). Easy check in and good time for check out. I'd really say this stay was great but the bed really let it down. The mattress was solid. I'd read a previous review about someone struggling to sleep because it was hard and I thought it would just be quite firm but really it was unbearable for me and I have travelled in hostels around south America so I can cope with a dodgy mattress. I got very little sleep and woke up feeling bruised. I had booked 5 nights and my partner was joining me from the second night so I actually bought an air mattress to sleep on top of the mattress. (I had told my partner about the mattress and he actually burst out laughing at how hard it was when he sat on it). I had also read that there was only 2 pillows so I'd brought 2 of my own which I think were needed. The room generally is fine and as you'd expect but please get a new mattress and a couple of extra pillows. Also a bedside light would be a nice addition.

Kitchen very dirty, fridge very very dirty than even a dustbin, no microwave, no spoons, spoilt washing machine with smelling water, no soap in the bathroom, no napkins in the kitchen not even a single one, no bedsheets only mattresses cover with a lot of stains, smelly towels, and upon calling the landlord he will never pick, kitchen full of waste, broken tiles and cabinet, on top of fridge is more than a dusty road. I think we deserve a refund. There is no cleaner in that apartment. Only 1 small pot for cooking and 1 small pressure cooker. I wonder how booking.Com allowed such apartment on their website. I will not do any bookings on booking.com again because I complain about this appointment the first day and up until they have not reach out to me on my complaints. The landlord Mr Karla promised to bring the microwave and washing fixed but reliable information showed that as of 28th August 2024 all this things was still happening. Kindly check reviews for this apartment and see if you booking.com should have allowed this apartments on your site.

• Tom (5/5): Close to tube, cheap, but not very clean - Great location, close to the underground, comfortable bed The bathroom was frankly dirty, there was urine on the seat and poo left in the toilet. There was paint peeling off the wall in the bathroom and a massive hole in the roof to the attic. There was overflowing rubbish in the bin and the kitchen smelled unclean. Really needs a deep clean and redecorating. Curtains were thin so the room was quite light. The key is very stiff in the lock - needs some WD40.

There was a grocery store close by, the kitchen offered a lot of fridge space and a lot of cooking apparel! The owner is very very nice and super helpful! We enjoyed our stay here a lot!

• Alex (7/5): Good value, basic accommodation. - Perfect location right near the tube station, with on street parking nearby and a good range of restaurants within a stone’s throw. Communication with the owner was very good and the check in process was easy. The price was very competitive. The bed was very hard, okay for me but my wife found it uncomfortable. There were no sheets on the bed so we had to sleep on the bare mattress protector, I hope this was a one-off! I wouldn’t have minded having a fan to circulate the air either.
