Guest Reviews

- Noni Isnarti (9/5): Kind host. She let us to check in early. We really appreciate her kindness as we were very exhausted that day. - Clean with complete facilities. At ground floor, so no need to climb stairs. Easy to check in and check out.
Near the train station - around 8 minutes walking from the homestay.

- Sofia Caren (10/5): - Location Noisy
- Aneuta (1/5): Misleading listing – very noisy and not clean - Nothing We were unable to stay in this apartment and left within an hour after check-in. The main problem is that the property was not as described, and the listing contains a lot of incorrect and misleading information.
The listing says the apartment is “quiet”, but this is not true. The building is right next to the railway tracks, and even with the windows closed, trains rush past every couple of minutes and are extremely loud. The walls are also very thin – we could clearly hear people talking in the neighbouring apartment.
This noise level makes it impossible to rest.
The listing also states “entire unit located on ground floor”, but we were placed on the second floor. There is no elevator in the building, so we had to carry our heavy luggage upstairs, which we did not expect at all.
The apartment was not properly cleaned. The bed was covered with many black hairs, there was visible dust on the floor, and the bedding had an unpleasant smell. When I mentioned this in the chat, the host replied that “a couple of hairs” would not affect our stay, which was disappointing.
When we arrived, there were no pillows on the bed. The host told us to “look for them in the closet”. Inside we found two bare pillows without pillowcases and had to search through boxes – together with random personal items – to find pillowcases. It felt uncomfortable and unprofessional.
For two guests staying three nights, there were only two large bath towels and no small towels at all, which made it unclear how we were supposed to stay there comfortably.
Because of the noise issues, the cleanliness problems, and the misleading listing details, we decided it was impossible to stay here and booked another hotel the same night at our own expense.
Unfortunately, we cannot recommend this property at all.
- Ahmed (10/5): We enjoyed staying at this place. Very close to Okubo station and few min away from Shinjuku. A clean & comfy place -
- Patric (10/5): -
- Lucas (10/5): - Perfect,
Nothing bad to say about anything
- Gregory (5/5): I would try a different location. - I think the location and the surrounding area was fine and as expected. I liked having a washing machine in the room. The Japanese gentleman I communicated with was great. The photos are bit little deceiving as far as the size and layout. The noise was a bit much from upstairs. Maybe they are remodeling that room. The host I communicated with from booking was not as great.
- Ray (6/5): Okay, but not stress-free for two-week stay - - Close to the train station with Yamanote line
- Good appliances (washer, drying rack, toilet, shower, hair dryer, microwave, fridge)
- Shower soap, washing detergent, tooth brush provided
- Accommodates 3 people
- Safe neighborhood - Cleanliness (leftovers in fridge)
- Very few bath towels, no face towels
- Only 1 toilet paper roll (not enough for 2 week stay)
- Entry instructions provided in a website link that wasn't visible in booking chat, so we had to wait in the rain for a while in order to enter the building. This was very stressful after a long flight + train commuting.
(10/5): Exceptional -
