- Tania (10/5): An absolute gem in paradise for larger groups - This property was the perfect home away from home in beautiful paradise. There were 8 of us who stayed here for the week, each with our own space to get privacy and quiet, but still lots of shared spaces to share. The house could easily accomodate more as we had 3 beds that were unused. The property has everything you could possibly need for a comfortable stay - plenty of towels, washer & dryer, fully equipped kitchens (each apartment has its own), pantry items, sun loungers & pool floats, even hair dryers. Location is perfect, just a few mins walk/drive from Muri beach and some great restaurants/cafes. Incredible value for money, and our host Donna was so incredibly hospitable, even helping us with an emergency request when our flight was unexpectedly cancelled. We would highly recommend this property, and would consider this our first option on our next trip. This would not put us off staying again in any way but the only thing we found was that the pool was a little cold for us to swim in, high temps were 24-25 while we were there, but it was lovely to lay out by the pool and dip our feet/legs in. The beach is so close as well that we would just pop down there every day to swim instead.
- Claudia (10/5): Exceptional Stay Tipani Lodge is the only place to stay in Rarotonga for a large group! - The house was perfect! Spacious, has absolutely all the amenities you need, location is fantastic, the pool is deep with plenty of loungers, We had a party of 12 and didn't feel on top of each other at all. Plenty of parking space. Host was helpful and very responsive to deal with. It was a little tricky to find but once we got the hang of it it was no problem. We would stay at Tipani Lodge over and over again. When we moved beds around to suit our sleeping arrangements the floor was quite dirty with a lot of dead ants so could probably do with furniture being pulled out and cleaned a little more often.
- Ryan (10/5): Outstanding accommodation - The wifi was brilliant. The pool was awesome. The big fenced deck was great for our little one. The multiple apartments with their own facilities made things really easy. The house was close to Muri, pubs, resorts and cafes. The washing machine was great as were the smart TVs. The only thing was the beds were on rollers and every time you sat down the bed moved. Would recommend rubber stoppers.
- Fallon (9/5): Good location. Great place for large family groups. - Lots of space to cater for our family group of 10. We were able to come together but also have our own private spaces. Awesome outdoor spaces for BBQs and gathering together. Pool was great 👍 Located close to excursions, eating places, Muri Lagoon and Spas. Quiet location besides the roosters and dogs (which we already know is part of the Raro experience!😅). Nice breeze flows through the property and good having screen doors and windows. Great facilities and kitchen ware to cater for large groups. Our host Varnia was awesome to deal with, a couple of repairs were needed when we arrived which she organised to be done as soon as possible. Good communication, friendly and hospitable. The king size beds are joint single beds so the wood frame in the middle is uncomfortable. Also you have to remember to check the booster switch is on for the hot water otherwise showers are lukewarm, in saying that, this is not really a big deal if the weather is warm😉but annoying if you’re showering late at night or early morning. Price has gone up significantly from when we originally booked.
- Vavahe'a (10/5): Loved our stay with Tipani lodge and would definitely rebook on our next trip to the islands - A+ - Spacious, privacy, free wifi and of course the layout of the property. Beautiful pool that the kids absolutely enjoyed swimming in every day. With Tipani lodge being so spacious we didn’t feel like we were crowding each other. We enjoyed many family dinners out on the upper and lower decks. Lots of room for our family of 13. Easy communication with Varnia who was always helpful with any questions. Not a dislike but we noticed early morning there was no hot water, took until mid morning for the water to heat up. But In saying that it was hot and humid so the cold showers were refreshing.
