• Gerry (1/5): This home is nasty and not as advertised - Nothing. It was not the same home we booked. The interior advertised was not the same as the home we rented. On our arrival we discovered we had been scammed. Do not book with this company. Unfortunately they are not customer service oriented and throw in unexpected costs. Worse, the unit I booked was not as expected and extremely nasty and in need of repair. Booked this home for a vacation late November this year. After the full cancelation expired the property sent us a email indicating that we need to fill in a mandatory form. Thinking it is just some follow up questions or information they needed, we obliged. The form was a menu of options and mandatory costs that we were unaware of. One of the options was for insurance that they deemed mandatory at $100.00 USD. This was completely unexpected. The cancellation time ran out so I had already paid for the rental. Reluctantly I paid them. The next option was heat for the pool. The advertisement specifically states the pool as a the main attraction to this home, what it does not state is that the pool is not heated. So great that it has a pool but unless you pay them another $400.00 Canadian, you get to swim in an ice cold pool. Again we were informed of this after the cancellation expired and we fully paid for the property. Reluctantly we paid the extra $400.00 Canadian. In total we paid $538.00 Canadian more then the advertised price. Once we arrived and as soon as we opened the door, the home looked nothing like the pictures advertised. In Fact it was a completely different home and layout. The unit had broken tiles, nasty crusty stains on most towels. Stains on the bed spreads and sheets. Stains and nasty crusty like material all over the floors in several areas including behind bed tables and furniture. Corners and baseboards were nasty with dirt. Damages everywhere including the pool table. They even had a sign stating the home was deep cleaned with a nasty looking blotch of some kind of puke material on it. Imagine, a notice posted that claims the place has been deep cleaned and the notice itself has a nasty dirty blotch of excrement of some sort on it.
