• Michael (9/5): Great place and location! - Great location. Great service from the staff. Had an issue initially as the water heater turned itself off but the staff was there to fix it within 15 minutes. Other than that it was perfect for us.

Esta situado muy céntrico, en el centro histórico. Se puede ir andando a todos los monumentos y museos, tambien a la estación de tren. La parte alta no dispone de algún mueble para dejar la ropa y esto plantea incomodidad.

• kate (9/5): - The apartment is beautiful. It is in an excellent location - extremely walkable to all of the obvious attractions and my mother is 85 and it was great. Shower is lovely straight forward with consistent temperature. I booked this apartment for myself and my 85 year old mother. I knew it was on the 2nd floor and no lift as my mother is very fit, however the stairs are concrete and 1 or 2 a little uneven. We popped back to the apartment around 4 or 5 for a rest before going out again and it felt very cold. It was not cold overnight or in the morning (no heating on) just around this time.

The equipment is also very good, sufficient for few days stay :-) The home guide is clear and helpful :-). Everything inside is clean. Nice to have there the photo books about Florence monuments. We really enjoyed it :-). It is pitty, that the street is noissy in the night, esp. early in the morning, but we mentioned, it is everywhere in Florence center... this is the tax for being so close to the interesting places, I think you can't do anything with it :-(. I recommend to take earplugs to future guests ;-), and everything will be great!
• Leonie (10/5): Exceptional - Excellent location, good size apartment with a comfortable bed and effective heating. Climbing 3 flights of stairs with a suitcase (I did know it was coming, the info was clear). 4am wake up from the vendor retrieving his cart from a garage each morning.

• Maria (9/5): It was lovely to return at the end of every day of sightseeing to this lovely, comfortable apartment - This is a lovely old apartment and very comfortable. Perfect location within walking distance of all the cultural sights of the city on both sides of the river. We would highly recommend it to anyone who does not have a problem with two flights of stairs. There was nothing to dislike about this apartment.

• Anonymous (2/5): Good location on paper but awful and very bad sleep - Location within the city was good (however poor in terms of what was below the apartment). Washing machine facilities were convenient. The apartment is located above several garages that were in constant use, particularly very early in the mornings (4-6am). Heavy and large market stalls on wheels would roll along the cobbles very loudly for around 1 hour as the 8/10 stalls stored in the below garages would exit. The noise was worsened due to the extremely poor windows, which although double glazed, the seal was degraded or poorly installed and it felt like they were in the room. Sleep was very difficult also as the alley way was used for late night frolicking and the poor windows again let all the sound. The facilities were poor, the gas oven had a broken seal and was dirty! A dusty old sideboard held greasy and dusty mismatched glasses etc. There was a small travel hairdryer that over heated after 2 mins. The bin situation very inconvenient being a number of streets away to dispose of rubbish!

Supermarket short walk away. Air conditioning. Large refrigerator. Washing machine. Great communication with Host. There were no tea towels or oven mitts, but I messaged the host and he responded promptly.

• Dóra (7/5): It was a pleasure to be in the apartment, we enjoyed our stay despite of the early morning wake-ups.:) - The apartment was very convenient, clean and perfectly situated in the centre. It was difficult to sleep because every morning around 4.45 people were pushing around those huge box-like stands with different items to sell in them along the street. Everyone woke up and was tired in the mornings. The storage of these big stands are right next to the apartment unfortunately.:-(((((
