- Luka (10/5): Lovely stay at the beautiful Old Shop! - We absolutely loved our stay at the Old Shop, wished we’d stayed longer than one night!
Easy to get into the place using the lock box. The place was styled so beautifully.
The place has everything you need for a comfortable stay. Really appreciated having the fire place set, that was a nice novelty. We were kindly provided a late check in after request and even told we could arrive anytime as the place was already ready.
Thanks for having us Courtney and Damo! The bath towels were a little hardened but nothing that bothered us too much.
- Carrieann (10/5): Fantastic stay definitely recommend - Beautiful property exceptionally clean and very comfortable It was a little noisy on a Friday night but settled quickly
- Janelle (5/5): Nice but didn’t like the lack of privacy etc - Bed and couch was comfortable The house needs window coverings, the tv and wi-fi kept glitching and not workjng properly and the portable stove doesn’t work. Otherwise the house was ok but didn’t enjoy having no privacy.
- Kellen (9/5): Superb -
- Seong (8/5): Overoll, i was happy - Clean and good mood. Missing microwave and hair dryer
Stair to to go to bed to upstairs was too narrow
Ants in the kitchen
- John (10/5): Excellent! -
- Jessie (10/5): Loved everything about this air bnb.. my new favourite - Beautifully decorated, thoughtful designed studio with gorgeous shower. Loved the outdoor bath, fireplace, high ceilings.
- Hayley (10/5): Great stay! - We had a great stay! The place is perfectly designed and very well styled. Was a lovely little escape 😀. Loved the outdoor bath, the two fireplaces and the sourdough surprise left by the owners
- Kerindy (10/5): Exceptional - I loved this space. Peaceful, so much thought, loved and detail put into it.
- Jacquelyn (10/5): Converted Blacksmith Shop, unique & full of character, lovely hosts going the extra mile - A very unique and special place to stay nestled in the Byron hinterland. The old blacksmith shop has been beautifully converted and has lots of character & wow factor. Really enjoyed celebrating our 20th wedding anniversary here. Indoor fireplace, beautiful kitchen & wooden carved stools, quality bathroom fittings & freshly baked sourdough to boot - very appreciated. A spiral staircase leads to the loft bedroom with pretty stained glass windows. Outdoors, soaking in the bathtub under the night sky with a roaring outdoor open fire make it even more special. Corner store with wide selection of supplies and great espresso coffee across the road. Hosts lovely, going the extra mile to make your stay enjoyable. Thank you!
- Paul (10/5): Brilliant bath under the stars!!! - Everything. Bath under the stars. Complimentary breakfast. Super hosts!
- Oriane (10/5): A little peaceful heaven! - This is such a beautiful place! We loved the decoration, the fire place, the hot tub outside. There weren’t curtains installed yet so there wasn’t much privacy and there was a lot of light in the morning. But the hosts ordered some so this place will be perfect once there are curtains.
- Sinead (9/5): Superb - We absolutely loved staying at The Old Shop. It was the minor touches of fresh sourdough, fire place ready for lighting and the thoughtful ness of the hosts that made our stay what it was. Would definitely stay again, highly recommended.
