- SATAPHAT (10/5): Beyond Expectation - Superb location, luxury spacious room, great breakfast, and excellent staff. The reception here is friendly and super helpful, they speak English fluently. This was the only place that we can communicate in English in our Qingdao trip! They even helped us talking to the China Customs to confirm the appointment. Without them, we might not have resolved our issues with customs and wouldn't claim our item back smoothly.

The staff are always very nice and helpful. The hotel smells very good too! There is no free self-service laundry room like with most of the newer hotels. - Alexander (10/5): Shangri-La sind die Besten - Es war alles super, die Lage, das Zimmer, das Frühstück kontinentales, asiatisch, japanisch, immer nachgefüllt, vorbereiteter Sitzplatz von Mitarbeitern zugewiesen. Perfekte Übernachtung und Start in den neuen Tag. Bemerkenswert war im Zimmer eine Postkarte mit möglichen Joggingsrouten. Während unseren Aufenthalt wurden auf der ganzen Etage die Matratzen gewechselt.

Wij hadden de Valley Wing met Executive Lounge op de 20e verdieping. Prachtig uitzicht, heerlijk ontbijt en diner, buffet en\of van de kaart. Alleen het bed was voor mij net iets te hard, maar dat is zo persoonlijk. Ik voelde me helemaal thuis in dit hotel! Eigenlijk helemaal niets..

Da la pena no conocer su nombre t bellboy tambien fue siempre con muchas atencion desde el lobby hasta el ascensor. Me gusto la ambientacion de dormitorio baño mueble sillon cama colchon almohadas. Hasta la personal de desayunos como la mosa manager desayuna fantastico. Merienda desde 5y 30 a 7y 30pm incluido en la estadia. De maravilloso q no hacia falta ir a cenar q fueron tan excelente los apetitos. Ir a experimentar gentes. Vayan!!!! Es super. Hiper recomendado.!!! Sinceramente nada de nada. Todo fue 100% brillante.

The room was quiet, despite being very close to the Metro and CBD, very close to Mix C which is fabulous place to eat. We didn't eat breakfast there but did enjoy the Sunday lunch buffet and the buffet one evening, this was very good. The lack of reception staff with English skills, and lack of tourist info in English, but this is typical throughout Qingdao, although I would have thought the Shangri-La in this location would have ensured one staff member was always available with English. We did experience one gentleman who was very helpful but he wasn't there when we checked out. On check out I had difficulty getting an invoice with the receptionist insisting I pay before she provided one, and then there was an error, with her very limited English I eventually gave up trying to explain one of the buffet meals was charged incorrectly.

- Dr. Ömer Sahin (10/5): Ein Aufenthalt bei Shangri-La Qingdao ist ein besonders gutes Erlebnis. - For New Year Celebrations we once again decided to stay at Shangri-La Hotel in Qingdao As in the past as well, we booked Executive floor. Guided by the very professional management and leadership of Mrs. Susanna Li we enjoyed heartfelt hospitality, service and care by all team members at all levels. Starting with the warm welcome until farewell all pay special attention to hotel guests. Mrs. Anny Zhang, Mr. Kenta Goto, Mr. Ley Yuan, in Executive floor Mrs. Tina Sui, Mrs. Becky Zhu, as well as Bella, Yana, Jessica, Jamie, Hardy, room service ladies and several others whose names we could not catch forwarded to us an outmost hospitality and service. The rich breakfast and the happy hour were very diverse and delicious. We enjoyed the food every time. Needless to mention that hotel and the rooms were very clean any time. Last but not least: The hotel has an excellent location. Metro and bus stations are almost in front of the building. The high-class shopping mall Mix is around the corner. It takes about ten minutes walking to enjoy seaside at memorial May 4th Square. If Japanese food is required, inside hotel there is a very high class one. My wife and I extend our compliments to Management and team of Shangri-La Qingdao and highly recommend the hotel. Kein Grund zur Reklamation
