Guest Reviews
- Jodi (9/5): - Clean, comfortable and stylish. Close to city. Not enough seating in lounge area for all guests
- Kayla (10/5): It was so lovely and spacious. Comfortable and clean! Definitely recommend! - Clean, spacious, close to everything in Hobart N/A
- Alison (5/5): It was ok but I would not book again - needs some work - It’s very spacious It’s too far from the centre which I should have checked. The furnishings are all very tired - including the kitchen and utensils
- Chris (10/5): - Roomy and a great location to get to everything
- Ziyi (9/5): -
- Danielle (8/5): - Location was great. Lots of space. Clean and modern.
- Guilherme (7/5): -
- Kathy (10/5): Very happy with our choice and we will go back without hesitation! - We absolutely loved the location of the property. It was spacious and comfortable for our group of 6. Lots of cupboards and extras we were not expecting. Thoroughly recommend this property for your visit to Hobart! It was a bit dark due to the nature of the building but we were out most days so it really wasn’t an issue.
- Maria (5/5): Short stay is ok. - Location was good, easy to find. One particular suggestion is bathroom facility, there was a bath with overhead shower which is so old fashioned that is hardly can be used without wetting the whole bathroom. We should suggest to install a hand held shower. The other bathroom with a shower room is with a leaking door and a non adjustable shower head. With both bathrooms which are child unfriendly, we would suggest to have hand held showers installed.
- Terri (8/5): Our stay was as pleasant as it could be considering the awful weather we enchant week. It was nice to come back to our - The property was spacious and for a group of 4 the separate bedrooms were great. The off street parking was a bonus for our hire car as parking in Hobart is not plentiful. Easy access to the property when we arrived, thoughtful Manager. The only issue we had was working out how to use the dryer, not a type we had encountered before. Once we googled what the problem was it was ok, water and lint holders needed to be emptied.
- Francine (10/5): - Great size for groups & excellent location
- Alan (8/5): Good location - Good space. Large dining and lounge room. Very old cleaning equipment. Need to to upgraded. Beds are not good enough. It’s noisy.
- Jonathon (8/5): Excellent space for a larger family/group and convenient location - Great space for a large group, close to city centre but still quiet surrounds Couple of glitches with hot water, no tea towels, etc. outside area needs work.
- Sarah (10/5): Amazing house, great location need a little work done in bathrooms - Very spacious kitchen is beautiful easy access for us to get to where we needed to be in the city without too much hassle, beds were comfy House needs some TLC just some marks on windows which could really help brighten a guests stay only major problem we had was the amount of water that would leak out from both bathrooms:
Ensuite - the glass cover doesn’t really stop any water from flowing out/splashing from you onto the floor we needed to make sure we laid a towel down so we wouldn’t slip perhaps putting a drain in would help with this?
Bathroom outside of main bedroom - was the worst one for leaks - would recommend checking the toilet as we weren’t sure if there was an actual leak coming from the toilet of if it was also from the shower - a drain would benefit beneficial here and there needs to be some warning or something about the step down. You think we would have gotten used to it after the week but we kept forgetting
- Anne-marie (9/5): We enjoyed our stay and all the facilities it provided. Had everything we needed. We throughly enjoyed our stay her and - Very spacious and central to the city. Everything was fine… no recommendations
- Katherine (9/5): Fantastic location to access Hobart, thank you! - Great location, close to town. It was all good!
- Jennee (8/5): Very good - Awesome place, lots of space! Some of the needs were creaky but not big deal
- Gailitis (9/5): Superb -
- Natasja (8/5): We enjoyed our stay for our girls trip. This place comfortably housed all 5 of us and we enjoyed the space and location. - It was such a good space for a big group. The location was fantastic.
The bathrooms and showers were great. The beds were not very comfortable and there needs to be a few more opening windows.
- Franca (8/5): Very good - Spacious home
Great, quiet location
Prompt interaction with owner
The house warmed up quite quickly Parking (only because someone kept on purposely not allowing me to park out the front on the road)
Ensuite shower screen should be wider to avoid water escaping
Other shower leaked through the glass door
No available toilet roll holder in other bathroom
Couldn't work out how to operate the induction cooktop
Cookware not induction friendly
No windows in either bathroom
Front window is frosted glass
No functional opening windows
No hot water in the kitchen
- Tabualevu (7/5): Locked out on arrival. - Location Owner gave wrong code for lockbox. We were freezing and it was raining. Maybe be next time get code right for incoming clients.
- Nicole (9/5): Convenient location and parking, ample room for five individuals to spend time together or apart. - Space was excellent as was location. It would be good to have instructions for the induction stove, We couldn't get it to work, the hotplates kept telling us F after we selected temperature. Probably user-error, but instructions would be awesome.
- Coreena (9/5): roomy - lounge was peeling and heating took a while to first heat up, otherwise good
- Bruce (4/5): disappointing would not recommend. Not value for money. - Spacious, plenty of bedrooms. The ad said there was an outdoor area. There was a concrete area out the back which was a mess and had one chair and one small table.
The TV didn't work properly it was not a smart TV and there was no proper antenna but there was a cheap rabbit ears sitting on top of the TV.
The induction cook top was very hard to use and made harder by the fact that many of the saucepans were not suitable for induction cooking.
The living area was very spacious with a big window facing the road but the window was white glass so you couldn't see through it.
the main bedroom had no windows at all so was really dark.
Shower in main bedroom had the wrong type of shower head which flooded the bathroom floor every time we used it.
The lack of windows made the place quite claustrophobic and very dark. Lights were needed even during the day.
There was an insecure door that led to another area of the house that appeared to have someone else staying in.
Power points were loose, light globes were missing which made the house even darker.
It was a 15 min to 20 min very hilly walk to the waterfront.
- Raimund (7/5): good stay but the owner needs to finish the great renovation of old commercial building. - good central location with easy off street parking and very spacious. couches were old and worn, ensuite shower located in a very deep bath making shower access difficult
- Sandeep (9/5): Superb - Very close to the CBD, you can walk or drive to CBD.
Accommodation was very spacious, newly renovated I think. We loved the accommodation & location :)
- Nhi (10/5): Exceptional - Location closed to everything
- Rod (9/5): Great big place that’s well equipped and very clean. - Place was great. Spacious, clean, and close to everything. Had everything we needed and much more. Nothing.
- Chiquita (10/5): Beautiful retreat - Such a beautiful home situated close to the city. Comfortable homely feel with comfortable beds in all 5 bedrooms, with lovely warm quilts. All utensils needed were there for cooking and eating.
No traffic noise of a night time, quiet street.
Such a lovely home to enjoy while on a relaxing holiday. 100% recommend this retreat if you stay in Hobart.
