• Zosza (5/5): i appreciate communication with staff and location in the centre, still, being a budget place people don’t have to live - great location and communication with the staff. air conditioning worked well. staff was very responsive and helpful and nice to communicate with (thank you stella) this aspect made the whole experience which was quite cold (literally metaphorically and sensationally) - worth it the lighting is bright cold very unpleasant. only one night lamp (also with unpleasant cold light). no utensils or liquid for cleaning the dishes no sponge cloth or paper towel, to wipe the table after breakfast.. there’s no shelf to put anything in the shower and no hooks in the shower room (to hang clothes, towel while you wash). very loud ventilation in toilet [unseparated by a switch with the light (also very white and bad)] - we got us some candles and skipped using the light in the toilet altogether. i know it’s a budget stay but i don’t think it has to be so unbearable.. just change the lightbulbs and bring in some dishwashing liquid and some hooks on the doors here and there. and then the noise from the street won’t hurt so much. cold white isn’t cosy. not even nice. (imo) the apt was really cold also temperature wise - it’s a terrazzo made building and not warmed up for the winter, i get it, that’s why i suggest a change in light colouring to z slightly warmer. it will make a big difference.
