• Anne (10/5): - The property is just beautiful. Driving in was a real sense of peace, When I stepped into cottage I knew it was going to be perfect & relaxing. For those of you that like to relax at sunset with a drink, nibbles or even dinner, wander across the road to the lookout. Shops & attractions around the area are all only a short drive away. Carol & Mark were lovely hosts.

• Read (10/5): Charming place and great people. - I loved how cozy the place was, the view of the surrounding farm was instantly relaxing to me. The cottage is well appointed and pristine. That I didn’t have more time to stay there.
• Kim (10/5): Treat yourselves to some clean, fresh air - We loved everything about Moonya; the sense of peace, being surrounded by organic avocado trees, the cute little picket fence, watching the sun comes up, the starry night sky, the avocados left thoughtfully for our breakfast, the wonderful hosts Carol and Mark and we adored their sweet dog Kirby Leaving
• Riley (10/5): Perfect little cottage - It was the perfect little cottage surrounded by avocado trees. Carol and Mark were so welcoming and were so helpful. I would stay here again and I will be recommending it for everyone. Kirby the dog was so cute too!

• Robson (10/5): Sweet scenic comfy stay at Mt Tamborine - It had lovely indoor lighting, was clean and comfortable, had all the equipment needed (like utensils and air con) was a scenic property. They left a little note too which some fresh flowers which sums up how thoughtful the place was. Nothing.

The hosts (and their dog) were so lovely, the location was quiet and beautiful, the cabin was ultra clean and had everything we needed. The nicest touch was that they had pre-built the fire in the fire place, which is something they didn't need to do but it allowed us to light it with ease. Nothing

Maybe some lighting at the front would be helpful, just to show the driveway and entrance. on a busy road and we missed the entrance twice,

We would have liked to have stayed another night but they were booked out. Hosts even though they live next door they were not invasive to our space at all. We were allowed to look around the property which was so quiet and beautiful. Hosts did meet us with the key however I hadn't read a message on Booking.com where they had said the keys were in a locked box with code, was no problem though.

The large gate our front made us feel secure and the gardens leading to the accommodation were gorgeous. Hosts greeted us on arrival and farewelled us upon leave. There is a ramp from the bedroom into the bathroom. It's an awkward size, and almost unnoticeable so my partner and I both had a small tumble when exiting the bathroom. We had to place the luggage rack right by the ramp to avoid missing the step and potentially twisting our ankle.

The cottage was lovely and so immaculately clean. There was nothing more you could want. We enjoyed the peace and quiet. There was nothing that I didn’t like.

Mark and Carol were delightful - happy to leave you to your own devices or engage in interesting conversation entirely at your own volition as they tend the garden, grounds and farm gate produce. The accommodation has been very tastefully and thoughtfully renovated to meet your every need! Nothing to dislike about this property.

• Jascinta (10/5): The Moonya Avocado Cottage is the perfect place to stay if you’re looking for a relaxing getaway alone or a romantic hol - The cottage, the farm, the service- it was an amazing experience. I loved being greeted by Kirby, the friendly pooch who lives on sight. Mark and Carol were delightful, they gave the perfect balance of being friendly, attentive and accommodating whilst also leaving me to some quality alone time. The avocado farm was so beautiful and peaceful. The cottage was clean, cosy, stocked full of fire wood ready for use. I couldn’t rate this place high enough. I really have no complaints to be honest- If I could recommend anything for future guests, perhaps bring your own coffee- albeit, I have stayed in 5 star resorts and I would say the same at those places too. It would be handy to bring some bread or crackers to spread some freshly picked avocados on too. I think that this was more of a ‘me being technologically challenged’ thing, but I couldn’t seem to log into my streaming services on the TV. It really wasn’t an issue though, staying at a place like the Moonya avocado cottage, TV is pretty unnecessary.

• Holly (9/5): Beautiful winter short stay - The place is so quaint and beautiful. Possibly the original homestead to the property? We had everything we needed - comfy bed and very warm showers for winter. More than enough room for a few nights stay. The owners Mark and Carol were so lovely and greeted us and introduced us to their dog who was happy to play. They even prepped our fireplace. A beautiful setting amongst the country. We can't wait to come back, but stay longer!
