Guest Reviews
- Liezl (10/5): - Beautiful place, great location, well kept and clean.
- Denise (9/5): Enjoyable, despite the weather and comfortable. - Many thoughtful extras supplied. e.g. Roller shutters to shut out noise and lights It was confusing to find access, although I hadn't read my latest email.
- Andrea (7/5): Lovely spot central to town & close to attractions - Very generous serving of bacon & eggs left for us to cook, along with orange juice & milk. There were block out shutters on the bedroom windows which helped with light & kept out any noises from traffic the bathroom window was not very private but owners say that is being rectified.
- Lesley (7/5): - Great location, beautiful bedrooms and huge bathroom, quiet. Appreciated the eggs and bacon in the fridge Could have been cleaner, had to wash the dog hairs of the couch to sit down.
Couple of pieces of white bread in freezer with dried freezer burn.
1 individual ice cream in freezer (suspect it wasn't meant for us), water jug in fridge with tiny amount of water (think someone else drank it)
1 glass of juice
Garden is very dry, (pictures were taken when it was greener) outdoor furniture was a bit too dirty to use
- Trina (9/5): What a fun place to stay! - Super cute and quirky! Loved the animals and the surprise bacon and egg breakfast in the fridge for the first morning. Nothing! It was great.
- Caroline (7/5): -
- Sandra (10/5): -
- Beth (9/5): Relaxed, cosy, convenient, snug - Location, comfort, ambiance Nothing of note
- Benjamin (10/5): Exceptional -
- Julia (8/5): Tanunda cottage - Location to town. There were some Staples in the kitchen with bread, eggs , milk & bacon Low doors... 6'4" man & 5'8" doors.
- Luhong (10/5): Exceptional -
- Charmaine (10/5): Easy access to wineries, restaurants and was spacious and cool through the extreme hot days we had. - Definitely a home away from home. Beautiful set up and decorated. The alpacas were a hit with our visiting daughters.
- Frank (9/5): Allowed friends to catch up, enjoy the Tesky Bros concert and explore the Barossa - Bacon and eggs provided on arrival by host.
Good size , really clean bedrooms and shower.
Enjoyed cooking on BBQ.
Convienient parking.
All cooking appliances and oil etc provided.
Really enjoyed sitting in the garden drinking a wine in the evening. A coffee machine would have been enjoyed by the more serious coffee drinkers.
- Lisa (9/5): Superb - Fabulous outlook. Very central yet quiet and peaceful. Beds very comfortable and amenities were appreciated.
- Nikki (7/5): Good location just needs some attention - Great location Run down needs a good clean smelt of cats but there were no cats
- Craig (9/5): Superb - Great location
- Roger (8/5): While the location and outlook were fabulous, beds were comfortable it was not value for money - Location and the outlook Kitchen dirty (particularly the oven), utensils and glasses dirty.
Below is a list of items that could be improved for value for money:
- Glasses filthy with lipstick and fingerprints
- Oven and trays filthy
- Leather lounges past its best.
- Bathroom and bedroom doors do not close or latch
- TV requires replacement. A 6cm line down screen
- No heating in 2 of 3 bedrooms and main bathroom
- Electric blanket did not work on one side in front RH bedroom (from road)
- No laundry powder
- Vacuum cleaner not working properly
- Simon (10/5): Exceptional -
- Pjh (8/5): Very welcoming, comfortable cottage that it was nice to come home to after a busy day sightseeing. - Privacy, felt secure, block out shutters very effective for light and noise, rain head shower fabulous, electric blankets, llamas, figs, very comfy beds, off street parking. No coffee making facilities -aside from instant - capacity to make a good coffee very essential.
- Russell (8/5): Nice property well located a bit noisy as on main road. - No breakfast was provided, however that was not a problem as in town were several nice cafes. Very obscure entrance after driving down what was really the footpath. Made getting out difficult as vision was obscured. Traffic noise at night. as most vehicles hit a pot hole in the road with a resulting loud bang.
