It had so much charm and character, making it feel like a true home away from home. It was walking distance to the town centre and the beach which was so handy. We would definitely return in the future! Our host was also friendly, welcoming, and always easy to communicate with. Highly recommend. N/A
• Natasha (8/5): We loved Shirley St, location 10/10, cute little place. Made some great memories here :) - Property was cute, clean and so close to town. Walked to dog beach and town easily. Great location to walk to dinner. House is super cute with tasteful decorations and loads of blankets, spices, coffee machine, dishwasher. Small well equipped laundry, everything really easy to use and beautiful. Layout was a little different with no ensuite bathrooms. One bathroom inside and other bathroom was an outdoor bathroom with open windows.. gorgeous bathroom but little out of the way and creepy to use at night. Furniture needed some updating. Kitchen could use a dining table near it and outdoor furniture was not comfy. Another lounge or bigger lounge is needed :)
• Sara (9/5): Superb - The house is super cute, with everything you could possibly need for a great stay. The location in terms of walking distance to the town is excellent. The traffic noise is quite loud and constant for the front two rooms.
• Carol (7/5): We had a lovely time unfortunately our kayaking with dolphins didn’t go ahead due to ocean conditions but everything els - Location Clean Great for family members When I booked I wasn’t aware the third bedroom and bathroom were outside separate. It was very wet on the first few days unfortunately and the back door doesn’t have a mat which made it hard for the third couple coming and going without making a mess on floor at entrance . Suggestions that area needs a mat at back door and some undercover when going to the outdoor bathroom.it also could do with a sign or latch on bathroom door so guest could know if it’s in use.

• Michelle (8/5): All good except the outdoor room - Cost and all the family could stay together Bedroom & Bathroom outdoors. This was not mentioned in add. Also the outside room had a damp smell which was very uncomfortable for people in this room. The smell did not leave even when the door was left open.
• Natalie (10/5): Location is fabulous , beds are comfy and the home is nicely decorated with plenty of living spaces. - Shirley Beach House was a pleasure to stay at. The home has been lovingly renovated and decorated. It was perfect for our family of 6 - staying 4 nights to attend Blues Fest. The home is in easy walking distance to the centre of Byron Bay, main eateries and the beach. The beds are all very comfortable and the house is spacious with both indoor and outdoor living spaces. There are two bathrooms which is perfect for a party of 6. Everyone’s favourite shower being the ‘outside’ one !!! Off street parking is available and the house is fenced all around which is imperative if you have children as it is on a very busy road. Karolina’s communication was excellent. We hope to visit this home again.

It was spacious for our family, with multiple outdoor spaces for relaxing. Parking onsite for two cars was an added bonus!

The one downfall is the house is on a very busy road with a lot of street noise however we got used to it pretty quickly and it was walking distance to the Main Street and beach.
