Guest Reviews
- Ro (10/5): Good value, charming country setting in cosy, well appointed large house. Big thankyou to the owners for covering everyt - Remote, super peaceful, set in rolling hills and forest. Wonderful taste of hidden Gippsland. Thanks for setting the fire and supply of firewood. Loved it all.
- Cameron (10/5): Nice quiet getaway - Beautiful remote location. Quiet and relaxing with cosy wood fire. Nothing not to like.

- Vesa (9/5): - Very nice, clean house. Everything was as described. Amazing nature, deer and wombats.
- David (10/5): Fantastic - Beautiful location. Very welcoming home. Very well equipped. Everything was great.
- Andre (10/5): -
- Martin (10/5): Beautiful, comfortable house to relax, close to Wilsons Prom - Excellently prepared and presented, with the fireplace ready to light and heaps of dry wood to use each day
Everything needed to cook big family meals; great views of hills to observe deer, kangaroos and birdlife in a private setting (no visible neighbours and no road noise) Nothing to dislike
- Tomic (9/5): Peaceful getaway in nature - Gorgeous location - isolated in nature with spectacular views.
Sweet cottage with lovely old-timey decor and a fireplace.
Clean, comfy beds, tidy kitchen, comfy couches.
Everything you need to cook your own meals.
2 separate sitting areas, and a deck all around the house - plenty of places to sit and read, chat, play cards.
Split system air con in the living area, and a fireplace.
Electric blankets for keeping warm if its cold (and a heater in one bedroom). Pedestal fans in 2 of 3 of the bedrooms if its hot (probably could do with a couple more fans - it was over 40 degrees one of the days we were there, so we needed to use them!).
Hosts readily responded to questions via Booking.com's chat and were very helpful. Not a negative, just something to be aware of - the tracks that lead to the property are cliff-side gravel tracks. Perfectly safe, but could be intimidating for less-confident drivers.

- Erik (9/5): - Superb location, very peaceful, fantastic views.
- Helen (8/5): Lovely and peaceful, good views, gorgeous country style comfort. Host was very helpful and responsiv - Lovely and peaceful, good views, gorgeous country style comfort. Host was very helpful and responsive.
- Steven (10/5): Exceptional - To sum up..."Pefect"
Location brilliant, amenities excellent, host preparation of site excellent.
For anyone wanting a relaxing time away from everything, this is the place.
I cannot recommend highly enough.
Will be back. . Frequently. Nothing
- Chris (10/5): We had smiles on our faces from when we drove down the driveway and all through our wonderful stay. - The location was fantastic, the house was a perfect country farmhouse, and the wildlife was everywhere - deer, kangaroos, wallabees, and we even saw a lyrebird. We particularly enjoy sitting high up looking down on the valley full of wildlife every morning and late afternoon. Nothing to mention, although I don't think the booking sites photo does the beautiful farm house justice.
- Vanessa (10/5): Exceptional - Love love love this little gem, love the location, the cottage is beautiful, fire was made up ready for us to light. Flexible check in time. Warm and cosy. Amazing views with lots of animals to see.
Wish we had of stayed longer. 3 lovely bedrooms, plenty of room, up early with coffee on the veranda. Our 11yr old labradoodle had a great time. Having lived in the country 30 yrs ago it just makes you appreciate it even more.
Thanks Amy and Tim for letting us share your lovely cottage. I would absolutely recommend it if you want a quiet escape from the busy world. There was nothing to complain about
- Phylicia (10/5): Authentic Aussie living in gorgeous nature! - Incredible setting with true Aussie feeling to it. We were gobsmacked by the views and how much space is provided. We saw many deer and kangaroos but the kolas eluded us! Would absolutely recommend a multi day stay and to head down to Wilsons Prom during the day for adventures. Bring lots of groceries and drinks to the house as it’s nice to cook and bbq rather than truck all the way down to the nearest town. Loved it! Will return someday. No complaints
- Barbara (9/5): The house was tasfully decorated and country feel. - Our hosts emailed us with instructions how to get there and where key was located and the code to the lockbox
- Alexander (8/5): Wonderful wildlife bonanza! - The location was amazing. We loved the beautiful setting & family cottage feel The air conditioning was inadequate for the hot night We had Saturday night. It does not get through to the bedrooms so all 4 of us had an uncomfortable sleepless night.
The long steep gravel driveway was also an issue for our van. Could be something to give people a heads up about
- Sian (9/5): Superb -
- Andrea (10/5): Exceptional -
- Conor (10/5): Exceptional - The location couldn't be more beautiful and the house is lovely and spacious with great facilities
- Sui (10/5): Exceptional -
- Gina (10/5): Very comfortable and beautiful - The views are awe inspiring, took awhile for us to take it all in. The house is very beautiful and the hosts have given a lot thought and care into making sure guests have everything they need and are comfortable. Very comfortable beds too. Nothing
- Trent (7/5): A nice quiet stay. - The old house, the wrap around verandah, the views, the peace and quiet. Some bits of the house need updating. A few things a little run down. Outside needs a tidy up.
- Ridwan (10/5): Exceptional - Location, Fireplace, Nature The driveway from the main gate would be difficult for a car with low ride height.
- Williams (8/5): Excellent - Could have a laundry
- Kirsten (9/5): Very quiet and beautiful place to relax and enjoy the view - The style, condition, comfort and views Grass too high to walk around much - snake dangers; unsure how big the property was as not all land accessible.
- Iris (10/5): Exceptional -
- Phallon (10/5): Secret getaway - The fire was lovely and the home was beautiful. N/A
- Rachel (10/5): Exceptional -
- Lusine (10/5): Amazing views, cozy and warm winter escape! - Beautifully furnished in a style of country cottage. Each Bedroom had a view to a amazing wild nature. Kitchen is well equipped, the fireplace was our favourite; what could be better than warm fireplace , wine with your loved one. There was nothing, really. Everything is well equipped for the weekend away.
- Krishna (10/5): Exceptional -
- Craig (10/5): Exceptional -
- Kivindu (10/5): Amazing stay near Wilsons Prom - The location is amazing. The property is surrounded by mountains and beautiful views. The house is a very nice old style bungalow. Everthing was clean and tidy. The host was very responsive for any questions I had. Had all the kitchen apliances we needed and cutlery and crockery as well. Had plenty of heating for the cold days. The only thing I wish the house had would be another toilet as the house only had 1 toilet for the 6 people that went.
