Guest Reviews
- David (9/5): -
- Phillip (10/5): Wonderful stay in comfortable digs in a fabulous location. - Everything! Felt immediately comfortable, from owner Cassandra’s welcoming smile (and cool drink) to the accomodation with a lovely balance of spaces and furniture inside the barn. Very comfy bed. Red facade is perfect too. The only detraction was some dodgy wifi which the owner has taken definite steps to rectify since.
- Simon (10/5): -
- Benny (5/5): - ? Its just a double garage at the back of someones house, dusty no television...nice but tired.
Had to ask for milk, tea bags etc.
- Lilly (8/5): lovely and peaceful - was very pretty :) and the main house has cute dogs we really loved (they are sealed away)
- ANGELA (8/5): great stay excellent location - lovely property, host lovely, very handy location
- Kerrie (5/5): Relaxing as I just went to bed early - Location was great Was hard to find entry to actual shed
No wifi or password as said in booking
No curtains on glass doors, therefore you wake very bright and early
No Netflix etc
No normal coffee
- Claudinne (9/5): Perfect stay, great location and excellent host. - The description of the place was spot on. It was inviting, and the host greeted us with fresh water and mint from her garden. It was perfect for the hot summer day we arrived. The communication was impeccable, and the place felt warm and homely. N/a
- Michelle (9/5): Very comfortable stay, fantastic host, perfect location. Will definitely return. - Location superb. 3 minutes walk to Main Street.
Spacious studio super comfortable bed.
Delightful communicative host. Would have liked a roller blind over the French doors to make the studio really dark.
- Kim (9/5): The Red Barn met all our needs - great location - gorgeous decor and comfortable - very happy! -
- Livingston (9/5): Homely barn stay close to town. - The location was perfect and just a leisurely stroll to down town. The bed was super comfy and Cassandra our host welcomed us with a cool minted water. The barn was nicely decked out for a relaxing stay. No hooks or towel rail in the bathroom to hang our towels on. Apart from the small courtyard, there wasn’t much of an outlook.
- Joanne (8/5): Pleasant and ticked all the boxes. Our host was very accommodating and polite - No b’fast provided. We walked to a coffee shop
- Suzanna (8/5): Cosy and great location - Great location. Cosy spot
- Stephen (7/5): -
- Isobel (10/5): -
- Cath (10/5): Perfect Red Barn - The location is perfect 5 minute walk to centre of town. Beautifully quiet location. The redbarn is designed perfectly for a really cosy, comfortable stay. Nothing really, but I guess if pushed, i would suggest a tiny addition. A curtain to screen the door on the inside, making it even more cosy.
- Stefan (8/5): Comfortable unique character stay - Location and character of the property were highlights. There were a few things like the bathroom door know that could do with a little maintenance.
- Charmian (8/5): -
- Rosalie (9/5): Perfect one night stay in the heart of Berry. Easy access, Cassandra quickly responding to any questions. - Very homely, well located, clean Nothing. Everything great
- Kathryn (9/5): Cosy stay - Cosy room, cottage style furnishings, lovely courtyard, comfy bed. It was mostly all good - other little things didn't matter.
- Marjolein (8/5): Short but pleasant - Easy walk or drive into the Centre.
The barn was cozy and comfortable. We liked the decor. TV reception very poor, probably due to weather conditions.
- Miroslava (6/5): Right for a short stay. - Central and comfy bed TV and internet was poor, a bit cluttered (too many big furniture) which took the spaciousness of the room away - guess that’s personal preference.
- Michelle (10/5): - Convenient location, could walk to dinner. Comfortable bed, hot shower and warm room.
- Trevor (10/5): Exceptional -
- Dutton (10/5): A great couple of days - A beautifully converted barn in a very interesting location. Berry is a traditional Australian town with everything you could need in a couple of streets. Even cinnamon doughnuts, available as street food from 7.30 am!
- Steven (10/5): A cozy haven with everything you need. - Just so warm and inviting inside.
- Jason (8/5): Very good -
- Andrew (10/5): Exceptional - Very cozy but still spacious. Cute dogs too!

Very comfortable bed
Friendly dogs Poor reception on tv
- Alanah (10/5): Would definitely book again! - Right in the centre of town, made getting around very easy.
The bed was super comfy plus the air con was a great relief as it was a very hot weekend.
The host was communicative, prompt and very friendly.
As we were away for an event we couldn't travel with our dog but the hosts dogs were there to greet us on arrival and throughout our stay which was a lovely treat!
- Deb (10/5): Thank you Cassandra. We will certainly recommend your Red Barn to others and won’t hesitate to stay again if we are ever - It was private, comfortable with everything we needed and presented beautifully. Nothing
- Mahalia (10/5): Perfectly located to access all the delights Berry has to offer. Super quiet surroundings and comfortable accommodation. - It was close to the centre of town and on a super quiet street, with great parking. It is contained and perfect for solo (would also be great for a couple).
- Elizabeth (9/5): Really enjoyed it, and would recommend to others - Spacious size, charming furniture, location in town, nice glassware, sense of fun being in a barn style cabin. Lack of sound proofing on the front barn door wall so that you heard the nearby owners side gate squeak every time they used it, The tired looking gap-sealing tape on the inside of the barn door wall.
- Robin (9/5): Relaxing. Lovely host. - Breakfast - Not applicable Everything was good!
- Melnewc (10/5): Cosy Getaway - I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at the Red Barn. The location is excellent, being just a few minutes' walk from the main street, but also close to other local attractions and sights. Cassandra, the host, was so helpful, providing valuable tips and information about the local area. The Red Barn itself was cosy and comfortable. Nothing
- Amanda (8/5): Appropriately affordable as an overnight stay. - The bed was comfortable and was a nice quite location From the minute you walked in there was an overwhelming artificial smell which may have been cleaning product or otherwise. It was very unpleasant
- Stuart (8/5): Really enjoyed our stay! - Great location! The Red Barn has a lovely feel about it and the courtyard was lovely to sit and enjoy the private outdoors. Limited space in the bathroom, particularly using the toilet. The bed was a little 'squeaky'.
- Giselle (10/5): Exceptional - I loved the host, she was was so accommodating and such a wonderful person to speak too. Went out of her way to say hello and gave us amazing town recommendations. The barn was set up so nicely and the town is small, cute and lots of lovey cafes and shopping.
- Hannah (10/5): Exceptional - Highly recommend the red barn! Everything was exceptional and the host was lovely (bonus we got to meet their gorgeous doggies!)
Perfect place to stay in the middle of Berry when attending a nearby wedding Nothing
- John (9/5): Great overnight stay in the Red Barn -
- Lynne (9/5): Superb - The Ref Barn is such a cosy and eclectic place to stay and savour all that Berry and surrounds have to offer. The small patio offers a quiet place to sit and read or simply breathe in the fresh air.
- Helen (9/5): Great for a romantic getaway. - Walking distance to everything in Berry
- Selina (10/5): Great location, homely and relaxing - Everything. The host is absolutely lovely, the property is very relaxing and close to town centre. There is nothing you need and after travelling for work it is nice to have somewhere homely to come back to as your base. I can’t recommend highly enough There is nothing I didn’t like
- Sue (8/5): We arrived late in the afternoon, almost dark which was a shame. Had to leave early. - Location was good but the actual address was difficult to locate on the internet. Red Barn was not known to two other motels and we had to get someone to find the actual address. No milk , we asked for milk which was provided immediately .
- Dominic (8/5): Very good -
- Sophie (10/5): Exceptional -
- Silvia (9/5): Superb -
- Mark (7/5): Stay was comfortable however my preference would be for a drape on French door to cut out further morning light. Some li - Location, quiet & quaint coziness & private garden space. Friendly proprietor.
Met my needs for a stop over on a long drive. Interesting town to explore within walking distance
- Elizabeth (10/5): Exceptional - A wonderful place to stay, so comfy, the decor is absolutely beautiful, bed is warm and cozy, especially on the cold nights we had. Was close to everything. Would definitely stay if we went back. Highly recommended
- Lucy (9/5): Loved the cosiness of it all. - The barn was very cosy and comfortable and loved the warm feeling inside (was decked out in nice warm coloured furniture) the airconditioning was on when we arrived and it was a blessing as the weather outside was freezing. The accommodation is completely private to the main house so they you don't bother them and they don't bother you. There is a cute private courtyard with seating outside as well. The breakfast was tasty and vegetarian which was a good healthy option and we had this the morning we left. It was all good, nothing to complain about.
- Aimee (10/5): Exceptional -
- Brenda (9/5): Superb -
- Sandy (9/5): Just delightful. The most comfortable bed I’ve experienced in such accomodation. - Comfort Noises from effects of air conditioner woke me up.
- Steven (10/5): A comfortable hidden hideaway with all the comforts of home.. - From the secret door to the most minute detail, this was a fantastic property. We could live there! Despite the size, it felt like a complete home. Warmly furnished and tastefully decorated, we were instantly welcome. Nothing. It was perfect. We will be back
- Sharon (10/5): Exceptional - The location was perfect
- Ken (6/5): Hosts were nice but accommodation didn't meet expectations - Looked nice Concrete floor and draughts, and dogs barking early in the morning. Lack of information re lights, AC, local attractions. Shower pressure was very weak.

- Abby (9/5): Great location and place to stay for a night or two in Berry! - Excellent location - right near the main street! The host was very helpful, especially when we accidentally locked the keys inside! The apartment had most things we needed. We found a few lizards in the barn, which I found made it difficult for me to relax.
