• Stephen (6/5): We were disappointed with the quality of the accommodation that we paid for it. - The location The accommodation lounge was old and pilled and uncomfortable. Some of the cushions were dirty. Globes in some lights were blown. The pictures on Booking.com don’t match the property.

• Lisa (8/5): Great value for money - The apartment is a short walk from the town and beach. The bed was really comfortable and the apartment had everything you needed. There is a building site next door, so if you wanted to sleep after 7am it was impossible
• Marianne (5/5): Great location but needs some updating. - The location of the apartment is fantastic and you can walk to the shops, the beach and also the surf outlets which is so convenient. This means that you don't even need to take the car out during your stay. The area is brilliant with some lovely cafes, restaurants and nice walks. There is also a nice little park nearby which you can wonder through to access the town. There are also three major suppermarkers nearby which is so handy. I enjoyed the selection of herbal teas. The book exchange option is a nice touch. The couch is uncomfortable and also very worn out. The mattress on the bed also needed replacing is very uncomfortable. The bed also creeks a lot so every time you move you wake up. Perhaps due to booking from my phone I was not aware the apartment was pet friendly. We were not travelling with a dog but if we were this would have been more suitable. however there is a strong dog odour throughout the property despite the fact everything had been cleaned. The TV is not an updated smart TV so it is not possible to watch netflix etc. Also what was disappointing for us was the fact we had no idea the appatment was next to a building site and this impacted our stay. We had hoped to have a relaxing morning but were woken very early by builders drilling and shouting. I would not have booked this apartment if I had known this information upfront. I understand there is nothing that can be done about this but if people have the information prior to booking they can decide how they would like to proceed. Also another factor is the parking and if you have bigger car the space is quite tight and differcult to get into. We stayed two nights and we were disappointed with the accomodation.

• Gabriella (8/5): The apartment was very clean and had everything we needed and walking distance to the beach and main street. - The property was well equipped, and very clean in a great location. I think the bed was only a double and it was a little saggy.
• Tim (8/5): Location, location, location park and leave the car walk to the beach, park, shops and outlets - Prime Location access to everything only a short walk away. Park your car in the carport and leave it!! Unfortunately, no reflection on the property or the owner but building was happening next door and they were noisy before 7 every morning!! Although the temperature was only low 20s the apartment was quite warm, better airflow with larger windows would be really great!

We stayed over christmas and was able to cook and prepare food easily in the kitchen for family that visited Large bathroom with plenty of hot water in the shower. Couch was comfy for relaxing and the walk to the beach was easy. ample car parking space for a large vehicle. gardens were well kept no complaints from us

Bedroom smoke alarm light flashed green throughout the night - not enough to keep us awake, but noticeable

The apartment is located in a small well kept complex with its own car space. Everything was thoughtfully provided from kitchen essentials to milk in the fridge, spices, oils, serviettes & cling film & bathroom commodities. The place was clean & tidy being perfect for a couple. Bed was comfortable with plenty of pillows, sheets, towels & blankets. Nothing really to complain about, just be aware it's on the 1st floor so one needs to lug the suitcases up the stairs

As someone not used to induction cooking, I didn't realise there was a safety switch on the side of the cupboards to make it work. Some directions around that would have been useful

• Jennifer (8/5): I was attending a 5-day conference in Torquay. This unit was an ideal base for my stay. - Breakfast was not part of the package. But a toaster, electric jug and microwave were all provided, making self-catering straightforward. A variety of teas and coffee pods were also provided. WIFI was also provided, as was off-street parking. A power board in the kitchen would simplify use of the jug and toaster.

• DrewK (7/5): It was good value for money and a great location, close to beach and shops. - The apartment was clean and had plenty of room for two people. The bed was uncomfortable as it was hard and very low and made creaking sounds.

• Donald (9/5): Happy to go back again - A one bedroom flat on the first floor a easy 10 min walk to local shops and restaurants and the surf beach. You had a car space at the back of the flats and it is in a quiet street so noise level very minimal. The host allows dogs and this is a bonus. Replace the toilet brush as the handle falls off apart from that a great place to unwind.

• James (10/5): Location is impeccable to all your needs - Perfect spot for our visit - cycling the Great Ocean Odyssey. Everything was in walkable distance - event hub, surf stores and museum and dinner on the esplanade. Place neat and tidy, great shower, beautiful sunrise and quiet. Highly recommended

• Margaret (4/5): Location great but not clean enough - The location was great. Short walk to beach, cafes, restaurants. Some table and chairs to sit outside, there is only 1 swing chair so when a couple goes there is only room for 1 person to sit outside. It could have done with a better clean. Upon arrival the floors were not clean, ants on the floor and in the cupboards also in the shower. Some block out blinds would be good too. The glass TV stand was so dusty, so again a thorough clean needs to be done before check in.
• Ray (6/5): Giving further attention to some important comforts would help to make the stay value for money. - Close to beach walks and shops. Carport cover for car was appreciated. The apartment was clean and quite a good size. Sensor lights kept going off on the first night which lit up the whole apartment. No ironing board. No top sheet on bed and the bed wasn’t the most comfortable. Loud dripping noise outside of bedroom was torture on first night due to rain.

No Ironing Board could have been cleaner, needed to wash dishes before use.Shower looked like it had mould and needed to be freshened up.Security door wasn't able to be locked from inside the apartment.Hated the parking once in the spot almost impossible to exit the car.
• Holly (7/5): Fantastic apartment but it wasn’t cleaned properly - Great apartment, comfortable bed, fantastic location, easy check in and out. Unfortunately the floor was filthy and surfaces dusty, otherwise I’d have given it a 10/10. The floor was filthy. Thankfully there was a dustpan and broom so I cleaned it myself but this is obviously not what you want on holiday. I saw the cleaning person leaving as I arrived so either they aren’t doing a proper job or they need to replace their vacuum cleaner.

• Julie (10/5): Wonderful apartment for a mini escape - The apartment is clean tidy and functional. The bed is comfortable and there is a fan for the hot days! Lovely little space, perfect for a few days away. The only slight negative was the toilet seat was broken upon arrival, but that doesn’t take anything away from our stay

• Iona.5 (9/5): Spacious and close to the beach - Very spacious apartment with lots of facilities available. Comfortable lounge area with a large sofa. Lock box was convenient for beach days. Only a short walk to the beach front and restaurants. The mattress was a bit too firm for us.

• Tara (7/5): Cute and Quiet - It was cozy and situated in a quiet part of town, close to the shops. They offered just about everything you could need for the stay, including the coffee pods for the machine. We found the bed to be very uncomfortable, we woke up with very sore bodies in the mornings. The doona wasn’t big enough for the two of us to sleep comfortably, didn’t cover us completely at opposite ends of the bed, and no extra blankets in cupboard only throw rugs.
