Penelope (5/5): Good location but too much noise. - The location is great in terms of walking to the ski field gondolas. Also, the shops are good with two supermarkets and plenty of ski outlets. The staff were very accommodating of requests such as providing more coffee beans and fixing the wifi etc. Very good to deal with. We expected there to be some noise having read previous reviews. The apartment is above cafes and night clubs. The booming noise goes on until the small hours every night. What we didn't expect was the zero soundproofing of the apartment e.g. could hear people talking through the wall in the next apartment, snoring, etc. Beside each bed in a container of ear plugs! We also had the apartment people put tape around the windows as the freezing cold breeze coming in the first night made it difficult to keep warm and sleep. Also, the fireplace is out of action.
Adina (7/5): This would be a great place in winter - Location and layout. The loft upstairs is really cool for kids. No AC and hot weather. No screens on windows and bar below.
