• Jennifer (10/5): Great quiet, safe, and clean location walking distance to all that Tamarindo has to offer. - It was very clean. Everything we needed was there. Perfect size accommodations for our family. The locked gates provided extra security. The extra bed we requested was an air mattress that deflated overnight. The couch worked for my teenage son though.

• linda (8/5): We had a really lovely stay. Great value for the area. We had a wonderful comfortable time - Beautiful apartment. Very comfortable and clean. Host was super responsive and helpful. A pleasure to deal with. There was even a place to note suggestions which was lovely. Description is accurate, however worth sharing that there is a 15 minute walk to the beach/downtown area. For those not used to CR (like us) some of the walk is on roadside which is not paved and there is a bit of a hill.
• Lynn (10/5): Comfortable condominium with modern conveniences, a short walk to downtown! - The best asset of this place is Audrey, the manager! She went above and beyond to take care of us, including late checkout! The customer service was outstanding! The 2 bedroom condominium was a nice size, clean, and comfortable. It had all of the modern conveniences of home, great beds, great ac, great wifi, great shower, washer and dryer, and parking. The location was a short walk to downtown with tons of shops, restaurants, grocery stores and the easily accessible beach. The pool was warm and clean with loungers, shady areas and a grill. Also, the value was terrific!

We appreciated the welcome and exceptional communication from Audrey (the property Manager); the immaculate grounds and lovely quiet pool area and BBQ; safe quiet neighborhood a short walk from restaurants grocery stores etc. and locked gate, night security; the clean new modern spacious suite with full kitchen, the view of the sunset from our 2nd floor balcony. Liked it all!

• Amy (9/5): We enjoyed our time and would stay again! - Property was clean and had a good location. Pool was a nice addition which our kids enjoyed- it is salt water and reserved only for the units at the property, which is nice. To get to downtown area you could walk but in a busy street without proper sidewalks which, with kids, can be a bit precarious. Also parking at the property was a bit tricky as it was on an angle. Also note that although soap and cleaning supplies were provided, laundry detergent is not so make sure to pick some up at grocery if planning on using the washing machine.

Two separate sleeping spaces and a bath for each. The space is on a hill which made it difficult for my 82 year old mom to transfer on and off transportation.

• Hagit (10/5): Family vacation Tamarindo - We had a wonderful stay at this apartment. The location is perfect — tucked away on a quiet street but still close to everything. The building is well-kept, and the apartment itself is modern, spotless, and very comfortable. We loved the two-level layout and the beautiful view from the balcony. Each bedroom had its own private bathroom, the kitchen was fully equipped, the AC worked perfectly, and everything felt thoughtfully prepared and maintained. The hosts were warm, attentive, and helped us right away with every question or request we had. Highly recommended — we’d happily return. Everything was great.

Parking was a bit awkward with narrow sloped spaces in front. but not bad. and was very convenient. Neighborhood felt safe so i wasn't worried about it not being secured parking. I may avoid renting a car next time to avoid extra expense and all. But it was nice to have sometimes, so it depends I guess.

• Lori (10/5): We luxuriated at the pool or condo in the heat— so few people used the gorgeous pool. Then we walked to the beach for t - The Maravilla has large, airy rooms and is very quiet. At the same time, it is only a four minute walk to shops and stores and a six minute walk to the beach. All appliances are brand new. The staff was abundantly helpful. I would have appreciated more stainless steel bowls for cooking.

It was close to many restaurants and the beach. They thought of everything to make the stay wonderful! It would be nice if the shower head had adjustable pressure.
• Thomas (9/5): Definitely consider this place if you are going to Tamarindo, and ask Audrey for recommendations! - We loved our stay here. The appartment was very spacious, modern, well equiped and very clean. The doors close with a code lock, so you can self check-in when you arrive late, and don’t have to worry about losing keys. Good AC, great water pressure, very nice pool, well equiped kitchen. The host Audrey is always quickly available when you have questions, and has great recommendations. She put us in touch with wrss (wave rider surf school) and Pablo for a nightly turtle tour. Both were a great hit. Chill people who focus on quality, not your money-hungry tourist trips. Without Audrey’s help, we would not have found them! It is a bit out of the centre. It is a 15’ walk to the beach. Going back is uphill, but manageable. We were happy we had a car to go back and forth.
• Nathan (8/5): Definitely recommend MaraVilla when staying in Tamarindo. - The condo interior was immaculate and very comfortable. Walking distance to everything was acceptable. Great restaurants nearby (MariaJuana was excellent). Host was fabulous. Issue with the salt water pool and the plunge pool were not resolved during our stay. Attempts were being made to resolve the issue.

It’s conveniently located near the main strip with shops, restaurants, and bars within walking distance. The attention to detail really stood out, and I would definitely stay here again!
