• Shari (6/5): We were able to work around all the annoying things but we may not stay here again because of them. - Comfy lounge and beds No oven in the fully equipped kitchen Too many doorways without actual doors. (No bedroom privacy) No lock on bathroom door (privacy) If we had a large car there would have been no where to park except on the lawn The front entrance steps are a safety hazard - especially when arriving at night.
• Nicholas (6/5): Ok for a 1 night stay - Quirky Check in details apparently emailed to us, we never received them. Office closed so had to call emergency number and eventually got through to somebody who after 5 minutes or so of faffing gave me the correct code for the key safe back at the property. Lack of complimentary toiletries and milk after a long drive. Property is a bit tired and could do with a deep clean. However, beds clean and comfy and towels clean. No air con in bedrooms, only ceiling fans.
• Marion (4/5): Very disappointing! - Beds were good, comfy. Washing machine good. Plenty of towel rails in the very large laundry. Local real estate hosts were helpful & attentive. Cleanliness. Very limited in cutlery. No scissors. No large serated knife to cut bread. No soft spatula for teflon frypan, only metal. Other 2 large knives were blunt & wouldn't fit in the sharpener. Fry pan missing but was supplied quickly. Some crockery not washed properly. There was no microwave to speak of as it was a convection with no info on how to use it. One of the blankets was not clean. There was absolutely no side cupboard/drawers or the like in the single room, only an old robe. Therefore nowhere to put specs, phone, glass of water, a torch...because there was no lamp at the bedside. The exterior & entry was VERY unsafe, a long 'trench' across the entry door with uneven pavers over the top & no outside light for night time. I could report other things but too many to mention.All in all very disappointing!
• Tim (5/5): Not as Advertised. - It's a lovely house in a good location. Advertised as air conditioned. It isn't, apart from the loungeroom which is at the very rear if the house. If we'd stayed there in Summer, it would have been awful. No tea or coffee Microwave doesn't work properly. Threatening notes left all over the premises warning us, we'd be charged if we did this or didn't do that. Even a notice saying we'd be charged if we moved furniture!
• Kaylene (8/5): Great place to stay if you are looking for budget accommodation. would recommend. - Price on point & location great. Park the car and walk to town & beach. Provision of cleaning products for kitchen, bathroom & laundry a plus. No AC in main part of house. Microwave display does not work so it was hard to work out menu functions. No oven. Council Bin had not been collected so it was already full before even stayed. Attention needs to be given to fixing the holes in the lawn they are quite deep and not visible until you step in them.
• David (7/5): Great stay. Excellent service from real estate. - Close to the beach. Very quiet location. No Garages for car.
• Teena (5/5): Not happy. Very disappointing. And also with what I was charged is nothing to what was supposedly the cost of the prope - Main bedroom was very comfy Property stated it was air conditioned. Well not true. It only has one boxed air con in the lounge room down stairs. 2nd toilet doesn’t even have a light. Could not get free to air tv in lounge room. No outdoor seating area. Random beds and mattresses pulled apart and leant against walls. Very untidy looking. Vacuum cleaner just sitting randomly in a box in front room. Main toilet was disgusting. Last tenant evidence of being there. Laundry tub not fixed to wall. Could literally pick it up. No coffee or tea of any kind available.
• Kara (9/5): Loved Colleen’s Place, it was a home away from home. - Well equipped and very comfortable. Close to the beach and Emu Park town centre.
• Craig (3/5): We went up there for a netball carnival in Yeppoon and there wasn’t much options, and considering we were only there at - Large and roomy Musty smells in the lounge room, on the first night one of the neighbours was driving his noisy 4wd up and down the road till early hours in the morning so I got no sleep! 2 out of 3 beds were very uncomfortable.
