Guest Reviews
- Marie (10/5): Location luxury on a budget and spa on the balcony! So good! - Loved it! Comfy, walking distance to town , spa on the balcony was the best! Nothing
- Jason (10/5): Wonderful Anniversary Weekend getaway - Incredibly comfortable, quiet and relaxing. Daylesford Spa Villa 5 was a wonderful anniversary weekend getaway.
Conveniently close to the centre of Daylesford, you wouldn't realise it given how quiet it was. Nothing - it was fantastic.
- Amanda (10/5): -
- Kevin (9/5): - Beautiful Place, quiet location. Coffee Machine was problematic (minor issue)
- Bergerac1 (9/5): - Comfortable bed with plenty of storage space for clothes. Well equipped kitchen with good appliances. Nespresso machine is a nice touch.
Easy access and parking at the front of the unit.
Good clear communication by Dayget the agent.
Lovely view down the valley. Very little to dislike. Perhaps another power outlet in the kitchen and a few blankets for those like us that don't require doonas even in cold climates.
- Ripps (10/5): -
- Andrew (8/5): -
- giuseppe (8/5): - It was comfortable and spacious Not as clean as expected only surface clean needs a deep clean.
- Douglas (10/5): Very comfortable place to spend a few days. - The property is very comfortable. It has excellent wifi and the ability to connect to streaming services.
The kitchen is very modern with easy to use appliances.
The property is positioned among other properties so that it is completely shielded from the other properties ensuring privacy. While the property is only 1.5km from town, it is very difficult to walk (especially at night), as the path is quite steep and dark.
- Terence (10/5): We were very impressed and delighted with the property and hope to stay again soon. - The property was beautifully presented, immaculate and had everything a guest could possibly need.
Thank you making our stay so comfortable and enjoyable.
We will be visiting again as soon as we can, and will thoroughly recommend your property to family and friends We could not fault a single thing!
- Simone (8/5): Lovely secluded property with plenty of amenities for a relaxing stay. - Great location, quiet and yet close to town.
Beautiful green outlook from every window. Lovely cosy rooms, fantastic spa bath, good kitchen and very private. The Daylesford gift hamper was a very nice surprise. Minor things such as not having a blanket for the bed as an alternative to the quilt which was way too hot. Also would be nice to have a coffee capsule machine as we brought some pods with us.
- Debbie (10/5): -
- Janice (8/5): Comfortable & enjoyable - The layout & decor Thought would be closer to town centre
- Rachel (10/5): Quiet, relaxing, and self contained. Perfect for a quick getaway. -
- Brian (10/5): Magnificent and we will be back and I have already recommended it to family and friends - Na Na

- David (9/5): Great little hidey-hole if you're heading to Daylesford. - Groovy and comfortable villa in Daylesford with adjacent creek walk and short walk to town. Good heating! We enjoyed the kangaroos in the garden. Nothing.
- Zya (8/5): - The property was comfortable, quiet and a close walk to town. The gas fire place in the centre is charming and the spa bath was a lovely bonus. The only thing I didnt like were the pillows on the bed, they were very high and uncomfortable. I ended up sleeping with a cushion.
- Charlie (10/5): -
- Kylie (9/5): - I had a wonderful stay here! The accommodation was very comfortable and had everything I could have needed. The huge spa bath was an amazing bonus, and the bed was super comfortable — I slept so well. The location was also fantastic, just a few minutes from town, making it easy to explore Daylesford. Highly recommend for a relaxing getaway!
- Andrea (10/5): - Great location. Beautifully appointed. Perfect for a weekend getaway. Loved the spa deck.
- Diane (8/5): Comfortable and sweet - The location was close to town and quiet. The views were serene and natural and beautiful. The gas fireplace was a nice touch. The furniture was outdated and the couch was stained/dirty. There were structural and design issues (cracks on the ceiling, mould in the corner of the room, shower was so close to the door that the water sprayed everywhere as it didn’t have a shower door). Although it didn’t entirely impact our stay, it just made it a little tiny ick.
- Peter (10/5): Delightful accommodation with great view over Drs Gully. - Well appointed kitchen, comfortable bed and pillows, amazing spa bath and spectacular view down Doctors gully to the kangaroos! Nothing
- Nicole (10/5): A wonderful short stay - The property was perfect for a relaxing get away. Our stay was at the end of winter so we enjoyed the coziness of…
Reverse cycle air con (x2), gas heated fireplace and underfloor heating in the bathroom. Huge comfy bed with a variety of pillows including memory foam. Fully equipped kitchen. Medium sized fridge. The property could benefit from updating and upgrading the toiletries.
- Alicia (10/5): This stay was just what we needed so relaxing and everything you need at your fingers tips.cant wait to come back loved - Where the property was located was just magical. My partner and would have loved to stay longer. N/A
- Adrea (9/5): - The wifi was really fast, the bath was big and warm, the fire was cozy, and there were always kangaroos grazing out the back Nothing :)
- Linda (10/5): Memorable and can’t wait to do it again - It was quiet relaxing and very comfy Our stay was too short!
- Alex (10/5): Beautiful views and had everything you needed for a couple nights away. - Exactly like the pictures. Very homey and well set out.
- Louise (10/5): -
- Nancy (10/5): Very happy. - Everything it was a lovely property and great stay very happy.
- Su-fen (9/5): Absolutely worth the stay! - Absolutely fabulous!
For our first time to Daylesford - we couldn't have asked for better accommodation. It was centrally located in Daylesford and was within walking distance to town ( though, with the poor weather, we drove everywhere). Collection of keys was easy - from a lockbox using a code provided to us. Easy parking right at the front of the villa.
The first look at the villa was breathtaking - the views were beautiful ( we spotted a kangaroo!) and there was a welcome box with coffee/ tea/ sparkling water/ pretzels/ nuts etc awaiting us as well. Someone has left the heater on which was great as it was very cold in Daylesford.
All facilities were as the photos promised - beautiful, luxurious etc. And the bed! Can I mention the bed and the snuggly doona and pillows and heated blanket? It was heaven! I had the best sleeeep in that bed! I should have read the listing better - but there wasn't any WiFi available in the villa. Not a big deal as we had our phones & the unplanned 'tech detox' did wonders for us anyway.
- Genevieve (9/5): Perfect place to escape to - Quiet location, lovely views across the park with kangaroos laying in the sunshine. Bed is very comfortable, great underfloor heating in the bathroom which is handy for the cold weather.
You Don look into other units so feel very private. Nothing
- Wendy (9/5): -
- Larry (9/5): -
- Megan (8/5): - Clean and well appointed
- Michelle (10/5): A few days alone to recharge, go hiking and read all day - Lovely villa! Very comfortable and cozy on a freezing few days. The huge windows offering great views, the wildlife out the back all day, comfortable bed, spa, spacious villa that was not at all cramped and cluttered and was extremely clean…all within a five minute walk of restaurants and wine bars. Having to leave 😩
- Geoffrey (10/5): - Excellent location overlooking valley and kangaroos grazing
Easy walk to main street
Very comfortable with gas fire adding warmth and ambience Nothing
- Wendy (9/5): Superb -
- Heather (10/5): We had a great time and would be very happy to stay in the villa again. - Comfort and amenities of the villa. Quietness on the property. Easy walk to Daylesford Lake and the shops and cafes. Extended check-out given to us because of maintenance work being done on property - cutting down blackberry bushes behind our villa. A couple of items were missed in the cleaning of the villa before our arrival. However, when notified, the agent sent the house cleaner back to clean the grill in the oven. My husband cleaned the BBQ plate before we could use it. (i have Coeliac Disease)
- Russell (8/5): Very well presented - Everything need for our stay was provided including a welcome pack The aircon in the kitchen wasn’t working.
- Sarah-jane (10/5): Exceptional - Fabulous stay at this villa 4,
Comfortable bed, and when the iron broke, it was replaced by staff very very quickly in that same hour. So special to see foxes, kangaroos and Joey's and kookaburras outside our window most mornings. Best part was how quiet it was. Absolutely no road noise at night. Excellent, friendly people to deal with and recommended for a comfortable weekend away. Gift hamper on arrival was a lovely touch too. Thank you. Don't turn the air conditioner on too hot/high, it sets the smoke alarm off, which is mounted very close to it. It had to be that, we didn't cook at all while we were there, as we were with family all weekend and just sleeping there. The fire however, doesn't set it off which was great and very cosy.
- Joshua (7/5): Good -
- Julie (9/5): Very comfortable and met all my expectations. Great stay for a lone traveler or with a partner - Location was great walking distance to town centre. The villa was spotless and provided all the amenities needed
- Estilita (10/5): Amazing!!! - The place was clean and central. Enjoyed the complimentary wine and chocolates. Also loved the spa, electric and gas heating and amenities. Both rooms were self contained which was a big tick for us 😁It was awesome seeing kangaroos every morning and arvo, sometimes 10 at a time 😁 Apart from the kitchen needing some more lighting, everything was GREAT! Will definitely revisit 🙂
- Evan (10/5): Exceptional -
- Graham (10/5): Exceptional - Nearly Everything was just right Not enough power points
- Chloe (6/5): Nice - The location was ideal and the view was beautiful The actual accommodation is outdated lots of paint peeling of the walls we also had a rainy day and came back to water running down the walls creating a large puddle
- Therese (10/5): Perfect couple getaway - Everything was beautiful I put some olive oil in the hinges in the toilet because they were loud squeaky 😀
- Mike (10/5): Exceptional - Hands down, the cleanest place I've ever stayed in. It was exceptional. Everything, the place, the bed, the bath, the view, the bath.
- Natalie (9/5): Romantic and in a private setting - The spa bath The toilet needs to be fixed
- Jessica (10/5): Exceptional -
- Florence (8/5): Had a good time - It was comfortable and a relaxing place to spend a couple of days! The pictures slightly misrepresent the view etc from the spa and the deck, there’s a big power line directly outside and it’s quite scruffy out the front which slightly ruins the view
- Mark (6/5): Pleasant - Whole place just needs a make over , getting a bit old.
- Di (10/5): Most relaxing time spent in villa 5. - Location was ideal. Nothing!
- Deanne (10/5): Exceptional -
- Selina (9/5): Superb - Lovely villa, amazing view, great interior, perfect location, responsive staff The bbq was not clean at all, so couldn’t use.
- Lily (10/5): Exceptional -
- Victoria (9/5): lovely romantic weekend away - No neighbours around to pick in the windows not too happy with TV
- Dwayne (10/5): Exceptional -
- Adriana (9/5): It was just what we needed! - Love the quiet and peaceful location and has everything needed for a getaway. It took us a while to find the ‘green button’ to turn the fireplace on, but realised it was behind the bottom panel on the second day.
- Alexander (8/5): comfortable, well located, generally good facilities - Did not take breakfast Not enough crockery. We were three; if four had been there it would have been very short. No WiFi. TV in lounge room did not give us all channels.
Your welcome information gave page numbers for various elements..but there were no page numbers in brochure.
- Gary (10/5): Convenient and lots of wildlife - Echidnas and kangaroos whilst having breakfast, couldn’t be better. :)
- Heaton-lansley (8/5): Very good -
- Lucille (10/5): Exceptional -
- Ryan (9/5): Superb -
- Jacqueline (10/5): The best place in Daylesford. Quiet, serene and relaxing. - The place exceeded my expectations. it was absolutely stunning and I would definitely stay there again. Nothing, it was perfect.
- Abdullah1977 (10/5): Exceptional -
- Mihaela (10/5): Exceptional -
- Merryn (5/5): Tranquil but inadequate - The view of a vacant lot with bird life and kangaroos was lovely despite the blackberries. Less rules on leaving, a better bed, a heater with less sound and outside bbq lights that work.
- Bret (10/5): Perfect weather & perfect location - Everything was fantastic
- Angelo (6/5): needs wif for the price they charge - location no wifi , broken dishwasher , broken microwave
- Carpenter (9/5): Superb -
- Alex (10/5): Exceptional -
- Patricia (8/5): Loved it.. - We’ll set up and private. No wifi - no heating in bedrooms. No tissues in bathrooms.
- Crystal (10/5): So impressed! - Stayed for 2 nights. Beautifully decorated and felt homey unlike a lot of accommodations these days. Has everything you could possibly need; from a variety of tea options, to kitchen implements, candles for the bath, and even pegs incase you need to hang things up. Was really refreshing to see the attention to detail that has been put into the place for the best possible experience during our stay.
Not to mention, the outdoor open-air bath! Incredibly relaxing, we didn't want to get out.
Couldn't be anymore impressed with this place, I was eager to make a great review from day one. Highly recommend. Super easy check in and check out aswell, especially for us folks whom shy away from human interactions haha. Absolutely nothing to mention
- Katherine (8/5): Very good -
- Snowcrow (10/5): Exceptional -
- Jennifer (9/5): A well designed villa with some very nice features, however it must be kept updated to charge that much money - We liked the fact it had 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, delayed. Also the sunny deck and well equipped kitchen. The TV was old, needs replacing with a smart TV
The gas fire didn’t work so someone came to fez it, but it took ages to find the problem.
The lounge chairs were both very uncomfortable and need replacing.
- Ayoub (10/5): Exceptional - The space, the view, the tranquillity; just to name a few! The toilet seat
- Hilove (8/5): Very good - Very easy check in
Prompt correspondence
Great location
Cosy, well appointed cabin Was fighting with plants a bit LoL.
A few more "flat surfaces" in the bedroom & bathroom area would have been good, for putting bags on etc.
- John (9/5): Delightful accommodation, secluded location with great valley outlook with easy walk to town centre - Very comfortable accommodation, great design of the property, secluded location with great valley outlook with easy walk to Daylesford town centre didn't book for long enough!
- Michelle (9/5): Superb - Toilet sisteen kept running
- Jenny (10/5): Stunning, amazing facilities, our villa had it all & more! - ..we absolutely loved everything about our stay
..so beautiful, so well designed, so clean, the many heat options were wonderful & lots of surprise extras, (..the hamper was a fantastic 'bonus')
..there was nothing that could have been improved! ..only that we would have liked to stay longer!!!
- Kathy (9/5): Gorgeous villa well designed for a weekend of luxury and romance - Fantastic location with beautiful views.
Luxurious hot tub, ultra comfortable bed, well appointed villa with everything we needed to have a romantic weekend away.
Close enough to town to walk to.
It’s somewhere we’ll def come to stay again. Can’t think of anything
- Natalie (10/5): We had a fantastic stay! We would definitely book again. Thank you! - I rang the office when we arrived in town (we were a bit early) and we we accommodated right away. Check in was a breeze and we LOVED the unit! We stayed in several Air BNBs during our stay and this one was .... WOW! Spectacular! The unit was perfect, really. We loved that the unit backed up to a wildlife area. Just a pity the neighbors in Unit 4 were so loud. :(
- Karl (10/5): Magnificent and Refreshing - Being able to relax, kids free in a quiet place Nothing
- Hayden (7/5): Good - The spa bath outside was good. also good location. and good size place. Both beds were very uncomfortable, my partner and I kept rolling into the middle of the bed. the couch was uncomfortable. and we also found ants in the sugar. also was pretty disappointed in the price you pay and you can’t even get a clean fan couldn’t turn it on as the built up dusk would go everywhere. also a couple of times we came back to the house it had a bad smell that would go away and come back.
- Catherine (10/5): Exceptional -
- Darren (9/5): Superb - The property was quite private and easy walk to the town centre. Great cooking facilities if wanting to cook instead of eating out all the time.
- Alicia (10/5): Exceptional -
- Darren (7/5): Good -
