Guest Reviews
- Dale (9/5): - Great location, clean and comfortable, each of our stays have been great, we will be back again
- Rikki (7/5): - Location- walking distance to Southbank/river trails/malls. Comfy bed, kitchen was good size. Nice clean and tidy apartment, The drain in the bathroom was quite smelly. Lock box for key pick up was further down the street for collection- only one key which was niggly at times, two would have been easier!
- Hai (2/5): Poor experience - Location There were no hot water.
We reported to the emergency contact number provided. There were no response.
We have freezing cold shower.
Very disappointed
- Geraldine (8/5): - Great all stay for a weekend exploring Brisbane.
- Paul (10/5): Art house - Well located
Quick response to any issues Pick up of keys not super convenient when pushing a large case
- Chris (7/5): Great location if you are visiting Brisbane with family or friends. - Very clean & tidy apartment with a Great location, close to restaurants. The only frustration I had with the accommodation was locating the drop box in the dark. If I had arrived during daylight, it may have been easier to find. My suggestion would be to place the drop box opposite the building on Hope St, rather than requiring tenants to cross Peel St to locate it.
- Angela (9/5): - Collecting the keys from a lock box that was a block down the road
- Emily (7/5): -
- Jenny (9/5): Jenben - Very clean and location perfect 😀 The trains kept me up most of the night but that's something that can't be helped. Im a light sleeper. 😊
- Stef (1/5): Smells really bad, no holiday or homely feel at all - The beds were very comfortable. The location was pretty good, all within walking distance to South Bank, Arts precinct etc. The facilities such as pool and spa were good. From the moment we walked into the apartment, the smell was disgusting. It was like someone had just used the toilet after eating really bad food, and the stench had wafted throughout the entire apartment. The smell remained for the duration of our 3 night stay and was clearly coming up from the drains. Obviously, the cleaners could smell this too as they left the bathroom window wide open to air the place out. It did not help! Furthermore, the apartment had no holiday or homely feel at all, with chipped plates and mismatched crockery and cutlery. The couch is starting to fall apart, literally at the seams. The sugar sachets looked like they had been stolen from a local cafe and scrunched in the bottom of someone's bag before being placed in a container. Not even the basics like a small carton of milk, tea bags, salt and pepper (we arrived late at night so the supermarkets were closed - a cup of tea would have been great). The view looked over a massive concrete car park and train tracks. And, the screech from the trains late at night and early in the morning disturbed our sleep, even with the doors and windows closed. This place was definitely not worth the money we paid. We were glad to be leaving at the end of our 3 night stay. Very disappointed.
- Jodie (9/5): Comfortable, great facilities, good location - Lovely spot great spa and sauna facilities
Easy walking distance to everything
Comfy beds
Very clean The lifts broke when we were there- only 1 out of 3 was working for a period of time which slowed things down a lot, but owners were flexible with us leaving a bit late because of this
- Catherine (10/5): Perfect location to enjoy Southbank! - Perfect accommodation when attending show at QPAC, easy walk to show & dinner. Comfortable apartment, very clean, Comfortable beds.
- Tony (8/5): Very good - Location and affordability. There was only one key, and only one roll of toilet paper.
- Claire (7/5): Good -
- Daniel (10/5): Good property to stay for last-minute decision - Easy property to deal with staying down in the city for work clean respectable would stay again Having to walk so far for the keys for the lockbox
- Danielle (10/5): Exceptional -
- Searle (7/5): Apartment & decor nice, everything we needed but trains were noisy and checking in confusing - Building was nice, apartment and the decor itself was nice, and it had everything we needed. Was secure which was important as there was homeless and others hanging around outside of the apartment. Getting the FOB to the property wasn't straight forward. Arrived at the address but couldn't get in and hence no-one able to assist. Rang the host and then learnt that we had to go to a separate address to a security box to pick up the FOB and then back to the apartment. That part wasn't made clear in the instructions. Two sets instructions sent initially via email with links but they were conflicting. No parking available on the street, so had to park in a loading bay whilst all this was happening. Couldn't get into the car park because it required the FOB. Just not easy and wouldn't bother with it again if I knew this at the time of booking.
Once in the apartment it was nice and roomy enough for 4 adults but cleaning could have been better. There was fluff and stuff on the toilet and the bathroom floor, dirty marks on the windows. Not a deal breaker but there's definitely room for improvement. Also, the train that runs close by is very noisy. Something to be aware of. I think the price is a bit overs with all of this considered, and especially as the location is in a side street, not so close to Southbank.
- Nickie (6/5): Pleasant -
- Sandra (8/5): Very good - In a great location.
- Matthew (7/5): Checkin process and checkout wasn’t easy as it should be. - Very comfy beds The apt was very hot if blinds on balcony left open.
- Stephen (7/5): Good -
- Sarah (8/5): Great location. Around the corner from the museum, restaurants, South B and the Entertainment Centre - Close to centre of the city. Comfy beds. Not much communication in relation to where the keys are.
- Emma (10/5): Exceptional - Clean, tidy and in a great spot Nothing
- Ebony (9/5): Great stay and it saved us from a dangerous situation - The location and the place was so clean The lack of parking (not the hosts fault) nothing else it was amazing
- Dstephens (9/5): Great stay - Great location - a few minutes walk to the South Bank. The apartment is spacious and extremely clean. The beds were the most comfortable we have ever slept on. I was confused about where the lock boxes were and received no help from the concierge desk. I feel that the parking spot needs a sign that states what unit it belongs to and that it is a private spot. When I went to park my car, there was a sign marking the designated spot as belonging to another car. I took this sign down and parked. When I left and returned the next day, someone else had parked in my spot.
- Hannah (9/5): Easily accessible property with parking- a rarity in the south Brisbane area!! - Absolutely perfect location, so easy to walk to the museum, QPAC and Southbank for swimming and ferry access It would be handy if one of the king beds could be split into singles if needed
- Eleanor (9/5): Superb -
- Dennis (1/5): Bad -
- Jodi (7/5): Stayed for the location - Location was great Had a very musty smell especially in the hallways and lift
- Andrea (8/5): Very good -
- Janelle (6/5): Accommodation review - Location was good and the accommodation was good. Had a great time in South Bank Noisy, complex with getting the keys. Then had to call because the car space was used. But provided an extra 1hour for checkout. Did not see any details regarding what facilities, restaurants, events, centres etc we were near. When we asked reception something. They said they could not help because they don't service the unit.
- Cindy (7/5): Good - Location to QPac and Fish Lane eateries was fabulous. Comfortable beds. Picking keys up in a different location. Messy shared shampoo and conditioner bottles. No coffee pod machine. No hand towels. Noisy train tracks outside.
- Kerry (9/5): Excellent value, comfortable and clean, great communication from host. Would stay again - Excellent location , parking included. Clean and tidy. Only issue we had was the water was only luke warm. Normally wouldn’t be an issue with QLD weather but was a cold winter weekend.
- Shelley (8/5): Great location but not much else. You get your money but for your integrity, show your clients some pride - The location was fantastic, close to Q PAC Confused with keys and parking in car park as it had a sign saying ‘No Parking’ in the spot allocated with a rego number unknown to the guest. Also, we got locked in the stair well to go up one level as the elevator took so long.
The room was nice and clean, right next to the squeaky sounds of the Brisbane railway…
I expected for $391 a night it would have toiletries and a small long-life milk to go with the satchels of cheap coffee provided.
And a spare blanket or two in the cupboards wouldn’t go astray…
I also was very impressed by the ‘books’ in the entrance… boxes aren’t fun to read…
- Justina (10/5): Exceptional -
- Chervonne (6/5): Good location - Good size and new Hardly any hot water in the shower, property was clean but could still see marks on the walls and crayons under sofa, could’ve done with extra blankets
- Rosemary (6/5): Pleasant - Good location Picking up the keys from a property several streets away from where we were actually staying was a pain. As was the unclearly marked parking spot
- Zimma (7/5): Good - Great location! Getting access -took a phone call to get exact mailbox and the the number of the lock box - bloody annoying to be honest.
- Nina (10/5): Exceptional - Excellent from the time I made contact with Lucas to when we left. Memorable night with girlfriends. Collecting key there is a convenient shop right there couldn't you make a opportunity to collect from them
- Karina (9/5): It had everything we needed and was very comfortable. Would stay again. - We only really saw the apartment, that was great. The shower head needs some maintenance
- Andrea (9/5): Superb -
- Ann (7/5): Good apartment in great position. With a little more attention to detail it would be fabulous. - Excellent position in quiet but very central street. Good bed, decent kitchen, balcony. Good apartment - just needs a little more attention to detail. Difficult to pick up keys a few streets away on a busy street with little parking. Apartment is good and we'd stay again for the position, but cleaning was a bit slap-dash - there was a used paddle pop stick on the coffee table, shower area a bit grotty. No tea towel in the kitchen - and we were there several nights so needed one. No instructions/obvious password info on internet (which was there, we found). No hand wash for basin, or sink.
- Nabilah (10/5): Exceptional -
- Amanda (10/5): Just what we needed.. short stay for our family of 4 - Location. Walking distance to Southbank & Fish Lane.. very comfy pillows too soft for my liking but i always bring mine just in case.. Had trouble with free to air tv however owners super helpful and easy to deal with.
