Guest Reviews
- Peter (8/5): Suited us as we were attending a funeral. - Arrived in the dark and the number was difficult to find.
- Sonia (1/5): Dirty, unit falsely advertised. - DO NOT STAY IF CLEANLINESS IS IMPORTANT.
Not a house but a unit in a pretty dodgy set. We left and put in a complaint to booking.com. Owners refused to refund any money. Integrity doesn’t matter apparently. The cleanliness and the false advertising. Shower had not been cleaned …. Mould everywhere and other peoples hair too. Window sills directly behind bed heads were all cobwebbed and lined with fleas.
It was not conducive to staying.
- Sandra (10/5): - The location and for a small unit it felt very spacious. Had most things we needed Can't think of anything
- I-ting (9/5): -
- Andrew G Evans (2/5): Location and inside the property was ok, the overall surrounds unfortunately not great. - Unfortunately for the owner of this property the neighbours significantly impacted the stay. Both neighbouring apartments are smokers and in the close environment this meant that we as non smokers were impacted.
The more significant issue is one neighbour feeds the local seagull population twice daily (6.30am and 3.30pm) which is a massive problem. Seagulls (a lot) hang around the apartment all day (not great for your car that is parked outside) and start creating a lot of noise outside as a flock of birds from 5.30am onwards everyday.

- Natasha (7/5): satisfactory! - liked the location, really very accessible probably as basic as it gets
- Dan (10/5): -
- Dyer (4/5): - Location. It needs some TLC

- Katie (8/5): Extremely enjoyable stay 🙂 - The unit had everything we needed, was cosy, had a comfortable couch, and the Kingsize bed was amazing to sleep in very comfortable !! Also only a couple of mins drive to beach and everything we needed, also the security shutters were great in the morning! A very enjoyable stay 🙂 The only thing that was disappointing was the amazing double shower had barely any water pressure when both heads were on besides that fantastic bathroom
- Anthony (10/5): -
- GRAEME (10/5): -
- nicholas (6/5): - The Hot Water System only lasted a couple minutes
- Zoe Deec (3/5): Cleanliness 0, Location 4, Price = not worth it - The house has been renovated but needs to up-kept to a standard where it reflects what the owners asking price per night. I paid almost $800 for 2 nights which is nor worth it. The house is not professionally cleaned as shown in photos attached.
Location wasn't amazing but in a quiet pocket between 2 other units. The neighbours kept to themselves apart from the old lady feeding seagulls next door.
You could walk to the pier in about 25min down main st and plenty of fast food places around in a short walk such as the freeway where McDonalds,, Guzman& Gomez and pizza shop are or down the main road where many more selections are including Coles and Woolworths. After showing multiple photos of how the property was not professionally cleaned, I was sent a message staying it has been reviewed and it was just "minor and cosmetic". If you want to pay almost $800 for 2 nights, look elsewhere! I found mouse droppings where pots and pans were, the bench top was not even wiped down, shower has orange stains through grout throughout, mould in the washing machine, hair in the bed with an old silk fitted sheet that was old, the beds are uncomfortable and squeek a lot, behind the bed full of dust. The place wasn't properly vacuumed and definitely not mopped! We had to wear socks because our feet would get dirty walking around bare feet. The couch hasnt seen a steam clean in forever! It was just poorly cleaned and very disappointing.
No compensation was offered regarding the photos I had sent and we ended up leaving after the 1st night. Being a cleaner myself, this is not a standard anyone should be accept what so ever. The price does not reflect the unit regardless of being newly renovated. Get yourself better cleaners! A lot of reviews reflect these issues and nothing has been done about it. Book it if you're desperate at the least.
- Madonna (9/5): Beautiful location and facilities - Very good location, new facilities and spacious
- Melissa (8/5): -
- Vanessa (8/5): - The ideal base for those who like to venture out during the day and return to a restful home, just moments from the main strips and Coles.
- Zoe (7/5): - This is a comfortable small apartment for a short stay.
- Amy (8/5): -
- Greta (7/5): Great location and large apartment! - This was a great big space with large beds and laundry in a fantastic location. We were able to walk to Mornington and felt safe. Great parking and access was easy. Shower was amazing! Unfortunately the property wasn’t very clean. The back windows had mould on them in the bedrooms. We were left with a quarter of a roll of toilet paper and I discovered this and had to run down to the shops to get some urgently. The place suggested we could have a barbecue at the back, although the back Veranda was quite dirty and no barbecue was evident. This didn’t have us running for the hills could be a quick fix if it was cleaned properly and stocked properly to new customers would still book again because benefits far out way negatives.
- Maria (9/5): Very enjoyable with all the appliances we needed. Close to everything. - Spacious, clean, comfortable beds, quiet Driveway was untidy and dirty. Difficult to make a u turn at the end of driveway. Description says it is a house when we booked but it is a flat and wasn’t told until we received the code when we got there.
- Laelah (10/5): - Clean and comfortable
- Jean (4/5): - The shower was nice The beds were uncomfortable
Very old place with a bird lady next door
- Tameeka (9/5): -
- Sue (10/5): - Great location, close to shops and cafes. Comfy beds, washing machine and dryer
- Michael (7/5): Good Location in Mornington for a quiet stay - Good location to Mornington with Main Street being easy walking distance. The property was very quiet and offered loads of on-street parking as well as one undercover sport for our vehicle. Whilst the host wasn't there, he was pretty easily contactable and responded fairly promptly. Both the main bedroom and the eating area have walls with sizeable cracks in them which you would not expect for a place that is described as 'new renovated'. The shower is an odd set up in that it offers dual shower facility, but in reality in is hard to use as the hot water gets directed from the first shower once the second one gets turned on. Whilst we had towels, there was no face washers to use, however the facility did offer bodywash, shampoo and conditioner dispensers which was nice. The biggest disappointment was the second room bed. It was very low to the ground making getting out hard for older people and being of pine construction it seemed to creak a lot and at first felt like it wasn't going to support the weight of two adults....thankfully it did.
- Tamara (10/5): We loved our stay it was short but lovely - Clean spacious we really enjoyed it Not enough toilet paper
- Paul (8/5): -
- Elliot (10/5): -
- Amanda (9/5): Superb - Cooking facilities, washer/dryer, nice bathroom. Good location
- Gonmi (9/5): Superb -
- Susan (10/5): Exceptional -
- Anne (9/5): Host was very helpful answering our queries before we arrived. Really enjoyed our stay. - Newly renovated kitchen and bathroom were much appreciated. Excellent location for travel to Main Street Mornington, Moonlit Sanctuary and steam train at Moorooduc Station. Would have liked more towels per person and more sets of china, so can fill dishwasher for one wash on final day.
- Priscilla (9/5): Fantastic place to stay will book again - great recently renovated 2 bed room unit, excellent twin shower - will book again
Jas was very helpful for our situation and understanding lock box was a little hard to get into
- Michele (7/5): Great place however some attention to detail is required to make it exceptional. - It was central to everything, small place yet comfortable, practical and we would go again if a couple of things were addded. Elderly neighbour very friendly and hospitable. A little attention to detail needs to be included for a better stay. Salt and pepper is great to have available. More than 1 tea towel is helpful and maybe add a couple of extra serving bowels. We bought some salads to make with some steak and there was one bowl which was not great when we wanted to make a couple of different salads. Outdoor furniture out the back is too old and dangerous to use so we didn't as we didn't want an injury.
A front and back security door would be great to add fresh sea air to the place as well curtains (sheers) in the lounge and bedroom so blind could be raised and have some privacy. Flyscreens on front windows would have been great so we didn't need to share with flies! Also top sheet on beds is a must.
- Carlene (10/5): Mid week getaway - This accommodation was perfect for our mid week getaway. Jason was very accommodating and easy to deal with. Would book again without hesitation. Carlene
- Louise (6/5): Disappointing but can see possibilities for improvement - The refurbishments were adequate. The bathroom was excellent. The kitchen was modern and clean. Crockery and cutlery were fine with a couple of sharp knives. At no time were we aware that the apartment was in a sad looking row of 4 apartments. The outside was quite miserable looking. The kitchen required a set of glass tumblers instead of the mish mash of glasses.
The beds were a choice of low to the ground and very bouncy or high off the ground and quite firm. The bed linen, including satin bottom sheets and pillowcases, seemed a dubious choice.
- Tane (9/5): 👌 - Jason is a great host, place is good value and great location
- Bryce (8/5): Very good - Bathroom is amazing tho the 2 showers on at same time don't work so well
- Isnasabariah (10/5): Exceptional -
- Anne (8/5): Very good -
- Danny (10/5): Exceptional -
- Judith (9/5): Great value unit in Mornington. - Private and spacious. Good location. It was all good.
- Kirsty (10/5): Excellent value for money. Two very comfortable large rooms and huge bathroom. Will revisit - Fabulous location. Very comfortable beds. Needed a few more things in kitchen ie glasses etc. Also not a fan of satin sheets.
- Christine (1/5): Don’t do it. Laughable we paid $326 could have. stayed in Melbourne for $275 crown 5star. - Location to Main street was ok, abit far to walk to the beach in my opinion. Lots! Not welcoming and very misleading. It’s a flat people with residence living there.
When was this renovation done exactly and do they have cleaners???? It wasn’t clean at all. Outdated furniture wasn’t good, we bought a sheet to sit on the couch, coffee table dirty, kitchen dirty, sink had a used sponge in a mouldy rubber holder, microwave with food particles in it, previous peoples open food boxes in the cupboard, cutlery dirty in the draw, what coffee is that on the bench, every corner of the floor dirty and unkept, bathroom needs tile and mould cleaner it’s terrible, even the toilet paper holder was dusty, linen stained, you get the drift. I could go on and on. overall NOT CLEAN. There should be a refund. Security is very questionable. It was my birthday present to come to Mornington. Mornington didn’t disappoint but accomodation did.
- Kim (10/5): Loved the unit beautifully renovated great location would definitely recommend and will be back! - Very clean and fantastic location!
- Adelaide (6/5): Overall quite ok, but the sleeping arrangements let it down. - I liked the renovation, the kitchen and bathroom were great as was the AC. Terrific location, quiet and peaceful The beds, bedding and pillows were lacklustre. No top sheet and only a quilt was not comfortable and the pillows totally inadequate. The car parking is really a bit difficult if you are not a good parker!
- Sally (8/5): excellent location - The location and house was really good. Only a very short walk to Main Street Mornington. Jason was very good and prompt to deal with. The home was lovely and quiet. The property probably needs a few little items undated, linen and glassware but was still very comfortable.
- Monica (10/5): Very comfortable stay within close proximity to mornington shops & restaurants - This little unit was very comfortable for our little family. It was very neat & tidy & clean. It was bigger than your average 2 bedroom. Rooms were a great size and beds were comfy. Kitchen was big. It was also centrally located, very close to shops & restaurants and the main room. There wasn't much to do in the actual unit itself, but there was plenty to do in Mornington and surrounds and not too far from Arthur's seat enchanted adventure garden which was the main purpose of our trip.
- Liam (10/5): Exceptional -
- Fabrice (8/5): Very good -
- Wendy (10/5): Exceptional - It was extremely close to the Bays hospital that we were booked into at 6am.
The unit was very clean and practical. N/A
- Bradley (6/5): Pleasant - Nice fresh renovations big double showers. But could not get car in the driveway as it’s a unit and needs some attention.
- Yi-chieh (8/5): The location was great, it was convenient to go shopping, to the beach and nice restaurants. Overall, we enjoyed our sta - The location was great. The room wasn’t very clean, the garbage from previous guest was still there in the room. There were spider webs on the ceiling.
- Ben (6/5): Get way - It was in a good location The PowerPoint in the room with the heater is not very safe
- Krstan (10/5): Exceptional -
- Caitlin (10/5): Exceptional -
- Nicole (8/5): Very good - The apartment is really clean, we appreciated that the floors aren't cold during the nights. All basic necessities are available, though we did run out of soap on the last day.
- Paul (1/5): The accomodation was unacceptably bad. - The bathroom was the only thing that met expectations. The condition of the furniture, furnishings, bed, linen was substandard. The windows were filthy. The next door neighbor was feeding flock of seagulls - 100+birds make a lot of noise, smell and filth. The fitted sheets were satin / synthetic and there was no top sheet. I checked out early after 2 days. It was horrible.
- Katie (9/5): Superb - Very clean & comfortable little unit.
Thank you
- Justine (10/5): Exceptional -
- Marisa (3/5): Don't bother - Location
Tidy It may be renovated but it was far from clean. Furniture was old. Beds were very uncomfortable and bedding was well worn. One bed had a thin mattress and flat pillows the other bed squeaked constantly and kept everyone awake. Shower was dirty and the whole place smelt musty.
Also it is advertised as a whole house when in fact it's a unit attached to others. Very deralict outside. Very misleading we were ready to leave at 3am due to being so uncomfortable and for the price it was definitely not worth it.
- Michelle (10/5): Perfect little affordable cozy getaway in Mornington - So cozy and modern. Very clean and just a fresh lovely place! Nothing!
- Kaylene (7/5): Enjoyed our stay, and costs. Lovely unit. - Clean, freshly renovated, 2 bedroom. Easy to find and location. Just suggestions, to have something in the bedrooms to put your bags or clothes on.
Also maybe another chair in lounge with a soft cushion.
- Ford (7/5): Comfortable and well aligned to price - Location was good The kitchen lacked some basics such as a can / bottle opener; serving platter (to serve cheese or share plate) etc
- Emma (8/5): Very good - living room very cold
- Craig (8/5): Very good -
- Giuseppe (10/5): Exceptional - Really nice unit. Clean, new. Jason was amazing. I had a few requests, and he made them all happen for me. Close to shops and beach. Was very happy. We will be back
- Beverley (8/5): Very good -
- Racheal (10/5): Stay was enjoyable all the luxuries of home very close to shopping centre clubs and cafes nice quiet area would definite - Newly renovated great decor everything you need supplied close to shopping centre and close to other towns Nothing
- Matthew (10/5): Great place - Very nice N/A
- Karen (6/5): Property was very clean. Instructions clear. - Convenient to Main Street The beds were not structurally sound / moved when I rolled over when sleeping.
The property advert states house it was an attached unit. The toilet seat was very loose.
- Margaret (7/5): Good - Spacious and handy to township Recent renovations were poorly finished off eg shower - glass seals coming apart which we fixed, toilet seat with no fixed attachment and vanity faucet is the loose. Door hinge to washing machine very tight. Door stopper coming apart. Coffee grounds provided but no plunger to make Coffee with. Finally a cacophony of noise early each morning and at intervals during the day as the lady in back unit fed seagulls We still enjoyed ourselves there and would use the unit again but thought our criticisms would be appreciated.
- Leanne (5/5): Good apartment with all you need for a stay in a handy location. The beds and bedding were uncomfortable and cheap which - Close to Mornington. Large unit. Good sized lounge and bedroom
Clean. The 2 beds were uncomfortable. One had a very basic cheap mattress with springs and no padding. The other mattress was old and the frame was so rattly that when you turned over in the night it squeaked loudly and woke us up.
The duvet and sheet were cheap and pilled. The pillows were cheap and flat.
- Janet (9/5): Superb -
- Katherine (9/5): Superb -
- Vanessa (2/5): Not great for a family - The place was dirty full of spider webs and sheets were not clean and the whole place had a smell. Location was good, but that's about it. Not nice for a family.
- Rebecca (10/5): Needed somewhere comfortable and quiet and this place delivered! - Location was lovely, unit was quiet and easy to locate items. Very clean and the shower is amazing! Window furnishings made for nice dark rooms when sleeping. Very glad it was available N/A
- Amanda (7/5): Good - The inside The outside
- Patrick (7/5): Good - The place was renovated and nice. The communication was great, easy to find. The property felt quite old and cold. The neighbour brought lots of seagulls onto the property. Did not feel 100% safe.
- Dan (10/5): Exceptional - Bathroom and bed Low pressure shower
- Josh (1/5): Bad -
- Jill (5/5): Passable - Inside was lovely and comfortable Outside. Definitely substandard. Tidying up the courtyard would help.
- Dione (5/5): It was ok very basic & I do feel a little more attention to the above would go a long way - Location The property needs better pillows & beds should have sheets not just doona cover . We had a few cockroaches, also the lady that lives next door seems to have a addiction to seagulls.
A Nespresso coffee machine would be a great addition they are not expensive & at least can get a decent coffee out of it .
- Suzanne (10/5): So homely amazing shower -
- Mathew (8/5): Very good -
- Christian (8/5): Simple easy clean - Ease of booking and communication We were very happy
Thank you
- Max (10/5): Exceptional -
- Michelle (6/5): It was ok. - The shower. Abusive neighbour after nephew momentarily parked in driveway to offload our luggage. He did however apologise later.
Poor quality linen.
- Megan (10/5): great - everything we needed. very comfortable, clean great spot
- Sanya (10/5): Perfect -
- Rosemary (9/5): Superb -
- Lizhen (10/5): Exceptional -
- David (10/5): excellent place to stay and will be staying again. - very clean and neatly appointed.
immaculate bathroom and kitchens. nothing not to like.
- Jade (8/5): comfortable, clean and good location - neat little spot close to the Main Street. had everything you needed for a weekend away. seagulls in the morning
- Tracy (4/5): terrible - modern bathroom No aerial for tv, unable to watch free to air!
We contacted owner for assistance who told us to use apps! App Store on tv wouldn't load new apps. We tried calling owner but he would only text. He told us to buy HDMI from shops. We did this and plugged into tv and tv still didn't connect. The owner was not helpful or sympathetic at all. Owner needs to update tv & get aerial. The unit was very expensive and was between 2 permanent dwellers. The people in the unit next door would feed seagulls every day and hundreds of seagulls were squawking outside window and pooing all over our car! Owner also should update pillows as they seem to have no stuffing and are very uncomfortable! I would not stay here again! I'd pay extra to stay closer to beach and in a motel next time!
I would not recommend this property
