- Eliyana (8/5): - Really very good location. 5 min. walk to Pop Mart shop, where we bought Labubu. 25 min walk to Central station for bus transfer to airport and 25 min walk to Duomo. The grey sofa from the picture was not covered and was without any pillows. It was only one naked unclear mattress with spots. The air condition in the upstairs bedroom was not working properly. There was one other portable AC with a hose, but the hose was not mounted properly on the window. So it was not powerful enough to cool the whole mansard. In the bedroom upstairs was very hot.
- Doğa (1/5): Terrible - Nothing Although the property had agreed to an early check-in, we landed in Milan at 11 AM and had to wait until 1 PM just to receive the door code. They never responded to our messages. When we finally entered the apartment, the door wouldn’t lock, and they didn’t resolve the issue or respond until around 3 PM. The air conditioning in the room wasn’t working—it was unbearably hot. They said there was a fan, but it could barely cool anything beyond a centimeter. We couldn’t tolerate it any longer and ended up leaving the place.
- Tomasz (5/5): Znośne - Lookalike Gorąco w całym apartamencie
- Ania (3/5): Not recommended - The check-in location was far from the apartment itself – we had to travel there first, only to be redirected back to the actual place. When we arrived at the apartment in the city center, we found out the air conditioning wasn’t working. It was 36°C outside and even hotter inside – probably over 40°C, since the apartment was in the attic. We asked for two fans – one for the mezzanine and one for the downstairs area. After two hours, they brought only one. The heat was unbearable – it felt like a sauna. We asked to be moved to another apartment in the building, but that wasn’t possible.
We wanted to cancel the reservation, but around 9 PM, a staff member messaged us on WhatsApp offering a different place. In desperation, we agreed – not realizing how bad the location would be. The new apartment was about 5 km from the city center, in an unpleasant and unsafe area, near a bridge where homeless migrants were sleeping. The “apartment” turned out to be a converted commercial space – dirty floors, mold on the walls, and poor hygiene overall. There was also no internet, and the photos on the listing were clearly edited and didn’t match reality at all. Because of the location, we also had to spend a lot on taxis and Uber rides.
Definitely do not recommend. Extremely stressful experience, terrible conditions, and misleading photos.
- Chrystalla (4/5): Disappointing - The location The reception’s location it was different from the apartment’s and this information is wasn’t clear. Also, it was dirty. The staff an the reception were rude to us.
- Syen (6/5): Pleasant -
- Alexander (6/5): Great Location, but Poor Maintenance - The apartment is in a fantastic location, close to metro and tram stations, supermarkets, restaurants, cafes, and in a beautiful and quiet area. It’s easy to get to Duomo and Milano Centrale from here. We didn’t receive the check-in link as promised and had to wait outside in the heat for over half an hour while contacting support to get the code.
The apartment itself was in poor condition. It was dirty and unhygienic, with a dusty floor, strange odors, and visible hair left by previous guests in the shower and on the couch. The kitchen sink and washing machine were clogged. The host didn't even take the trash out of the bucket left by the previous guest.
Some essentials were missing, for example, there were only two forks and three spoons, no knives at all. Luckily the agency which works with this appartment called a plumber to fix the sink and he also brought knives. An iron and ironing board were listed but not provided, and the host ignored my requests for them, offering unrelated suggestions instead.
The photos on the app made the apartment look brighter than it actually was. While the location is convenient, the apartment’s condition and service were disappointing
- Salu (7/5): Good location with some sacrifices - The location was probably the main advantage of this accommodation. Well situated within a short walking distance from metro, bus and tram stops. Close to the central station and city center. Surrounding the location there are several restaurants, a commercial street with shops and several supermarkets as well. The price is relatively good for what's available overall, but of course it's Milan-priced.
The check-in is easily understood. The size and look of the place correspond to what is shown in the pictures, it's adequate for two or three people with one double and one single bed.
Thankfully the apartment has functional AC, definitely necessary in the heat of the Italian summer.
I didn't need any help but I'm sure the host is attentive to your needs and is available through Booking DMs. The apartment itself had several issues and a bit of a disappointing hygiene standard. Water pipes are blocked which created flooding and a flowback of dirt in the shower, there was unfamiliar human hair in several places, some previous guest's false eyelashes stuck on the wall, stained sheets and a general sense of cleaning being very superficial and rushed. I think some amenities were missing altogether (like the iron) but the old apartment doesn't have a lot of outlets to plug in appliances, and while it's not the host's fault, it renders some things completely useless, like the microwave or some lamps, without an outlet to plug them in.
While not affecting me, I don't understand why there is extra fee for a late check-in. The process is entirely automatic and online through a link - there is literally no reason for a time limit for guests arriving after 11pm but they charge extra anyway, which can only be interpreted as greed. Also, the opening and closing of the apartment and building doors requires data roaming as it works through an online link, so not suitable for someone without available data > this should probably be warned to the guests.
I would add that the accommodation management requires filling a prior form with your personal data and document photos (for all guests), something not common in all countries and not displayed on the booking.
