• Remco (8/5): Fijne plek om een paar dagen te verblijven - Aan alles is gedacht in deze accommodatie. Een leuk welkomst pakket stond klaar, water en wat lekkers! Ook ligt het aan de goede kant van het Algonquin park en in de buurt van een leuk plaatsje Huntsville (met Canvas brewery). Het adres ligt, zoals de meeste huizen (zo hebben we gezien) in Canada langs een weg. Die hoor je binnen enigszins. Maar ‘s avonds is het rustig.
• Jeff and Darlene (10/5): Our second stay there and it won't be our last! - This was our second stay at Our Place Up North. And it won't be our last. You couldn't ask for a better place to stay. The hosts were wonderful and the apartment was very clean and well appointed. Everything was labeled so there was no doubt about anything. There were many extra touches and the hostess was available for any questions and also made good recommendations for dining nearby. Plus knowing that we were celebrating our anniversary, we were greeted with a Happy Anniversary balloon and heart shaped candles.

The host really goes out of their way to ensure all your needs, big and small, are taken care of which makes you feel very welcome and the experience special. Nothing!

• Francisco David (10/5): - This is the cleanest best equipped airbnb we've ever been to. Debbie is super nice and responsive. The place has everything you could need and there are tags/notes on everything, so, it's easy to use/enjoy. Location is also great. There a lake across the road and many great trails in the area. Algonquin Park West gate is 25 mins away and Huntsville is just 10 min away. There's coffee, tea, cream, snacks and bottles of water. I hope we can can back in the future. So, for light sleepers, the road is really close, even though at night is pretty calm, if you are a light sleeper, it's something to take into consideration. It wasn't an issue for us.

• Jo (10/5): Perfect stay, everything you could possibly want! - We stayed here for a couple of nights before heading out on canoe trip in the park. Our Place Up North is in a great location- easy access to Huntsville and the local shops, cafes, restaurants etc- but far enough out to feel like you have some space and peace. There is a swimming lake just across the road (a few mins walk through Tally Ho) which we enjoyed one sunny morning. The apartment is incredibly well stocked and everything is clearly labelled - the lovely host Debbie has truly thought of everything. There are plenty of things to entertain you on those chillier nights- games and dvds etc, and a lovely private outdoor area with a campfire if you fancy stargazing. There was even a welcome pack with snacks and nibbles to enjoy when we arrived, which was a real treat. We could have easily stayed much, much longer. Thank you Debbie!
• Paul Weber (10/5): Außergewöhnliches, gemütliches Apartment zweier herzlicher Gastgeber. - Alles! Der Aufenthalt bei Debbie und Mike war außergewöhnlich und es war das bei weitem beste Apartment unserer 3,5-wöchigen Rundreise durch den Osten Kanadas. Wir haben einen persönlichen und sehr herzlichen Empfang von Debbie erhalten und ein kleines Willkommensgeschenk. Debbie und Mike waren gut erreichbar und haben sich proaktiv erkundigt, ob wir etwas benötigen. Die Unterkunft war sehr sauber und sehr gemütlich. Sie ist sehr detailliert und mit viel Liebe eingerichtet. Es fehlt an nichts und man fühlt sich wie Zuhause. Besonders schön war auch, dass alles innerhalb der Wohnung sehr gut beschrieben war (Anleitung für Licht, Küche, etc.). Zudem gab es hilfreiches Info-Material über Restaurants und Aktivitäten in der näheren Umgebung. Mit dem Auto ist man in wenigen Minuten im nächsten Ort und auch im Algonquin Park. Nichts, alles war perfekt.
• Riccardo (10/5): Perfekte Unterkunft - Eine richtig tolle Ferienwohnung mit wirklich allem, was man sich vorstellen kann. Das Konzept ist durchdacht und stimmt hier vollumfänglich. Die Wohnung liegt im Erdgeschoss eines typisch kanadischen Hauses. Durch die Lage an einer doch recht befahrenen Straße hört man ab und zu etwas Verkehrslärm, da das Haus aber ein ganzes Stück von der Straße entfernt liegt, macht das absolut nichts. Autos können auch direkt vor der Wohnung abgestellt werden. Neben dem großen Wohnzimmer gibt es eine kleine, voll ausgestattete Küche. Der Außenbereich glänzt mit Sitzecken, Feuerstelle und BBQ-Grill. Die Vermieter Debbie & Mike (schade, das wir uns nicht persönlich kennengelernt haben) sind wirklich um das Wohl ihrer Gäste bemüht und setzen alles daran, den Aufenthalt so angenehm wie möglich zu gestalten. Schon vor der Ankunft erhält man alle nötigen Informationen zum Aufenthalt und auch die Schlüsselübergabe (in meinem Fall mittels Lockbox) läuft reibungslos. Bis nach Huntsville sind es ca. 10 Minuten Fahrt, nach etwa 45 Minuten ist man im Herzen des Algonquin Provincial Parks, einen Badestrand erreicht man schon nach 5 Minuten Fußweg. Ich habe mich hier sehr wohl gefühlt und würde die Unterkunft sofort wieder buchen. 100% Weiterempfehlung!!!
• Alexander (10/5): Ein perfekter Aufenthalt! - Es ist so gut organisiert und die Gastgeberin ist super nett. Alles ist ordentlich und es gibt eine Menge Annehmlichkeiten wie z. B. eine voll ausgestattete Kühe, einen Grill, Snacks, einen Parkplatz. Es war wirklich ein toller Aufenthalt. Das wir nicht länger bleiben konnten, weil wir weiter mussten.

• Jennifer (10/5): - Truly wonderful experience at Our Place Up North BnB! From the moment we walked in, everything was so clean and organized, not a spec of dust in site. Even the cutlery looked polished! BBQ was clean, fully functional and prepared for us. A cozy and quiet home that has everything you need for a getaway that feels like home. Photos are true to images, bed was very comfortable with clean sheets, host & hostess were super kind, prompt to respond and helpful to suggest for local activities, if not, they do have a local guide book, followed by further restaurant suggestions. Home is good location, not far from hiking/activities/local stores/charging stations. Nice touch with little gifts for guests and snacks. Have already recommended to my friends who are planning to head up north! 💓
• Sonja (9/5): - Die Ausstattung ist fantastisch. Alles da, was man als Selbstversorger für eine gute Zeit braucht. Zum Strand über die Straße in 6 Minuten. Debbie war absolut herzlich und hat sich sofort um uns gekümmert, als wir ein kleines Problem mit dem Mini-Ofen hatten. Vielen Dank für die Gastfreundschaft. Wir wären gerne länger geblieben.

• D'arcy (10/5): Exceptional vacation place. Everything you need and much, much more - When I first entered i just stood there taking it all in. Amazing set up and hospitality! I appreciated all the attention to detail: a nice gift when you first walk in, an immaculately clean and tidy place, extra blankets seemingly everywhere, table games, a dehumidifier, extra water bottles, milk in the fridge, ice in the freezer, all kinds of coffee, fully-stocked kitchen glasses, dishes, etc., cleaning supplies, a great bathroom with supplies, and even a cooler bag for outdoors by the fire pit. Fire pit was clean and lots of kindling and wood supplied. Amazing Bluetooth speakers included, TV with streaming services and a nice fireplace. Even menus from nearby restaurants! Ceiling fans in the bedroom and living room. It was 35+ and very hot for the first couple of days and fans were all I needed to keep the place very cool. Big windows looking outside, easy parking. Communication with Debbie and Mike was prompt and easy. No problem getting the key from the outside lockbox with clear instructions. They checked in with me via text (through booking,com) each day to see how I was doing and if I needed anything. Absolutely wonderful! I was alone but this is also an ideal place for a couple Nothing. Loved it!

It was beautifully decorated and very clean. Everything was labeled and there were instructions for the appliances as well as menus for local eateries. The hostess quickly answered all of my questions by text and was happy to help out in any way with dining suggestions, etc.

• Lia (10/5): Comfortable - Clean - Casual Muskoka atmosphere. - Across from Tally Ho Resort. Lots of great beaches close by and accessible to the public. Everything you need with comforts of home and then some. Coffee, muffins, butter, jam, tea, yogurt, boiled eggs, yogurt and yummy granola, fruit, ice, electric fireplace, remote mood candles, WiFi, TV, Netflix, and Paramount. Nice outdoor space, BBQ, a fire chimney with a privacy fence. Ceiling fans. Toaster oven. Definitely would come back. Hwy 60 quite busy on Friday night and Sunday afternoon but quiet when inside.
