• raymond (9/5): Idéal pour visiter Londres - La terrasse et la surface du logement. La proximité de 2 métros. La déco, la bibliothèque, l'équipement électroménager, la communication facile avec William. La propreté des lieux et le confort du lit. Le système de "key nest" dans un hôtel proche qui facilite et sécurise les lieux. Nous recommandons ce logement ++ L'environnement proche ... le vis à vis de la chambre sur l'immeuble d'en face, certaines fenêtres ne pouvaient pas s'ouvrir mais il s'agit de détails qui n'ont en rien gâché notre très bon séjour. Ah si pour notre prochaine venue, un grille pain serait top.😉
• VALERIE (8/5): A beautiful place to stay - Very clean, very secure, large and sunny apartment with a fully equipped kitchen and a very nice terrace. Good shower, comfortable bed. I could even iron my clothes. Location was very convenient for me as walking distance from the venue of the event I was there to attend. The neighbourhood can be quite noisy at night because of the ambulances from the nearby hospital. These run any time of night and the siren is horrendously loud. But if you had a busy day you might still be able to sleep as I did. Also the blinds in the bedroom let the lights through from the building opposite which are left on all night but again, I still managed to sleep well. I found the air fresheners far too many in the place, considering how unsafe they can be to breathe. Other than that, the apartment is great and everything was perfect.
• Shirin (2/5): - The place was very tidy and clean, in a good location, and the kitchen was well equipped. The host was very responsive. 1. I was uncomfortable having to share a copy of our passport via WhatsApp. As frequent travellers to London, we’ve never been asked to do this by other hosts. I would have appreciated knowing this requirement in advance, clearly stated in the property policies, so I could make an informed decision. It didn’t feel right to be put in a position where I had no choice. 2. The key pick-up and drop-off process was inconvenient. Having to collect and return the keys at a hotel(10 min walk) made it difficult, especially while managing luggage. A key box at the property or someone available on site would have been much more guest friendly. 3. The biggest disappointment was arriving in London during a heatwave. The flat had no air conditioning, which the host explained isn’t common because summers are usually milder. Still, I would have expected at least two or three portable fans( there was one small desk fan available) to help manage the heat. When I raised this concern, I was told the weather was due to global warming and out of the host’s control. While I understand that, I was disappointed with that response. If you choose to host guests, being prepared for unexpected situations like extreme weather is part of the responsibility.
• Pei (8/5): comfortable stay! Netflix is a plus! - the apartment is clean and spacious! nice gesture from the host to allow early check-in! was able to catch some fireworks from the apartment during the NY celebration! key collection at another hotel - which is on opposite direction if we are coming/heading to aldgate east station; not an issue if you are heading to white chapel
