Guest Reviews
- Anthony (9/5): Beautiful countryside retreat. - Love the country setting and the magical songs of the Kookaburra in the morning. A brilliant place with Jonathan’s artwork throughout. Very well equipped with just about everything you need for a comfortable stay. Nothing
- Tanja (9/5): -
- Steve (9/5): Very attractive setting and well-designed accommodation with everything we needed. - Convenient to town but in secluded rural location. Nil
- Murtaza (10/5): - Surrounded by nature. Beautiful views. Breathtaking. Comfortable. Equipped with everything you need. Modern but has lots of charm.
- Hels (8/5): Couples Getaway with comfort - We enjoyed the view and how we could sit on the decking and watch the fairy wrens fly around and take baths.
Also 7 min from town centre.
Great location and not to far to the places we visited.
Also Easter Markets were on which was great. The oven didn't work properly, it just smoked us out.
Not much not to like really.
- Andrew (9/5): - Wifi / Internet connection wasn't reliable. Had trouble connecting at times
- Kevin (9/5): Gorgeous view, lovely studio, excellent host, close to town, we just loved our stay. - Virtually everything Wifi could be better
- Sally (9/5): -
- lawrence (9/5): Extremely enjoyable and wouldn't hesitate to make another booking given the chance. - Loved the beautiful spacious apartment with every comfort. The windows all around gave you the benefit of the spectacular views. We really also enjoyed sitting on the deck outside watching all the different birds visiting the bird bath and gardens. The last 1 km of unsealed road up to the property but it was worth it for the great location.
- Sam (10/5): -
- Stevie (10/5): - The accommodation was peaceful, spotless, and perfectly set up for a relaxing getaway.
Surrounded by stunning nature, it offered the ideal mix of comfort and calm atmosphere making it easy to unwind.
The space was thoughtfully prepared, with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The bed was cosy and the amenities were also great.
The location was fantastic: close to Denmark’s beautiful beaches, wineries, walking trails, and local cafés, yet still quiet enough to enjoy complete privacy. It made exploring the region incredibly convenient.
The host was friendly, responsive, and helpful.
We would happily stay here again and highly recommend this accommodation to anyone visiting Denmark, WA. It made the trip memorable and enjoyable.
- Hugo Raemi (8/5): - It's a very modern and artistic Studio.very spacious. The owner is very friendly and accommodating.
Quiet and private. The Toilet/shower is at the end of the building. In the night one has to go via the living room and kitchen to reach it.
Some spices for barbecue and coffee / tea would be appreciated
- Katheryn (9/5): -
- Daniel (8/5): - Grounds setting and scenery were lovely Unconventional room layout
- Magali (6/5): Very spacious and unique! - Very spacious, comfy bed and Jonathan was very responsive. Cute little birds all around! Whilst the bathroom and bed were clean, the studio was full of cockroaches and spiders. It’s country side living, but you shouldn’t find more than 5 in the space of an hour. It would also be helpful to disclose that the property is up a dirt track.

- Edmund (9/5): Thoroughly recommenced - Lovely setting with lots of space and surrounded by beautiful gardens. Really relaxing place with great facilities. Jonathan was helpful and accessible.

- Michel (10/5): Waanzinnig fijne accommodatie, midden in natuur! - Absoluut waanzinnig fijne accommodatie, erg groot, fantastisch bed, fijn zitgedeelte. Helemaal niets!
- Helen (10/5): -
- Phil (9/5): - Beautiful property and everything as promised We knew it was slightly out of town upon booking but had our own transport
- Wendy (9/5): - Beautiful location. Quiet and comfortable studio.
- Robert (10/5): -
- Kate (10/5): Magical bush stay just out of Denmark - The location was very quiet and peaceful and included all the bells and whistles required for an excellent weekend away. The heating worked well to heat the entire studio. The design and decor were modern and trendy and the kitchen well stocked with utensils. Jonathon welcomed us and showed us the studio himself and was on hand for any queries. The roof has a leak which we reported to the host.

- Silja (10/5): Exceptional -
- Robert (10/5): Exceptional -
- Greg (9/5): Superb - Kitchen and ability to cook, relaxing gardens, quirky but comfortable accommodation Ceiling fans would be more effective rather than one air-conditioned unit in such a large open space. Also whilst it refers to coffee making facilities, you really need to bring your own tea and coffee which was a surprise for this standard of residence
- Jacob (9/5): Great base in Denmark - Great location, peaceful and close to town
- Breadsell (8/5): Very good -
- Martin (9/5): great rural getaway - great spot in the bushland, very comfortable. rural location but close by to everything
- Kieran (10/5): Exceptional - Great Property
Helpful Owner
Good Location The only things that could be improved are a wifi extender for the living room and maybe some extra condiments/toiliteries
- Sally (10/5): Peaceful stay in a magical studio. - Anagama is magic. The studio is an amazing g rammed earth building with jarrah floors. The whole place is quiet and. peaceful while still close to town. The bed is very comfortable. We loved the peaceful nature and the birdlife. Johnathon’s art is in the studio and his crockery beautiful. It was a delight to use. Nothing!
- Christine (9/5): Superb -
- Mary (9/5): Studio had all needed for a relaxing stsy in countryside looking out towards Mount Lindsay…beautiful trees around prope - Bed very comfortable, plenty of space and quietness. Just a short drive from
Denmark

- Prudence (10/5): Wonderful - It was beautifuly curated
- Janine (10/5): Exceptional property we look forward to staying again - Beautiful location in a stunning space
- Leilani (10/5): Feels like a fairytale house. - This place is a special treat, and the surrounds are very magical. The only downside is that there was no door/curtain for the shower so I had to be extra careful about not splashing the shower.
- Mark (9/5): Jonathan, the host, is a really nice fellow. The building is lovely and the location is serene. - Beautiful peaceful location with lovely rural views across the valley. Nothing
- Suzanne (10/5): Exceptional - We had a great stay in the studio. It was well equipped and we were able to access a washing machine. The location was peaceful and quiet. Jonathan was a fabulous host and we recommend a visit to his studio which is full of his beautiful pottery
- Pete (10/5): Tranquil place to stay - We stayed in the beautiful and spacious studio with lovely view of bamboo garden and out to the distant mountain.
The kitchen is well equipped, including beautiful plates and mugs which were the creation of the owner. Tricky road surface access.
- Larry (10/5): All of the above - Exceptional contemporary artfully presented Studio accommodation in beautiful location, garden & views . Stunning- top holiday place we have ever stayed in the Southwest 🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩 Nil
- Yin (9/5): Superb - Not applicable for breakfast.
Not too far from the city. Bathroom, especially the shower area is not really organized and functional.
