• Bilge (5/5): - Die Wohnung wurde parallel zu unserer Anreise gut gereinigt. Dennoch fehlten Föhn und die Balkontür konnte nicht abgeschlossen werden. Leider war die Unterkunft nicht die. Angegebenen wohnung. Angeblich sei eine Familie in der eigentlich gebuchten Unterkunft hängengeblieben und müsse weitere Nächte dort verweilen. Wir wurden auf eine Alternative Unterkunft verteilt. Da wir nicht früher einchecken durften, habe ich nur darum gebeten die Koffer abzusetzen was mit gewährt wurde. In diesem Zusammenhang also kurz vor meiner Ankunft wurde ich bezüglich der etwas veränderten Anschrift informiert. Die lange blieb natürlich fast gleich, aber dennoch sorgte es für Verwirrung. Als wir gehen 18 Uhr endlich in der Unterkunft einchecken wollten befand sich die Reinigungkraft weiterhin vor Ort und wir haben. Und gemeinsam mit ihm fertiggemacht. Der Check-out sollte natürlich zeitgemäß erfolgen.

• Kamil (7/5): Good - The location is superb. It would be hard to count all the cafés, shops, restaurants, bakeries etc within 5 minute walk. At the same time, the flat is located on a quiet side-street which makes it a very peaceful place. There is a pier 5 minute walk away with a bazaar, restaurants etc which makes it a great place to go and spend an afternoon souvenir-shopping. The flat is missing a number useful everyday household items which every tourist let should have. The microwave is a big one. I haven't even realised what an essential device it is until I had to go without it for 9 days. Forgot to drink your coffee and it got cold? Would you like to heat it up? Too bad. Bought a kebab last night and would like to have it warm for lunch? More fool you, hope you like cold kebab! There is no dish drainer where one could put the dishes to dry up. Your best option is to dry them with a tea towel immediately after washing them. Only there's no tea towel. To the owner's credit, there is a dishwasher, but I hate those things as they don't wash properly. Tea towels should be available anyway. There is no frying pan. If you'd like to have eggs for breakfast, you can try to fry them is a sort of a low wide pot. But forget non-stick, the eggs will stick no matter how much oil you use. Then when you try to get them off the pot with your spatula you will end up ripping them to shreds and effectively turning them into scrambled eggs. Only there's no spatula. There isn't a single pair of scissors in the household. This is an essential item that should be in stock in any holiday let. There is a washing machine but to begin with there was no clothes horse to hang the laundry on. The owner provided one once requested, so to his credit - he is helpful and responsive. The toaster will burn your toast to a crisp on any but the lowest setting. Also, only the left compartment works properly - the right one only toasts on one side. And finally, the cleanliness could be better. The flat isn't filthy by any means, but there are cobwebs on the bathroom ceiling and the oven could use a proper scrub. To sum up, this flat would've been an 8 or even a 9, if it were properly outfitted with everything a holiday let needs.

• Sarah (9/5): Cute gem in the middle of Beşiktaş - The appartment is very well taken care of. The furniture is spotless. The bedroom was very quiet. Beds and pillows super comfortable. The kitchen is fully equipped, including fridge and washing machine. The bathroom is functional and clean, including super fresh towels in different sizes. Everything was working. The location is just amazing. You’re in the middle of Ortaköy in the center of Beşiktaş. The house has a camera surveillance outside the door so my friend and me felt very safe all the time. Everything was perfect and of high standard for a nice, budget friendly visit in Istanbul.
