Guest Reviews
- Victor (10/5): Very nice stay. Good location next to the underground and Madame Tussauds. - Only 6 min walking till underground Great Portland Street, 15 min by foot till Madame Tussauds.
Quiet area, with some small groceries store nearby. The shower was spraying outside the curtain and there was no mat. It is not a big deal, but it can be improved.

- Reet (7/5): - Good location. Clean rooms. Easy to communicate with the host. Grocery store nearby. The condition of the apartment is quite tired looking (looks much better in the pictures).
- Bev (5/5): Good location, needs refurbishing - Location, kitchen facilities We stayed here expecting the “five-star experience” that was advertised, and while there were some positives, the overall experience fell short of that claim.
On the plus side, the flat is spacious and in a good location with easy access to transport links. The kitchen is well equipped, and the instructions for accessing the building were clear and straightforward, which made arrival smooth.
However, there were several issues that impacted our stay. Cleanliness was inconsistent—areas such as the skirting boards, bathroom, and kitchen did not appear to have been thoroughly cleaned, and the floors felt grubby. Dusting also seemed to have been overlooked in places. The property itself feels like it would benefit from some upgrading and refurbishment, as parts of it appear tired.
There were also some functional issues: the curtains did not fit properly and the rails felt unstable, and the toilet flush was not working well. Overall, the accommodation felt quite basic and did not match the “five-star” standard advertised.
In summary, while the property has good potential due to its size and location, it currently does not justify the cost or the expectations set. We would rate our stay around 5 out of 10.

- Corina (5/5): Tegenvallend.
- Reece (8/5): Excellent property and wonderful stay -
Keuken is zeer compleet, top! WIFI is perfect.
- Alessandro (8/5): - Position, simple but clean, functional Not the best toilet
- Jared (10/5): Would highly recommend booking this flat due to its location near Euston and Regents Park. - Location was awesome close to Euston station and other tube stations within 10-12 min walk, bus stop right outside and a selection of shops. Flat was clean and lovely to have 2 bedrooms. Communicate with host and team was excellent. Highly recommended!

- RICHARD (7/5): A fine chance to expirience social housing set in the opulence of NW1 - The big bonus is its proximatory to Regents Park and the British Museam a refurbishment ?
- Sivey (6/5): Fine for one night but no longer - Overall fine location, but not well served by public transport (admittedly also busy in the city due to tube strikes). Beds were comfy enough, and apartment plenty spacious for 2 people. Its more like a 2bed maisonette than apartment since it's over 2 floors. my colleagues were not impressed with the overall quality and standard of the apartment. It was clean enough but in need of modernisation and felt drab. It was difficult for my colleagues to find the key box and they couldn't find the building entrance despite instructions. They mentioned the shower looked old and unusable. Everything needs a good scrub and updating. Hosts asking us for copies of our passports prior to check-in was odd and I did not do this - supposedly to "check it was a real booking" but I've booked through booking.com so how was it not going to be a real booking?
- Martino (8/5): -
- Paul (10/5): Top flat in a great location - Hosts were fantastic- really good communication re the property. Flat was in a great location beside Regents Park and less than 5 mins from the nearest station and a 10 minute walk from Camden with great facilities. Nothing at all. Would stay here again
- Sinikka (3/5): - Location near the park Dishonest to charge almost 400GBP per night and not be transparent that this accommodation is in a housing estate. This flat is run down, couch and carpet felt grimy, curtains missing so no privacy from a busy road, toilet seat about to fall off. It was not a nice place to spend time. This was a one star experience at a 4 star price and left us feeling scammed.
- Helen (6/5): Pleasant -
- Ariel (8/5): Location - Location Bathtub, no AC.
- Tessa (6/5): Pleasant -
- Keeli (6/5): Adequate for a short stay, but property is very worn and needs updating. - Clean property, very basic amenities (such as tea and coffee) provided. Very shabby and worn and in need of maintenance and update. Towels were extremely thin and we were only provided the bare minimum, lightbulbs were in need of changing, property overall needs maintenance. One of the pillowcases was stained with mold, shower room had mold along the ceiling and needs updating (the tub leaked and some of the sealant was falling off of it). The dryer made a terrible screeching noise when we used it. Improved decor and basic amenities (such as wall shampoo dispensers in the shower) go a long way to making a rental welcoming and comfortable.
- Ethel (7/5): Although the apartment was a bit tired we enjoyed our stay. - The location was very good with a choice of 3 nearby tube stations and bus routes. Easy access to the apartment through a front door at street level. It was quiet, although early morning traffic noise in front bedroom could be an issue for some people. Cooking facilities were good and crockery etc was clean. Having 2 bedrooms and separate bathroom from the toilet met our needs well for 3 adults. James the contact person for during our stay responded quickly to communications. The entrance to the apartment at the the back of the building was disappointing, having to pass other residents bags of rubbish on the common access balcony to get the the apartment was unexpected for a holiday apartment. No bedside light in the double bedroom. Lack of instructions for appliances. The expectation to reply to the hosts questions didn't work on the Booking.com website.
- Widmark (9/5): A comfortable night in London. - Close proximity to the tube stations. Good facilities. Everything you will need at home is available whether short or long stay. Very good for small families and group of friends. Only a minor issue with the toilet flushing weak.
- San (4/5): Disappointing -
- Davis (4/5): Disappointing - Communication with the host was easy - they were always replying timely and trying to accommodate requests. The beds were fine, and the kitchen was usable. Tube station is 6-7 min walking distance. The apartment is disappointing - extremely dirty carpets on the stairs, stained rugs in the bedrooms, broken floor boards in the entry, dusty floors, and dirty toilet. There is no air conditioning, and we couldn't plug the provided fans because there was only one electrical outlet in each bedroom close to the beds. So, if you want to plug in 2 phones to charge, you need to unplug everything else.
I would not recommend staying there. The pictures online are deceiving.
- Brian (8/5): All you need in Central London! - Location is excellent for easy access to Central London. Bus 88 is frequent, stops outside the block and takes you to Oxford Circus, Trafalgar Sq, Whitehall, Big Ben, Westminster (for London Eye etc) all in same route! Instructions for apartment were clear, timely and communication with the owners was excellent. Everything you need is there, good beds with comfortable bedding, plenty of towels and the kitchen is reasonably well equipped too. Numerous fans had been supplied which we were very grateful for as the weather was hot and evenings muggy. Would stay again, thank you. Apartment only has 1 loo, which is upstairs. It's typical for this type of property but didn't really affect us as we were a small group and it is separate to the bathroom. The infrastructure and some fittings are a little dated but everything is clean and in working order.
- Matthew (8/5): Very good - Good location, no issues checking in. Enjoyable stay
- Dr (10/5): We totally loved our stay. Looking forward to visiting again. - Great place to stay close to central London. Well maintained. All amenities were provided. Everything was very good.
- Rubiel (8/5): Spacious and complete apartment for a family of four. - We liked the accessibility and location. Really liked that the kitchen had averything we needed. The property worked for us. We personally didn’t like the smell of smoking from neighbors and we all had to take allergy pills everyday. Of course this isn’t anything that can be controlled.
- Sharif (5/5): Very average and acceptable for our overnight stay. - The location was good, but the directions to the property can be improved The property and unit is very dated and needs serious updating. There were extra pillows, but no pillow cases to ho with them. The floor planks outside the kitchen are loose and coming off - need immediate attention to avoid any accidents. Should install additional electrical outlets for the rooms.
- Bezae (3/5): Would not have stayed here if we had known this is a Council Flat (govt subsidised housing). - Location was central and apartment was clean. This apartment is a council flat (government subsidised housing) and the exterior/environment of the building (especially the corridors and back of building) is shabby and rundown. Paint is peeling and corridors are dark and unclean. The listing is not honest as this is not evident from photos - note how there are no photos of the exterior/building location on the listing. When we first arrived with my family and two small children, there were groups of men milling about smoking and staring. Did not feel safe. Lower ground floor consists of businesses, mostly empty and boarded up, a construction company with construction materials displayed in the corridor. Random cars and taxis frequent the lots behind the apartment. There is just a general feeling of unease and disrepair about the place, especially feel unsafe when going back late at night.
While there is nothing wrong with staying in a council flat, we had wanted a nice family apartment to stay in for the holidays and this is not at all what we had been expecting. The listing should be upfront about this so that people can make an informed choice when choosing where to stay whilst on holiday.
- Peter (5/5): Very disappointing. This property was not what we expected and is in a council estate that had police attend a serious - Spacious for London. Close to Camden and Regents Park and tube stations Property is in a block of council flats. Lights in lounge room were not working when we arrived, subsequently fixed. Television was unable to be used. Floorboards on entry, kitchen and lounge are lifting and are dangerous.
- Charlene (5/5): Passable - It was close to where i needed to attend on the evening. Needs some work done inside, feel more welcoming. Also felt a little uneasy with no being able to double lock the door at night. Floor in hallway desperately needs fixing as is a trip hazard.
- Sarah (7/5): Fine. Met our needs - Very easy, good instruction The flooring needs repairing. Blackout blinds in the bedrooms would be a good addition
- Stéphanie (8/5): Good place to stay - Well located flat with bus stop at the foot of the building, clean, comfortable beds, spacious, a couple of supermarket/minimarket nearby, helpful hosts, quiet
- Kirsty (9/5): Superb - Great flat very central location for all amenities only a short walk to the tube station, bus stop right outside the flats. Flat was spacious and comfortable. Having two bedrooms, meant everyone had their own beds rather than just just sofa beds that were typical of other properies, so everyone happy and the beds were very comfortable. The area was nice and quiet.
Hosts were very informative and helpful, so thank you for a very pleasant stay at your property. Only thing we found tricky was getting the shower temperature right!
- Beverley (7/5): Good -
- Samuel (8/5): Right next to Regent's Park - Great location right near Regent's Park, bus stop and underground nearby.
Communication with the owner was easy, answers prompt and friendly.
Great to have two beds in one of the rooms: good for families with teenage children.
The flat was warm and clean. The building itself is a little run down. The heating worked really well but radiator pipes were noisy at night and kept us awake -- probably easily sorted.
- David (9/5): Excellent Location and value for money. - Value for money in London, and very well located. Ideal for travelling with children. Dustpan and Brush, and welcome pack with the bins location etc.
- Teo (9/5): Superb -
- Menacherry (8/5): Enjoyed our stay. - Met our expectations. A bit of explanation about the apartment would have been ideal.
- Adela (9/5): Superb - Great location for visiting the centre and the Harry Potter studios also
Bus stop in front of the apartment
Great shopping opportunities close to the accommodation
Comfortable beds
Facilities in the apartment, ability to cook, make coffee, do laundry
Great communication with the owner
Exceptional price-quality ratio
Possibility to check-in at any time One blanket on the double bed 😅
Bad drain in the bathroom (easily solved)
- Max (8/5): Perfect location, very well equiped apartment - Nearby the tube a few minutes walk, bus stops in front of the door. Nearby the Regent's Park which was perfect with a little one. The apartment itself is basic and dated, but very well equiped! Everything we needed was available in the kitchen, beds were comfi and the hosts were friendly and reply quickly. Thank you for everything It is a bit dated
- Jamie (8/5): Very good - Easy entry and good host communication. Location was great, near public transport. Very clean
- Alberto (5/5): Good position but it’s in a council house. - Position. The flat is in a council estate. That was not clear from the pictures provided at all. The bathroom needs to be completely refurbished.
- Paul (10/5): Exceptional -
- Paul (7/5): Good -
- Eitan (8/5): Nice for families - Gave us extra from capsule coffee to ordinary
Washing Machine and dryer
Very spacious
- Rudy (7/5): Good - TV did not function, bathroom and bedrooms are rather primitive, double bed is too small - but overall is ok, as London is not the best place for comfortable lodging at reasonable price.
- Zia (9/5): Superb - 2 bedroom apartment with all necessary amenities. grocery shop near by. located on main road, euston Station 10 min walk and kingcross station approx 25 min walk. No housekeeping available. But not a big issue.
- Cameron (8/5): Good stay in nice location - Good sized apartment for a family of 4. A little noisy from the street noise at night. Also, it would be nice to have dark curtains to block out the street lights in the bedrooms. Overall we are satisfied with our decision to stay here and would likely stay here again if it was available.
- Amanda (10/5): We had a great stay and enjoyed our time here. - Comfortable, clean, and close to the park and public transportation. It was nice having some comforts as if we were at home. Nothing comes to mind.
- A (8/5): Comfortable and good communication from host. - Great location within easy walking distance to Camden (~15 min) & Oxford St (~30 min), and close to Regents Park. It was perfect for our trip - friends attending a gig in Camden. The host provided all the key information in advance so it was easy to find and access the flat. The flat itself was big and comfortable, with good bathroom & kitchen facilities (although we didn't use the kitchen). We couldn't work the TV/Firestick or the coffee machine, and it took us a while to find out how to get the hot water turned on, so an instruction folder inside the flat would be great for future reference. Also including a recycling bin in the kitchen would be great so that we didn't need to carry out recycling out with us.
- Yehudit (8/5): Very good - The location was very good. And the response time via booking messages was excellent The water pressure was weak and one of the rooms didn't have power socket at all
- Silvana (10/5): Exceptional -
- Phil (8/5): Very good -
- Neslihan (10/5): everything went quite smoothly. I’ll definitely consider staying again! - It’s conveniently located and well furnished.
