• Maria (8/5): Convenient Transit Stay in small Room for Small Comfort Improvements - We stayed one night at this accommodation in Porto Seguro for a quick transit, and it suited our needs well for its close proximity to the airport. The apartment was clean, and the check-in instructions were clear and easy to follow. It’s conveniently located within a short taxi or Uber ride to the city center, making it easy to find dining and shopping options nearby. There are a few areas where we feel some small improvements could make a difference. It would have been nice to have a bottle of drinking water provided, especially for a short stay. Unfortunately, the coffee provided was damp and unusable, and the coffee machine was clogged, which was a disappointment in the morning. Only dishwashing soap was provided, and we felt a small bar of hand soap would have been a welcome addition. The shower had a slight sewage smell, and while the AC kept the room cool, it was quite loud. The blacked-out window meant there was no natural light without opening the window fully—less ideal at night due to the lack of a mosquito net. We would have preferred a simple cotton sheet instead of the microfiber blanket provided, which was a bit warm unless using the AC. Additionally, some softer lighting options like bedside or ambient lighting would have been appreciated, as the lighting was harsh and bright. While not within the control of the property, a loud, distressed-sounding dog barked throughout the night, which did disrupt our rest. Overall, it was a decent, convenient stay, but a few small touches would have made it more comfortable.
