Guest Reviews
- Ponsa Martínez (6/5): -
- Anisa (7/5): Great location - close to tube stations; the unit was clean and acceptable; the host could be friendlier and more attent - The location between 2 stations is convenient and the neighbourhood is safe and lovely. The unit is on the first floor where there are 16 steps to climb up to and then 4 more steps when you are in the unit. This is absolutely inconvenient especially when there are big luggages to be hauled up and down. There’s no lift from the ground floor to the unit.
- wendy (6/5): Great location but has issues associated with older buildings. - Centrally located within walking distance of Earls Court and Gloucester Rd tube stations but without the noise. Owner was responsive when contacted regarding issues with leaking shower. Shower leaked as did the one above our anbn.
- Simin (8/5): Overall, it was a pleasant experience to stay here. - The location is convenient, safe, clean, and quiet. It is a 5-minute walk to Sainsbury's and the bus stop, and approximately 10 minutes' walk to Gloucester Tube Station and Waitrose. There is no lift available for people, only for luggage, which requires climbing approximately 20 stairs to reach the luggage lift. This arrangement may be difficult for individuals with knee problems.
Ajit respondo a todas mis dudas. Molt recomendable!!
- Izabela (7/5): - Dobra lokalizacja, spokojna okolica i ładna. Blisko do metra i sklepu spożywczego. Mieszkanie czyste. Dobry internet. Mieszkanie wymaga drobnych napraw konserwacyjnych. Na pewno nie ma 50 m, max dla 3 osób.
- Karin (9/5): - Tolle Wohngegend.
- Luisa (7/5): - La posizione sicuramente era buona, gli arredi nuovi cambio asciugamano e lenzuola abbondanti.cucina dotata do ogni confort abbastanza nuovo.
- maria (8/5): -
- Man Kit (8/5):
- giovanni (8/5): -
- Beata (10/5): Family - Close to everything, nice neighbourhood. The flat is equipped with everything you need. Agree with all the comments that are mentioned for this flat.
- EIRINI (9/5): Excellent stay - Excellent location, within walking distance of 3 central tube stations. There are restaurants nearby and a big supermarket (2min). The flat was very good and the host was most helpful with everything ( eg check in check out) and easy to communicate with. The lift was not working properly, as we were told, so it was a bit tiring to get up to the flat. It was possible however to put in it the luggage.
- Nancy (10/5): Good choice, stay here! - The location is great> near bus and tube stops/stations and a huge grocery store
Easy to reach from any London airport
Safe and quiet neighborhood
The owner is super response and answer questions quickly
It has all the things you would want and need for a few days stay - we would go again!! Not the owners fault but we were advised against using the elevator so if you aren't of good health be advised that's it's a few narrow flights upstairs and lugging suitcases or groceries or small children can be a bit if a chore
Again not the owners fault but his cleaning lady left us without toilet paper and the floors weren't super clean (it socks got black) so just be advised to wear your shoes inside and check that you have all the essentials before settling in (we had to leave to get toilet paper)
- Gui (6/5): Great stay for max 3 persons, the 4th person could not sleep at all. - Great location nearby Earls'court for buses and tube connecting to downtown and beyond. Nice cosy appartment for a max of 3 people. The sofa bed is broken on one side and this prevents you to have a good sleep. We asked the Landlord to fix this, He said he would come over but never showed up, pretending he couldnt get the keys. Then he said he would sort out a "kind of voucher for the invonvenience", but he didnt give anything. He even said that "it is very odd that the sofa is not comfortable because it was absolutely fine before", but when you read the comments of previous visitors, they all complain about the sofa. So this is bullshit. He takes no action so he'd rather stay silent. I personally manage a few airbnb's and have the experience of listening to customers.
- Vladislav (10/5): The best trip ever! - Nice and comfortable apartments close to the heart of London. 10 minutes walk to 2 London Tube stations. The place is very quiet, no alcobars nearby. A big supermarket is 5 minutes walk.
- Catherine (9/5): Superb -
- Camille (9/5): Felt comfortable - Location
& it was Cosy
- Claire (7/5): Great location, close to tube station, cafes and supermarket. - The location The sofa bed was difficult to use and uncomfortable.
- Denis (10/5): Great trip, amazing location and owner is very responsive. - For winter it was ideal as it was warm for the family and I have two small kids. Nothing for me.
- Leyla (8/5): Very good -
- Joseph (8/5): Very good - Good location to the tube station and the neighborhood itself was nice. Close to the Victoria and Albert and to a supermarket. The washer/dryer made a big difference for us as well. The pullout sofa bed was broken but we made due with an inflatable the owner had there.
- Miriam (3/5): The apartment has a potential. It wouldn't take much effort to fix things and clean it up properly. - Location 1) the sofa was very dirty, a lot of different stains. One can only imagine from what...
2) the floor has not been vacuumed and mopped for weeks, maybe months, especially under the sofa and bed.
3) broken floor tiles in the middle of the kitchen. Real risk of cutting your feet if not being careful.
4) broken litter bin
5) unstable/weak wi-fi
- Olga (9/5): Would come back for sure. - Small, but Very clean, conveniently located.
Ajit is very helpful. Will be perfect for 2 people traveling as a couple.
- Gundars (8/5): Very good -
- Xu (9/5): Superb - The location is great and I like the block. Recommend to stay
- Nae (7/5): Good - Very good location, clean and quiet area, close to public transport and grocery store.
You have good wi-fi, a Tv with some iptv channels, and almost full furnished kitchen (except for a cutting knife) The apartment is suitable for 2 adults or for 2 adults and 2 kids.
The sofa in the living/kitchen room is not very good.
We had only 2 sets of towels for 4 persons and they was not changed once during our 6 nights stay.
Also bathroom amenities (soap, shampoo) was mostly lacking.
- Luca (10/5): Excellent accommodation and efficient host - great location for visiting the city, south Kensington is always beautiful and quiet, the owner very prompt, punctual and effective in his responses. When i return to London I will definitely contact Ajit again the stairwell lighting could be improved with brighter bulbs. nothing special, anyway
- Jack (7/5): Good -
- Alia (7/5): Great location, but a bit of a squeeze for 4 people and not sound proof. - Location was great. Well equipped kitchen. Nice, well-lit and good water in the bathroom / shower. Very responsive host. Sofa bed was not very comfortable (also very little space left once the sofa bed is rolled out, especially with 4 people); could hear all the steps from the neighbors above which woke us up early every morning.
- Karmen (7/5): Basic and clean apartment an a great location - Neighbourhood is really nice and quiet. Kensington high Street with lots of shops, caffès and restaurants is 10min on foot. Hyde park, Science and Natural History museums are at walkable distance.
Check in was smooth and we didn’t have to leave security deposit of 500£ as it was stated in description.
They also let us to leave our luggage in the apartment on a check out date which was very convenient.
The apartment had everything we needed, basic cutlery, towels (very nice one), hairdryer… The building has poor sound isolation so we could hear the noise from the apartment above.
Lots of stuff in apartment are old, broken or not working- like the sofa, bathroom radiator is working but it looks like it would fall any second, chairs, pans are old, linen is poor quality.
Don’t expect to find oil, salt and other basic kitchen supplies. We didn’t have any dishwasher soap as well.
The good thing is that the huge grocery store is on 4min walk and it is working until 23h.
Also Itwould be nice to add few hooks in the bathroom.
- Alyssa (6/5): Nice location, very small place. - Loved the location! Very close to tube station. About a mile walk to Hyde Park. Very pretty area. Nice to have a washer and laundry rack. The TV never worked for us. Which wasn’t awful as we were tired most nights. The WiFi had issues. The bedside lamp didn’t work.
The apt was very small. We had a very cozy time with 4 people. Might work better for 2. Max 3. It is an old building and we could hear everything from neighbors.
The people below were super loud on 3 nights. Until 1-2 am! And the ones above, you could hear every step. The owner was VERY kind about all issues we brought up and did his best to resolve.
- Elsa (9/5): Superb -
- Denise (10/5): Our stay here was perfect and only inhanced our great times in London. - The location was wonderful and the apartment was excellent. Everything was great.
- Pavel (9/5): Altogether we had a great stay! - The host was very kind, the location is quiet. The apartment was brand new. The apartment was just refurbished, but some things like curtains and a window handle to close it properly were missing. There was loud noise coming from a neighbouring apartment on one night, but I guess there is not much the host can do about it.
- Shuwen (1/5): Worst experience ever on booking.com - Location was convenient, room was clean. The owner was incredibly unfriendly and provided misleading information. They told us a day prior check in that the lift was out of order and we explained to him that we had 6 large and heavy luggages so it would be unrealistic for us to carry them up to the apartment. Owner said it would be okay since the room was only 2 floors up. But when we got there we found out that it was actually 6 flights of stairs up and it was one of the highest floors in the building. We had no choice but to carry our luggages up the stairs and one of us even got injured in the process. After complaining about this the owner said that we were exaggerating about our troubles and did not reply to any messages afterwards. Many facilities are broken, including the oven and range hood.
- Hayate (10/5): Exceptional - Beautiful flat in a safe area in London: everything in the flat was brand new (kitchen appliances and utensils). The location is also great: many shops, restaurants and supermarkets are close by. I will definitely book again this flat for my next london trip. The lift was out of service but this wasn’t an issue since I didn’t mind using the stairs (it was only 2 flight of stairs to reach the apartment).
- Catherine (9/5): Superb - Excellent location - easy walking distance to Earls Court Tube Station. Beautiful building surrounded by streets of beautiful architecturally designed buildings. Really quiet and the living room overlooked a private garden. Very close to a Sainsbury to a supermarket. Walking distance to many famous tourist attractions including the Victoria and Albert Museum and the Natural History Museum. Maybe a fan- it was a very hot week and the rooms at night were uncomfortably hot to sleep in.
- Jake (9/5): Host was very friendly and prompt in replying to all our inquiries via WhatsApp. - Exceptional location! Nothing really to complain about the property!
If I have to find something maybe WiFi could have stronger signal for better coverage in the bedroom. Do not get me wrong, WiFi was working great in main room and in the hallway just in the bedroom signal was weak/low. This was from my kids who were complaining to me about it while we were there.
- Michal (10/5): Very nice location and very nice apartment - Absolutely great location
- Marta (10/5): Wonderful stay in London. - Excellent location in zone 1. Close to underground station (9min on foot). Close to Sainsbury's supermarket (5 min on foot). Quick access to all major London highlights. Very quiet and clean area. Cosy appartment fully equipped as in the description. Comfortable beds. UK socket but also many USB sockets inside. Friendly and helpful owner, Quick contact before and during the stay via WhatsApp. I highly recommend it.
- Robyn (7/5): A safe, comfortable base to explore London. - The apartment was clean and comfortable and the closet proximity to Sainsbury’s and Gloucester Road Station was great! The communication with the host/landlord was great and he made it easy for us, and was very accommodating. The only negative was the lift was not working but we only had to climb 2 flights of stairs with cases so not too bad. Also, there were 4 of us including 2 teenage boys and it was a bit cramped but not a big problem as we only slept there.
- Kuang-wei (9/5): Superb -
- Sid (8/5): Location and cleanliness are excellent - - super quiet at night (except that wall neighbours could be heard quite clearly sometimes)
- location is fantastic, near Gloucester Road tube station, there with the Picadilly line straight to airport or center
- clean
- owner very friendly and helpful via text little things, but…
- only one of the beds was made up when we arrived, had to do the other one ourselves
- no warm water at first, then realised that the boiler had been switched of
- no tablets for the dishwasher
- one of the two locks on the door didn’t work
- Jeanne (9/5): A great apartment for our stay in London! - This apartment is in a quiet garden block close to tube stops and with restaurants and shops of all sorts around.
The bathroom is roomy with a great walk-in shower. The entry way is a little dim with some construction going on, but it was quiet and safe.
- Daniela (10/5): Exceptional - The host was very nice and accommodating, we were allowed to check in early and check out late without any extra cost which really helped us. The communication was very easy, and we had everything we needed provided for us.
- Sean (10/5): This is a great apartment in a nice, quiet area close to public transportation. - The apartment is on a quiet street. There is a large grocery store only about a five minute walk away. The Gloucester Road underground station is about a 10 minute walk away which can then take you anywhere in the city that you want to go. The room was a good size for our family of four. The shower was very nice as well. We loved having a washer/dryer as we were on a two week vacation. The Wi-Fi worked well which was great for our two teenagers. We would definitely stay at this location again on our next trip to London. You do have to carry your luggage up a half flight of stairs to get to the elevator. When we travel to Europe, we usually have large suitcases that are heavy, but luckily we are physically able to carry them up the stairs. Other than initially entering the apartment with our luggage, we didn't use the elevator.
- Rute (8/5): Very good -
- Paola (9/5): great location and appartement, clean and the owner very helpful - the location, the style, well-furnished and very clean
our host was available and extremely nice, he found a solution for us to
leave the luggage.
- Hakan (9/5): Superb -
- Marilita (9/5): value for money -
- Julie (10/5): Would definitely recommend. More comfortable for single or couple; good enough for family of 4. - The location was great, in a quieter neighborhood, within a few minutes' walk from a grocery store, and also the Earl's Court tube station. It was a quick trip via tube to get to Westminster Abbey and the Museum of Natural History, and a slightly longer but not inconvenient trip to the Tower of London. While the host was very quick and helpful in responding to any questions I had via WhatsApp messaging, inside the apartment itself, there were no written instructions, or info on local places of interest (instructions for the washer/dryer, for example, or menus for local restaurants, etc, or how and where to take out the trash). None of this is critical, since I got all my questions answered via message, but all other places I've stayed through Airbnb, or Booking.com or VRBO have all had at least basic info in the home.
- Seow (7/5): pleasant stay - laundry rack and enough hangers for our laundry the lift is not on the ground floor
