• Petra Beate (2/5): So schlecht, dass ich sogar eine erste Bewertung schreiben muss - Eine sehr gute und relativ Zentrale Lage. Die Gegend ist such relativ sicher. Man kann in der Gegend sicher rumlaufen. Das war leider die bisher schlechteste Unterkunft die ich bisher je hatte… ich kann auch die bisher ganzen positiven Bewertungen leider nicht nachvollziehen…Ich hab noch nie eine Bewertung tatsächlich geschrieben aber hier muss ich es einfach tun!! - Die Unterkunft hat gestunken, das war wirklich übel… Wie alte modrige alte Möbel oder sogar leicht schimmelig. Ich hatte durchgehend diesen Geruch in der Nase und bin nachts oftmals deswegen aufgewacht, es war so unangenehm es hat sich nicht mal mehr gesund angefühlt…. Abgesehen davon haben meine Klamotten etc auch danach gerochen. Lüften hat nichts gebracht ausser dass Insekten reinkamen.. - Konstant irgendwelche Insekten im Zimmer (Musste mehrmals Kakerlaken entfernen (als Alleinreisende Frau) - Diese krasse Lautstärke….. Abends hat man leider die die Nachbarn nebenan und dazu noch die, die Obendrüber wohnen gehört. Und zwar extrem laut. Jedes einzelne Wort, deren Schritte und ggf. auch andere Dinge ;) Es war wirklich schlimm, bei der Lautstärke versuchen einzuschlafen…. - Die Möbel, die Ausstattung und das Zimmer wirkten sehr alt und benutzt - In der Beschreibung könnte man meinen man hätte die ganze Wohnung bzw den Hof für sich aber das ist leider nicht so. Man muss konstant die Vorhänge zulassen weil sonst alle die am Hof sind direkt reinschauen können

• Esma (1/5): le lieu est dégoûtant, sale de partout nous avons trouvé des cafards dans la salle de bain, passez votre chemin, de plus - la situation géographique était sympa logement sale , dégoûtant , des toiles d’araignées , plein d insectes , lattes du lit cassées , des choses renversées sur le sol, une odeur de renfermé, nous avons eu à faire à des cafards

• Julie (7/5): - The outside was nice, although the chairs were dirty. The bed was comfortable. The location was good for what we needed. The instructions were not sufficiently clear as to where to park. They didn't say that if you park on the north side of Whitworth (which way is north?), you will get a $63 ticket for parking on the "wrong" side of the street between 2:30-5 am. After paying more than $500 for the small room, I couldn't spare another $63. The water in the shower NEVER got warmer than lukewarm, making for a very uncomfortable shower. There are also no towel bars in the bathroom so there was no place to hang wet towels. Everything from the front gate to the chairs outside were covered in cobwebs, getting all over our things as we went to the unit.

• Indge (7/5): Good - Very safe area in a quiet part of town you could get a bus for $ 1.75 anywhere you needed to get easy parking and some nice places to eat and a good place to use as a base and explore the area ideal for a Single person and I will use it again suited me fine Property was a we bit far from any bars or taverns and very much living iin a residential area with real home owners and not a holiday resort where it's all tourists
• Kathy (2/5): Dirty & cold - Very dirty, especially the floor. This place does not have a kitchenette, it has a micro, & small refrigerator. There is no kitchen sink. Small, slow draining bathroom sink, not sanitary enough to do dishes. No smoke alarm. Cold, & after 3 requests the host brought a second heater. It took about 6 hours to heat the place to 70° F. Brrr. I don't understand how consider this place hypoallergenic. It's dirty. See above.
• Jeanette (6/5): The most comfy bed of my trip. A beautiful location. Affordable place to sleep for a short stay. - The bed is incredible. It was the most comfortable bed of our entire stay. Also, the location is great. This is essentially just a bed and ensuite room, which was fine for us as we were transiting between flights and that's all we needed for a short stay. But it would be easy to add a few touches to make it more usable for tourists. For example, a kettle would be nice. There is a coffee machine but no easy ability to set up and use it. No kettle means no cup of tea, and overall I thought the big unit could go and a flat bench set up could be put in for cups, kettle and microwave etc so people can sort themselves out. More seriously, on our last day we were told the building has plumbing issues and asked not to put toilet paper in the toilet. This really is not appropriate for a rental and the plumbing should be fixed before renting out further - people expect to be able to put toilet paper down the toilet. Overall, a few easy changes could transform this property into a more comforable and convenient stay for travellers.

• Sarvjit (7/5): Good - It's not the same as pictures spl outside it was not clean and cannot make coffee or anything there but it's quite place in back side of big house and key box was not working properly
• Riccarlo (10/5): Peaceful and relaxing in the nicest part of the Hill community - David is the greatest host. I enjoyed the spacious property it is simply the best experience for anyone hoping to take in Los Angeles the best in the best state for all around fun! I can't take away from this valuable community. It is peaceful
