- Amy (8/5): Excellent vintage London lodgings in a lovely area - A treasure of a place near the Columbia Rd, feels like a tiny slice of London in Victorian times. Spacious, nice views over the neighboring streets and rooftops, private, enchanting hidden stairway entrance. Even though we didn’t end up using it, we were charmed by the welcome basket of ingredients and instructions for making a simple pasta, along with a bottle of wine. Bathroom was a bit awkward, and communication with the owners wasn’t always smooth or easy.

- Haussetete (10/5): - L'appartement est très bien situé, dans un quartier très sympa.
Il est très propre et bien équipé.

- Monique (9/5): Great property in a lovely location. - Beautifully decorated and lovely furniture. Property was nice and warm. Beds were very comfortable and the bedding was good quality. The outside stairs were a little tricky but manageable. We found the front door lock quite difficult when we first got there, but got the hang of it during the stay.

- Amber (10/5): - It's a dream hutch in the trees. It feels like a hobbit house on entering. Then it opens up with high ceilings, sky lights, big soft beds, old functional windows, original wooden floors, I thought I was in a dream.
I'll be back.
- Hamutal Varsano (10/5): Magical - Super unique and full of atmosphere and style. Spacious bedroom and living room, fully equipped kitchen with a good coffee machine and complimentary bottle of wine. The neighborhood is great with coffee shops, bakeries, pubs and restaurants, and very comfortable public transportation to the city center. The narrow stairs leading to the apartment are a little bit tricky with heavy suitcases and not suitable for elderly or handicaps. There are also stairs leading to the attic.
- Caitlin (10/5): This beautiful flat in the Flower Market district exceeds expectations and shows you local charm. - One of the best vacation spots I’ve ever stayed in. The neighborhood is gorgeous. Stay for Sunday morning’s Columbia Flower Market! We had such a lovely time exploring the shops and restaurants nearby and you can rent city bikes easily. The flat has lots of charm and is beautiful. The hosts left us dinner ingredients and wine which was so kind and lovely.it really is a gem in a great part of London. Feeling so lucky to have stayed here! Nothing!

- Charles (10/5): Exceptional - Perfect location right by Colombia Rd but quiet enough to get a good night's sleep (even on market day). Quirky decor and lovely period features.
- Ann (10/5): Exceptional - Exceptional and beautiful home, into which a great deal of time and thought has been sunk. Honestly, it felt like being in another world. We went to sleep to the sound of happy, convivial diners down below (joy!) and woke to find Columbia Road coming alive with the Sunday flower market. The area is vibrant with two busy pubs within a couple of minutes walk, and it’s a ten minute stroll to Brick Lane or the nearest tube station. We loved the curated collection of photography books in the sitting room (we are big fans of Saul Leiter and thoroughly enjoyed looking through his retrospectives). The master bed is very comfortable, the bath is gorgeous and the efficient heating meant we were warm and snug all night. We loved it so much we have already booked again for next month! Do not hesitate to forgo the accommodation of the normal “tourist” areas and instead immerse yourself in this friendly and exciting area of London. We have no criticism at all!
- Rebekka (10/5): Exceptional -
- Roey (10/5): Exceptional -

- Tim (10/5): Brilliant restaurant lovely stay - The lovely lady that cleans and prepares the property
She looked after our bags in check out so we could explore Brick Lane
- Ashley (10/5): Cool London Flat hidden down a quiet cobbled street. - Loved the location as there was so much within a short walk. Pubs restaurants bars parks shops etc.
Columbia Flower Market, London Fields & Broadway markets all within close reach.
Beautifully presented throughout and some lovely touches like scented candles, candles, cooking ingredients and recipes left for us by the hosts, together with a lovely bottle of wine.
We loved it there and would definitely want to return next time we’re down. Wasn’t available for our next booking!!!
- Hayley (10/5): Quirky, comfortable, great location, a true hidden gem! - This is a little gem in a wonderful location. Sunday flower market on Columbia Road was a lovely surprise too.
- Annemarie (8/5): Gorgeous experience living like locals! -
- Ingram (10/5): Great location and beautiful place - Very clean, wonderful location, beautiful decor Nothing
- Coral (8/5): Very good - Great location lovely property Yellow stains on mattress protector. Heating turned off in the night and we were freezing cold
- Saskia (10/5): We had a brilliant time at Campania & Jones House, it had everything we needed and the location was perfect. - Lots of character, beautiful furnishings, exposed brickwork & especially cosy with the open fire. N/A
- Venetia (10/5): Superb - I felt a bit awkward picking up the keys and went to the bar next door first who looked at me as if I was an alien. Then tried the restaurant but felt a bit like I was getting in their way before they got that I was coming in for the key.
- Piotr (10/5): Exceptional -
- Warren (9/5): Superb -
- Rosanna (10/5): Wonderful characterful place - a really special place to stay. - A gem of a place. Everything was really beautiful. Flat super well considered and well equipped. Location is really special - right next to lovely Columbia Rd but still super peaceful. Would love to stay again and will be recommending to friends. Nothing - we were happy with everything :)
- James (10/5): Anazing little property tucked away in a beautiful spot very rustic inside but beautifully done would 100% return . - Everything about this property was perfect for what we wanted No bad points
- Katie (10/5): We loved the propert. - There were very few towels.
- Jason (9/5): It was wonderful - Stunning location fabulous ambience Firelighters and kindling would have been handy, or advice to bring your own. Hot water wasn’t very hot.
- Samantha (10/5): Exceptional -
- Alison (9/5): Superb -
- Sylvia (8/5): Very good -
- Cogan (10/5): Exceptional -
- Rebecca (10/5): Exceptional -
- Hildi (9/5): We had a pretty perfect stay: relaxed before a great gig and then stayed up late chatting with a night cap. - We liked everything! the decor was cool and quirky but it was also really comfortable. Coffee makers didn’t fit on the stove - we had to improvise.
- Caroline (10/5): Beautiful little house - This is a a beautifully designed flat, in a great location. owners are extremely responsive and we would certainly hope to stay here again. nothing
- Marion (10/5): Exceptional - We liked everything about this place, it's like a country cottage in the center of London.
- Rob (9/5): Joyful hideaway near the center of London makes you right at home - the location is a bit away from central London, but the room and amenities of this pied-a-tere made it a huge joy to stay. right above the owner’s restaurant, you hear the din of diners in the evening and the movement of the kitchen staff as the place starts anew in the morning. here you are part of the life of this small “village” of London. great pub right on the corner in the Royal Oak is the icing on the cake! showering a challenge as the water temp and pressure are unsteady
- Jacqueline (9/5): Only stayed the one night {wish we had booked longer}. Very comfortable, home from home . - Host Emma went above and beyond to accommodate our requests. steps to the accommodation were a little steep and narrow for my elderly mother. so someone with mobility issues would find it difficult.
