They were competent communicators and able to resolve matters very quickly with patience and diligence. Highly recommend staying here during a visit to Rajshahi, food and amenities are great and the staff are very skilled at handling locals as well as foreigners.

- Saidur (10/5): The best place to stay in Rajshahi - Undoubtedly the best hotel in Rajshahi. The place is extremely well-maintained, and everything feels well thought-out and planned. The rooms are well designed, clean, and very cozy. They also provided a complimentary fruit basket in the afternoon, which was a fantastic touch. They have a small coffee shop on the ground floor that makes fantastic coffee (I tried the white mocha, and it was great). The only Cineplex in the city is also in the same building (the entry/exit is separate, so the hotel itself never felt crowded at all). If I had to mention one con, the towels felt a bit harsh and could use some fabric softener — but it’s negligible.

They tried to charge more for the rooms than what bookings had offered. The staff could have been more friendly than hostile. They should have offered us the room that was in booking.com at the rate I booked it. They made excuses like its full - which wasn't true in the end.
- Jonathan (1/5): Dangerous Security Problem / Bad Service - বিপজ্জনক সমস্যা / খারাপ সেবা - Last weekend my family and I stayed at the Grand River View Hotel. We had two rooms for two nights. In the middle of the second night, someone tried to use a keycard to get into our room. It woke us up, but we assumed someone just tried the wrong room by mistake. Five minutes later, they tried again... and it opened the door! Even though we had deadbolted it! I yelled, "Hey!" as loudly as I could, and they ran away. I tried looking in the hall to see who it was, but they had run away. I called the front desk, and all he could say was, "I'm sorry. I'm so sorry," but he could not (or would not) tell me what had happened. I tried checking on my children in their room, but they were sleeping, so they did not answer my knock or my phone call. Not knowing how someone got into our room, and not knowing if our children were safe, we did not sleep much for the rest of the night. In the morning, I spoke to the manager. Her supervisor reviewed the camera footage, and it was a bellboy and two new guests checking in. The front desk had tried to check them into an occupied room. The key didn't work, and the front desk again gave them a new key... to MY room! (Apparently, keys open the deadbolts, too.) And then rather than apologizing immediately, the bellboy ran away! And apparently the front desk staff knew what happened, since he apologized, but he would not tell me. I told the supervisor that I expect two things from a hotel room: safety, and a place to sleep. Since I got neither, I suggested that they should not charge me for my room, at least not for that night. Unfortunately, he refused. The hotel made a huge security mistake. They admitted the fault was entirely their own. And they did nothing to make it up to us. So, poor security. Poor customer service. I will never go back. You shouldn't either.

- Pritha (1/5): Horrible and not worth it! - Expect the location, nothing is good about this property. 1. Not at all value for money. A room that is not worth 3000taka, has tariff of 8000 taka. 2. Horrible washroom where flush doesn’t work! 3. Airport pickup/drop per room is 1500taka as per the leaflet kept in the room but charged 2000taka ! 4. For early check in it charges half of the room tariff but doesn’t give late checkout for 3hrs! 5. Very poor unhygienic breakfast buffet 6. Per bottle of water, it charges 150taka but you can’t take the bottle out of the room. Basically for filter water they charge 150taka! 7. Rude, impolite staffs and particularly the manager !

We had to wait long times before checked in. They claimed booking.com was wrong as check in time written @1pm. Breakfast wasn’t high quality.

- George (1/5): Bad - Location of the property is great. They were not giving the early checking facility, wheather I made a not while booking. After the strict voice, they gave me the room. The door lock was not working propery The tea spoon was unclean No soap provided in the wash room Dirty and hard towel provided in the washroom Room size is not according to the portal details The water of swiming pool is not clean. So dirty There are no lift and ashtraw in the smoking zone Zym, theatre and other facilities are no available for common guests

- Chowdhury (3/5): Hotel in Rajshahi. - Food, location and views. I booked for two deluxe king room. Plaid accordingly. But they allotted me one deluxe king room and one only deluxe room. The safety locker was not available in one room and another one wasn't working. There was bad smell in the toilet. Commod flush was so hard to push. Moreover, as I knew, the Landry bag is used to dispose used dirty clothes and it's free of cost, but they charged for it.
