功宜 (1/5): Bad - PLS READ CAREFULLY IF YOU CONSIDER TO BOOK THIS APARTMENT! Highly **NOT** recommended to stay in this apartment. The entire process and experience from booking to check-in were extremely painful. First of all, during the booking process, the host deliberately hid the cleaning fee, which was as high as nearly AUD 200. After booking, we discovered this unreasonable cleaning fee and immediately contacted the host to ask if we could cancel. At that time, it was still within the 14-day cancellation policy, but the host did not clearly inform us of the cancellation rules. It was only after the cancellation period had passed that they told us we couldn't cancel. We only stayed for one night, so the cleaning fee was almost the same as the room rate, which was extremely unreasonable. When trying to contact the host for check-in details, they only provided a little information at a time and never gave complete information all at once. The night before check-in, they even required us to provide full credit card details, a copy of our passports, as well as the gender and age of each guest. We expressed our concerns about providing credit card and passport copies due to the high risk involved, but the host insisted that we would not be able to check in unless we provided them. Reluctantly, we complied. The apartment had numerous rules that were simply unbelievable. Despite the high cleaning fee, the bathroom was flooded, and the apartment did not look as good as it did in the photos. What was most unacceptable was that after I returned to my home country, I discovered that my credit card had been fraudulently used!!! I had to immediately contact the bank to freeze the card. Prior to this, my credit card had never been compromised.
