Guest Reviews
- Guest (8/5): I really appreciated my stay here. The house was tidy, with everything in good working order. The stay was very comforta - Nice sheets and towels. Very comfy beds and furniture. Kitchen bench was marked and hadn’t been cleaned.
- Mee Lan (8/5): -
- Minh-Tam (8/5): - We had a comfortable stay. The villa is in a quiet neighbourhood and very close to the town centre. Hardly anything worth noting.
- Michelle (8/5): Good but needs more attention. - Clean inside, beautiful comfy beds, excellent location, easy check in process. The outside area was very poor.
Outdoor table was filthy, a number of bird poo running down the windows, weeds knee high everywhere, courtyard was very overgrown; it’s the first thing you see when entering and sitting in living area.
No blinds on the living area.
4 x unsealed green tea bags, 4 x coffee pods & 2 x sachets of equal for 4 people for 2 nights for $800+. Very ordinary!
- Lore (9/5): Nice - New, clean and functional
Location in town
- Anita (9/5): I would stay there again - It was a good villa There was not much not to like
- Guest (9/5): -
- Maryann (3/5): - Single ply toilet paper. Lack of window coverings. No black tea. No milk. No tissues.
- Newport (8/5): -
- Rohan (4/5): Nice place, we just got it after the cleaner had a bad day. - Location fantastic and facilities good Property insufficiently cleaned after last guests. Crumbs all over floor and a sock discovered in our bed suggesting the sheets hadn't been changed.
- Julie-anne (7/5): Short but good. - Most things Early checkout - surely 11.00am on a Sunday and not 10 am is acceptable. We followed the rules but will look for a 11 am checkout.
Had an issue accessing room as for some reason code changed from first access. Sorted out . Thank goodness, there was a contact number and someone answered the phone ...but inconvenient.
- Lynn (7/5): Nice villa for families in convenient location - Convenient location in the heart of town. Clean and well maintained. Spacious enough for families. Hard to locate at night (entrance signage was not prominent). Accessibility is restricted if a car parks along the driveway leading to the villas (someone from the town council parked at the entrance and we couldn’t drive out).
No hand towels at L2.
- Wade (10/5): Exceptional -
- Vaughan (8/5): Great, but with the things missing was a little disappointing for the cost. - Positioning to town and it was very clean. Tastefully decorated and well set out. Size was great. No curtains at the stairs well or kitchen/lounge area. No flannels. No TV’s in the bedrooms. No milk for coffee. Toilet paper was atrocious.
- Janet (7/5): Good aspects but also some problems - The viia is perfectly situated for exploring Trentham. It has an excellent kitchen, comfortable beds and pleasing decor. We enjoyed the peaceful location. On the understanding that the villa was owned/managed by Hotel Trentham, we went there upon arrival. The young lady behind the bar said that there was no real connection and we should follow the instructions in an email that we should have received. That email turned out to contain the door code and some limited information.
The initial good impression of the property was spoiled by a number of problems -
* slow internet on the first afternoon turned into no internet for the rest of the weekend
* no blinds on the large sliding doors in the living area meant that the room overheated throughout the day
* the luggage rack in the back bedroom was broken
* sponges and dish cloths under the kitchen sink were used and stained.
The only point of contact with a host was a mobile number for text messages but only in the case of an emergency. This meant that none of our issues with the property could be reported or resolved.
- Eswar (10/5): Exceptional -
- Julie (9/5): Lovely accommodation in a lovely part of Victoria! - Location right in Trentham. Quiet, off the Main Street. Very much enjoyed my stay. Hosts were very helpful.
- Emmy (9/5): A pleasant stay close to the main street of Trentham - Modern and comfortable. Full kitchen and laundry facilities.
Fantastic location. The villas were behind Hotel Trentham and entry was on a side street. There could be better signage.
There was no water or milk in the fridge (coffee and tea were available however).
No air con in the bedrooms upstairs. There should be at least ceiling fans to cool the rooms on a hot evening.
- Luke (10/5): Exceptional -
- Tronics (8/5): Very good -
- Rebecca (10/5): Exceptional - Great position and everything was clean and comfortable Court yard to do with some work
- Paul (10/5): Exceptional -
- Susan (9/5): Very comfortable well positioned two bedroom villas with 3 bathrooms and an outside courtyard. - The villas are set up very well for two couples, each with a spacious bedroom and bathroom upstairs, a dining, and living area, laundry and third toilet downstairs. It's in a great location, round the corner from the main street. We were two families staying in Villas 1 and 2 and liked the gate that opened between the courtyards at the back so we could visit each other. For the price, we expected more generosity with soap, toilet paper, tea and coffee, all of which were minimal.
- Ann (10/5): Wonderful place - Absolutely wonderful accommodation. Clean, quiet and so spacious. Really well appointed too.
And the bed...oh my, that was SO comfortable. We can't recommend.this enough. It was fabulous.
- Ash (10/5): Exceptional - Lovely stay and great location!
- Dave (1/5): Bad - After making the booking and completing the payment transaction within received an email to say that the booking couldn’t be accepted as they are fully booked so there seems to be a breakdown with what Booking.com have available with the location. So I cannot rate the hotel Trentham Villa. Please confirm that a refund has been made.
- Les (10/5): Exceptional - Was clean
- Butcher (8/5): Very good -
- Carolyn (9/5): Superb -
- Marie (7/5): Accommodation was nice and comfortable but not as well appointed as way was expected - Location excellent
No breakfast included Disappointing:
No complimentary milk provided
No tissues
No kitchen wrap
No dishwasher tablets
Scented candle provided but no matching light
- Julia (10/5): Great location and lovely set up. - Only one recommendation a gate from property into hotel property, but maybe this isn’t possible.
- John (10/5): Exceptional - Great place to stay, Golf course 2 minutes' drive down the road. Pub had a great meal, walking distance N/A
- Faye (10/5): Comfortable - Key code made it seamless Outside area needs some TLC
- Kim (10/5): A home away from home - The Villas were exceptionally clean and well equiped. Very homely. Everything was in walking distance to the quaint township of Trentham..
- Debra (9/5): Great first visit to Trentham and Daylesford Area - Will be Back - The apartment was beautifully presented, comfortable and the bedrooms were great, beaut little seating area in the main bedroom. Handy to the village centre for meals, groceries and a spot of shopping. Great Place to stay!! Difficult to find without a number on the fence, found it eventually *smile*
- Debbie (10/5): Great option to stay right in the heart of Trentham - Clean, really well set out and comfortable
- Jackie (10/5): Exceptional -
- Stephen (10/5): Highly recommended when visiting Trentham! - Very clean, spacious and located directly behind the Main Street. Well set up and comfortable
- Renee (10/5): Exceptional - So close to town and so clean and comfortable!
- Chanmony (10/5): We had a very relaxing stay at Trentham. It was just what we needed. - Beautiful, clean and spacious accommodation conveniently located in walking distance to shops.
- Robyn (9/5): Comfortable and clean. Very quiet. Ideal for our overnight stay. - Very clean and contemporary in style. A non slip surface needs to go into the double shower. I slipped and luckily did not hurt myself.
