Josephine (8/5): Good location. Clean & comfortable cabin. - Location was great, a few minutes drive into the town and across the road from the Artesian Baths. My cabin was clean and comfortable. The boom gate for the exit to the Holiday park was never closed during my four night stay. Whilst my cabin was locked and secure, I felt that it would have been better for security had the boom gate been closed to restrict anyone from driving into the park through the exit.
Paul (5/5): Once rated Best park, not anymore. - Location to Bore Baths Been going for twenty years, this time cabin 10 had broken and missing vertical blinds, had to put a towel up for privacy.Could not lock screen door. Has not been the same since Big Four taken over.

Scott (8/5): A very relaxing park to stay at in a town that's a must-see, even if it's just the once. - Cabin was in excellent condition. I was half expecting something knocked-about, but I was mistaken. Park was very quiet and had lots of facilities. The artesian hot spring bath is only 200M from the park's entrance and only closed from 10am to 12pm each day. Open all night and free. Staff at check-in were great and gave us some recommendations of things to see and showed-us on the map / brochure they have to hand-out. A bit far to walk to town centre.

Tim (9/5): A great cabin in a well run caravan park. - The three bedroom villa that we were up graded to was terrific. Great space, well equipped and very comfortable. A handrail on the steps outside would be a good addition and a great help for anyone with mobility issues.

CookieOz (10/5): Great Park ... not sure the town will call me back though. - The villa was nice and had everything a couple might need ... the air-conditioning struggled a little bit it was a super hot week. Bed was comfy and the place was super tidy.... price was good and I think this was the best accommodation in town. Campers / Caravaners are well looked after with awesomely spaced sites and good camp kitchen etc. I started with a bad experience ... we missed the office by 4 minutes after a 9 hiur drive ... they didnt send any instructions on late check in and didnt answer the after hiurs line ... thankfully they quickly realised and came back to open the key safe. A little oops and no real harm done. The park itself is a little further away from everything BUT the club courtesy bus serviced the park and its a quick drive to town. Nothing to do with the park, but I didn't realise at least half the town shuts down until the peak winter period of the gem show. We found ourself travelling to QLD for a different feed and if you're travelling in summer stock up because you might find no food retailers open at all.

Adrian (8/5): Two nights holiday in Lightning Ridge - Great location and best site in Lightning Ridge Reception staff are not welcoming. We booked two cabins under one name. The cabins were at either end of the park and we were told they could not be changed despite it being low season and many cabins unoccupied. Leaves a bad taste. This was our second visit in 8 weeks.
