• Denisa (1/5): - Terrible experience! We booked the stay and never heard from anybody! Were charged fulled amount and didn’t even stay there because no one responded to us! NOT RECOMMENDED!
• Dene (1/5): Worse experience ever - I cannot comment on the actual accommodation at The Heart of Naples - Neapolitana because we never stayed there. Unfortunately, our experience was extremely disappointing from the moment we arrived. The host failed to inform us in advance that the original accommodation we had booked and paid for was no longer available. Instead, upon arrival, we were unexpectedly offered a one-room studio apartment with no outside space, which was completely different from what we had booked. Despite this, the host still expected us to pay an additional €40 room tax. When we explained that we were unhappy and refused to stay, the gentleman became visibly angry. We contacted Booking.com immediately, explained the situation, and they advised us to leave straight away as we felt we were in a hostile and uncomfortable situation. Once the host realised we had contacted Booking.com, his attitude became even worse. To make matters more frustrating, we had also paid the host extra for an airport pickup service, so there was absolutely no reason why we could not have been informed beforehand that the original property was unavailable. Shockingly, at no stage — not even when we arrived at the property — were we told the accommodation we booked was no longer available. We felt completely cheated and vulnerable. Just after midnight, we were forced to find alternative accommodation and had no choice but to pay premium hotel rates due to the late hour. Please be cautious when booking this accommodation. My personal advice would be to avoid booking unless you are 100% certain you will receive exactly what you paid for. • Angelo (9/5): - La struttura è situata al quarto piano con accesso dalla corte. tale posizione ci ha permesso di vivere i vicoli di Napoli e relazionarci con i condomini, persone tranquille e pronti a dare consigli. Flora è stata eccezzionale, ci ha messo a nostro agio, ci ha fornito tutte le indicazioni per arrivare all'appartamento e come muoverci. L'appartamento è molto silenzioso.

Booking norādīts, ka būs āra terase, bet ierodoties naktsmītnē izrādījās, ka tā nav pieejama. Duša neatbilst nevienam standartam . Nav skaidrs kā iet dušā, jo vieta ir maza un ūdens tek visā vannas istabā. TV nedarbojas, nav internets.

• Nazar (10/5): Amazing apartment and experience!! - We had such a wonderful time in Naples thanks to Flora, the host of the apartment. Everything was perfect, beautiful and in a great zone. Flora was such a nice host that helped us with everything and would check on us if everything was going well. Would definetely recommend this apartment to anyone wanting to go to Naples!!

• Gianluca (8/5): Struttura buona, da migliorare - La struttura è buona, l'appartamento pulito e carino come da foto ma posizionato in una palazzina piuttosto datata. L'accoglienza della signora Flora è stata ottima, molto simpatica, e molto propositiva. Ci ha dato i giusti consigli per muoverci a Napoli appena arrivati. Il quarto piano senza ascensore é molto faticoso, prima di uscire o rientrare bisogna pensarci molto bene. All'appartamento mancano piccoli dettagli che secondo me andrebbero migliorati, mancano tavoletta del wc, tovaglia ,un set di piatti, bicchieri, e posate per i 4 ospiti. La luce della cucina è troppo bassa, Sistemare il secondo bagno, valorizzare e curare di più il terrazzo.

• Reymart (10/5): Awesome place! - The space is wonderful for me since I was alone. It is also clean and with complete furnitures. Flora was super helpful too. The bathroom is a bit small for a someone tall and big. A shower curtain would make it better too to prevent water flowing out into the floor.

• Ildiko (9/5): Superb - Flora, our hostess was super kind, attentive and helpful. The apartment is in a quiet part of Naples, different from the center, I liked it a lot. Authentic neighborhood, inhabited by Napolitean people. The building looks old but the apartment is renovated, it is nice, clean and spacious. It has two rooms and a nice private terrace on the top of the building. There is a big double bed in the bedroom and a sofa bed in the other room, wich is the hall. We felt comfortable, Flora turned on the heating for us as we were there in January. There could be a little more toiletries. Missing toilet seat. We had difficulties to handle the coffe machine.
• Hao (10/5): Highly recommend this property. Flora’s warmth and kindness makes you feel at home and a part of a family. - Flora, the owner, goes above and beyond for her guests. We spent new years in Naples. and she invited us into her own home to enjoy Napoleon snacks and drink champagne with her family to celebrate, making the new year’s celebration all the more enjoyable and homely. Flora remains contactable throughout your stay is extremely caring and welcoming. A strong recommendation to choose this property the next time you are in Naples. The location of the property requires taking public transportation to reach the city centre.
• Lena (10/5): Exceptional - The location was excellent and so was the apartment and the host Flora! It is situated close to Lungomare (the seafront) and the most vibrant shopping districts. The apartment is beautiful, very clean, calm and quiet with a spacious terrace and an amazing library. Perfect for relaxing after an intense day in Naples! Flora is a wonderful and attentive host. Definitely recommended!

The host does not speak English but comes to communicate a lot in person, I had to constantly provide my own phone to communicate through Google Translate. be ready to communicate a lot if case any problems or questions, I'm tired of communicating Also, I can say with confidence that the hostess entered our apartment while we were not at home, which is unacceptable (someone turned off the air conditioner while we were not at home).

• Samantha (8/5): Great location for a Neapolitain city holiday - Great location, shops, restaurants, port and Via Partenope a stone's throw away. The nearest metro a ten minute walk away. The apartment was spacious, with a comfortable bed and separate living room. It is in a residential neighbourhood, so you get a good flavour of Neapolitain life. The hostess, Flora, was very helpful and accommodating. The apartment is on the fourth floor without a lift and would definitely not be suitable if you have young children or mobility issues. There was a lack of cleaning materials for washing/drying up in the kitchen and in the bathroom.

• Maria (6/5): I would prefer to stay somewhere else next time. - The apartment is very big, nicely decorated, suitable for 4 people and has a rooftop/balcony and 2 bathrooms. The host was super friendly. The apartment could be more clean. For example, we found some stains on the toilet seat and on the sheets. The entrance to the apartment is very difficult to find and ugly and you have to go up to the 4rth floor without elevator. The Wifi did not work but we didn’t try to fix it.

• Joanna (8/5): A lovely place in a gem of a neighbourhood - A beautiful apartment in a gem of an authentic neighbourhood that offers amazing places to dine out & have aperos, close enough to historical landmarks but sheltered from the hussle and bussle of the historical centre. We appreciated the kindness and possibility to leave our luggage on the last day. The place is beautiful, but there are some details to be improved: - no soap in the bathroom, no shampoo etc that seems to be the basics in rental units; - there is no hairdryer - we have asked for one but never gotten it; - dirty cupboards in the bathroom and an unloaded dishwasher; - need to nudge the owners about check in and check out which is normally the information automatically provided; - no hot water in the showers; - no duvet covers for the bedding.
• Stanean (9/5): Superb - very good location, close to the sea, 10 min walk to the metro station Municipio, 5 min walk to Piazza del Plebiscito and via Toledo the flat is renovated, has all the utilities you need, and the Windows are soundproof, it was very silent inside. the building is an old Neapolitan style building , you get very much the sense of community existing in Napoli. you need to climb a bit, the flat is on the 4th level and the stairs are a bit steep

• Ottilia (10/5): Exceptional - This place is magical. As the name suggests its truly the heart of naples. The apartment is big, spacious, clean and with a fantastic atmosphere. The balcony on the top gives you an amazing view of the city and Vesuvio and its a pure joy to have your breakfast with a nice cup of coffee. The owner and the neighbour Flora are super kind, smiling and always there for you. We decided that if we ever come back well stay here again. Thank you so much for this wonderful place!
