• Natalia (8/5): A beautiful apartment in a great location, but not a hotel - The apartment is located in the best possible place in Rome near the Spanish Steps, in a beautiful old building. It is Spacious and has everything you need to stay. THIS IS NOT A HOTEL. I am a single female traveler and was looking specifically for a hotel. Instead, this turned out to be an AirBnB-style apartment: a 3-bedroom apartment renovated and converted into three separate rooms with different bathrooms and locks, and a common kitchenette area. There is no reception at all, and it is difficult to leave the bags before or after the stay, as they will be left inside the common kitchenette area without anybody watching. You have to register online before you get in, and then they will send you an access code. If you don't have internet upon arrival, you need to write the code ahead of time somewhere to get in. I didn't sleep much before arriving, and couldn't remember where the code was, and the manager was unable to pick up the phone for 15 minutes, so it took me a long time to get in. I couldn't find where on the Booking.com description, it was indicated that there is no reception. I woudl still recommend this place for people who are Okay in staying in a apartment (vs hotel), as otherwise it was phenomenonal!

Tem muitos restaurantes próximos. Stefania esta sempre disponível! O box é meio aberto então molha um pouco, mas nada demais. A rua é um pouco barulhenta.
• Stephanie (9/5): Aanrader in Rome! - Locatie helemaal top! We hadden de 3 pers kamer en was heerlijk ruim. Badkamer mooi en praktisch. Zit in mooi gebouw en in superfijne wijk. Geen minpunten, alles was fijn, ondanks dat het geen hotel is werd ons bed iedere dag opgemaakt. Communicatie via app was ook goed!

We couldn’t get it to work and then without doing anything it works hours later. One of the shutters was t closed and lots of light came in during the night.

The room looks different from the pictures and it's dirty. I booked because I saw rating 9.5 on cleanliness but it's not clean at all.

• Antonio (10/5): Ideal para conocer Roma - La ubicación es excelente al lado de la plaza apagan, el personal muy amable, te envían toda la información al WhatsApp para poder acceder. En nuestro caso éramos dos adultos y un niño y la habitación era amplia, la limpieza también muy buena. El baño amplio. Sin duda un buen sitio para alojarse y conocer Roma. El último día puedes dejar las maletas y no estar cargando con ellas. Tienes una pastelería justo debajo para desayunar.

Let us keep our bags in the room until 3pm after we’d checked out. Only thing I would say for constructive feedback is - The walls and furniture were a little untidy had some scuffs and needed a repaint.

I was very concerned about safety as I’m bringing my young daughter and not familiar with Rome. I totally enjoyed how safe the neighbourhood and convenient the unit is, with restaurants every few steps away, convenient stores to get the necessities daily and Spanish Steps so close by. As shared by other guests, we practically walked everywhere including to the Vatican City! Our room was cleaned daily by Ariana who was very friendly and diligent. I especially love that they bothered to have an espresso machine aside from the usual water boiler. Stefania and Sophie couldn’t be more helpful as well, whether over the line or in person (Sophie was there almost daily). Private car arrangements made were most comfortable and on time thru and fro the airport. Nothing!

The location was absolutely brilliant—just a short walk from the Spanish Steps and close to all the main sightseeing attractions. • Sorina (9/5): Wonderful stay in the heart of Rome. - Excellent stay in the heart of Rome. So close to every tourist attraction, shops, cafes, metro for those in need. It was an excellent choice for us as location is the most important. The appartment was nice, equipped with a Nespresso machine and kettle, very clean ( the cleaning was done on a daily basis ) and Sonia - the person in charge of us during our stay was wonderful and helped us with everything we needed ( managed to change our room very quickly when we suggested we would've liked another type of room). So thank you, Sonia! You were so very nice with us. The only minus would be for other tourists i guess who weren't careful with their luggage (i assume) and scratched and left marks on the walls. A hand of paint could be useful

• Jamie (10/5): Beautiful accomodation in Rome, stunning location - Decimo Meridio- At Spanish Steps was the perfect accomodation for our long weekend trip to Rome. The staff are absolutely lovely, the rooms are beautiful and clean with everything you need including a coffee machine. The location could not be better with an array of incredible restaurants right at the doorstop. We couldn’t speak more highly of this accomodation and will certainly choose to stay here again for future trips. Nothing to fault!

• Beata (6/5): Great location poor customer experience - Very good location and charming building There were few little things that made the stay below my expectations: the toilet flush was constantly getting stuck, the light in the bathroom was very week, no mirror in the room, little storage space, no trash bin in the room (except tiny one in the bathroom). Old windows so you could hear every noise from the street. And most of all unpersonalised check in experience, WhatsApp messages reduced to requests for payment, including sending an external link to pay (instead of processing via booking.com or just accepting paying by card at the property). No personal touch at all. No welcoming message at the property, no face to face contact except for check out and when I complained about those little things I was immediately dismissed and faced with very defensive and unpleasant attitude.
• Rute (8/5): A very decent stay in Rome city centre. - The location is very convenient, with a nearby supermarket and plenty of restaurants and shops just around the corner. Although the room and the bathroom are a bit small, the design is functional and contemporary. The daily cleaning and refill of Nespresso (Roma :) ) coffee capsules was great! The room we were given was not the same as the one we had booked. The photos show a bigger and nicer room than the unit provided (the apartment was divided into multiple rooms).

In addition, the room number in the email message was different from the actual room number. The information in the email was wrong, which made our stay very bad. The actual situation of the room is quite different from the photos on the website.

• Jason (9/5): Superb location and great service! - Superb location! Sonia has been very helpful throughout the entire stay~ which made the experience even better! The shower in the room we had was a good size, the water pressure and temperature were great, very relaxing after a long day outside. The room we got seems to be still pending some renovation work, some parts are either poorly finished or unfinished. The room is a bit small overall, but kind of also expected in the city centre.

Rooms are very clean and comfortable compare to the rest of the hotels in other cities we visited. It’s locate in the center of the city, 5 minutes away from the Spanish Steps, with a lot of good restaurants and beautiful surrounding atmosphere. I highly recommend this place as a top notch in Rome.

The location is amazing, we walked everywhere. It was very quiet at night. The choice of restaurants is fantastic and only metres away from the apartment. Highly recommended.

Renovators payed limited attention to details, so the finishing is not done well and some materials look cheap. It’s no problem now, as everything is new, but it will probably be in a year.

Yes, it is next to the Spanish steps, but the problem is the windows are thin and they don't close all the way. So, whatever happens outside you will hear if you get a room facing the street.
