• Jay (10/5): Made some new friends by the pool! - The views from the hot tub and pool are amazing! And the rooms was quiet, spacious and comfortable! Showers did take a little while to warm up
• Tom (7/5): Nothing fancy but a comfortable, hassle free, quiet spot to spend the weekend. - Pool/hot tub area was awesome It was very quiet and dark when sleeping at night Expensive - but everything is nowadays. Room was a bit dated and the whole house could use a refresher - but it was clean, quiet; if you just need a place to crash for a couple nights in North Vancouver this is an excellent option

• Celetti (8/5): - It was close to Lonsdale Avenue, where there are many stores & restaurants. We took transit from Lonsdale Quay the first day.. It's a lot of uphill walking. It's best to get the closest bus to the house location. If you have a car, it's a great location!

• Andreas (7/5): - Der Blick von der Terrasse, traumhaft!!! Die Lage in North Vancouver war für uns super. Das Anwesen bietet alles wie beschrieben. Der Kontakt mit den anderen Gästen war sehr nett. Das Anwesen ist zunächst beeindruckend. Bei genaueren Hinsehen aber schon etwas in die Jahre gekommen. Vieles sollte mal gründlich gereinigt werden ((Terassengeländer), renoviert (Bad) bzw. erneuert werden (Holzterrasse).

• Charles (10/5): A wonderful mansion which is being used as a B&B. Feel sorry for the original owner. - Breakfast was not inculuded!
• Anna (3/5): Do not pay cash to the host- Unwelcoming host but nice location! - Good location - quiet. The kitchen was clean and the bedroom had nice facilities such as washing machine and was roomy. The kitchen was a good open area with lots of space. Hot tub was a nice addition. Host was rude and made us feel very uncomfortable, harassing us for cash at various points of our stay when we had raised an issue with Booking.com. Do not pay the host cash when pressed. The TV doesn't work, oven doesn't cook, the outside area needs a good clean and TLC. The booking had false advertising about what was included and what was 'extra' - don't fall for it. We couldn't wait to leave in the end..

• Gemma (7/5): - This property is in a lovely neighbourhood and extremely quiet. Free parking is available and the area felt very safe. There is a good washing machine and dryer available for use. There was a lot of ants in the kitchen so if you had any food in cupboards they seemed to find it.
• John (9/5): Superb - Great private room. The home is really nice. Easy to cook and eat at. Pool was nice ( a little cold) Hot tub was good. After we found the button! Wi- Fi is excellent. Parking was adequate. Not that much really.
• Scott (7/5): We enjoyed our stay other than the firm mattress. - Great location. Great view. Lots of parking space. Good value compared to hotels. Our mattress was too firm for us. We had sore backs by the end of the weekend.

• Teri (7/5): We hope to be back! - Walk in closet. Beautiful view from the hot tub. Price. Prompt response when something wasn’t working or wasn’t right. Not enough hooks in bedroom & we couldn’t find the outdoor lighting by the hot tub. Toilet has a constant, albeit slight drip.
• Hanniebun (5/5): Passable - The pool & hot tub. Location and views. Mattress very uncomfortable and bedding had stains. Weird smell throughout house. House needs maintenance, stairs to hot tub are falling apart.

I just wish the host would look after the place - The view was amazing I really appreciated how quickly the host responded when I had questions The lockbox was tricky to find at night time, the place itself could definitely use some new paint and updating, the bed was extremely firm, the pillows had no fluff, the kitchen/shared areas inside the house definitely showed signs of wear and had trash/floors needed to be cleaned badly.
• Debra (9/5): Lovely restful environment⅕ - wonderful views from my bedroom the whole property was cleaned every day & was immaculate. Very spacious welcoming living areas I incorrectly thought I had an issue , the landlord responded immediately & effectively. the surrounding area was beautiful , near parks & hiking. The only thing Im not sure if mentioned is the walk from bus stop is uphill ,if you are approaching the property from Langsdale Ave , the road continues after a steep flight of stairs, tbf the host did advise using a taxi if arriving with luggage.
• Catherine (6/5): Pleasant - quiet clean room, nice shower, and toiletries appreciated, as well as hair dryer. Kitchen was easy to use, fridge space and cupboard with dishes, etc. Met some other travelers, and shared coffee and a conversation. the toilet ran for a long time filling the tank, and the plunger did not always engage. The location was more uphill than I expected but do able. The lock boxes are in a space without direct light, and as I came up in the near dark it was hard to see the numbers. Also, the correct placement of the numbers would be helpful.
• Mark (9/5): Great property with all facilities. A taste of Canadian life. - Vast house set in a quiet location with great views . Large bedroom with comfortable bed . Could not get room and lounge tvs to work but then you don’t go to watch tv.

• Maximilian (7/5): Nice place wirh pools in North Vancouver. - Great pool and hot tub, you got everything you need in this place. Kitchen is also good. The room was basic solid and shower not the newest but erverything was clean. Location is pretty good if you have a car and want to explore the north or go hiking. Feels a little like a flatshare, but everybody was very kind.
• Josh (8/5): Great place to stay - Home is well organized per room. The backyard view is gorgeous. Walkable to shop for groceries and/or grab a bite to eat. Very easy check in process. Place is great! My only suggestion is a more powerful fan for the Seymour room. The two windows are egress and do not allow a lot of air flow - gets very hot in an heat wave and I’m not one to complain of being hot.

Quiet neighbourhood. One fridge not working & the other one not labelled. Our food was thrown out by mistake. Problem was quickly corrected though, which was great.

• Andrew (9/5): Peaceful home in a beautiful location. THEY DO NOT ACCEPT CARD PAYMENT - Fantastic location in North Vancouver, with easy access to Highway 1, the city and the hills. Very peaceful and plenty of places to relax away from other guests. Lots of space in our room / office and the beds were comfy. Instructions to be quiet and to respect other guests' and neighbours' peace were clear and repeated, which was very welcome. This is absolutely not somewhere to stay if you want a party We booked using a credit card as normal and there was no indication that we could not use that to pay. Nor were debit cards accepted. Instead, the property insisted on paypal (which we do not use) or bank transfer (which we could not set up as we are away from home in England). They also refused to let us cancel once we discovered the problem. In the end we settled on cash, which caused us anxiety in carrying and handing over such a large sum. Please make it clear before booking that cards are not accepted. More cooking utensils would be welcome in the kitchen and it was a bit dusty in the lounge.
