• John (10/5): Niko, our host, is an effective and proactive communicator, reaching out to us on WhatsApp prior to our arrival, meet - The location, it is in the heart of Trastevere, amidst wonderful restaurants, streets and shops. The property also has a private terrace on the roof. We loved the property and would not change a thing. There is a spiral staircase to the front door that could be tough for some travelers to navigate with luggage.

• laurence (10/5): Merveilleux séjour en plein cœur de Trastevere. - Très joli appartement en plein centre de Trastevere. Merci à Nicodemo pour son accueil si chaleureux. Nous avons mangé dans son restaurant, je vous le conseille. Nous avons pu arriver plus tôt et partir plus tard . Le logement est super équipé. On peut y manger et profiter de la vue sur cette magnifique terrasse qui domine les toits de la ville . La literie était parfaite. En face de l' église mais pas gênant. Prévoir un loup si vous n' aimez pas le jour , sinon il y en a dans le logement et des boules quies si vous n' etes pas venu pour faire la fête, mais on le sait en venant dans ce quartier qu'il y a un peu de bruit jusqu' à la fermeture des restaurants. Nous sommes restés 4 jours et c' etait bien agréable. Nous garderons cette adresse pour un autre séjour ou pour des amis . Rien
• Teresa (10/5): Excellent location and a great unit with a very helpful host! - Niko provided coffee and nice snacks for breakfast and afternoon. Niko was very helpful with information about the surrounding area and when we let him know the wifi was not working, he had the problem fixed immediately. Stairs were not a problem for us, but it should be noted there are 3 flights of stairs to the unit and the bedroom and bathroom are on different floors.

Kleine Grundausstattung an Getränken und Lebensmittel für Frühstück und eine Mahlzeit. Sehr netter und zuvorkommender Gastgeber. Die Dusche ist ein bisschen eng.
• Mar (9/5): ESTUPENDO ATICO ENE L TRASTÉVERE - Nico, el propietario, es un encanto y dispuesto a agradar; nos dejó todo lo necesario para el desayuno: café, leche, galletas, aceite... muy bien equipada y se agradece la verdad. La terraza es fantástica. La ubicación es muy buena porque puedes ir a todos los sitios andando. Aunque el Trastévere tiene mucha vida nocturna desde la habitación no se oyen ruidos. Que la habitación no tuviera persianas ni cortinas opacas y por las mañanas entrase demasiada luz que me despertaba (para mí es una desventaja, para otros será un beneficio) y la cama matrimonial si fuera un poco mas grande, mejor, pero es muy cómoda.

• Meghna (10/5): Wonderful host and a wonderful stay. Would surely love to come back, if I get a chance. - The location was wonderful, on one of the most picturesque streets of Trastevere. The house is full of character and old time charm. Nico was very responsive and always available to answer any questions. He runs a restaurant nearby and, we had dinner there one night. The food and service was excellent. He even gave us a complimentary Tiramisu to have for the next day. The breakfast provided was sufficient for us to get an early start before we walked around exploring the beautiful city of Rome. He gave a Nespresso, as well as some really good, strong coffee to be used for a Moka pot. I loved using it every morning and, enjoyed having the coffee on Nico’s quiet and beautiful terrace, looking at the church tower and the pine trees, before the buzzing madness started for the remainder of the day. The house has a couple of flights of steep stairs, so may not be for everyone. Nothing.

• Olha (10/5): - The place is absolutely gorgeous!! I really recommend it. Clean, well organised, with pretty terace. Nice streets around, a lot of restaurants and gelateria nearby. Close to near every location we wanted to see(we traveled on foot). The owner was very helpfull, really. The place was perfect for us.
• JULIE (10/5): Perfect stay in Rome - Nico the owner went out of his way to make our stay in Rome incredible. Our flight time in was late evening and he was happy to meet us after midnight to let us in and show us around the apartment. He used WhatsApp to communicate and was able to send links for transport around the city etc. Nico even booked a table at a wonderful restaurant for us for my birthday. We felt we were at home in the apartment. The bathroom was stocked with essentials as was the kitchen. The beds were so comfortable and the best bit - the roof top terrace was wonderful for enjoying morning cups of coffee and a glass of wine in the evenings. We will definitely return. The apartment is homely and quirky and just wonderful. The photos don’t do the apartment justice! The location is vibrant, full of eateries and quaint shops. The only thing to note is that there are quite a few steps to the apartment. Liked everything

Loved staying on - Excellent location in the hub of the cafe / restaurant strip of Trastevere. Comfortable & cosy loft style bedroom with a separate living area . Loved the terrace roof where we enjoyed morning coffee, breakfasts and afternoon apéritives …. Very special 🥰 Our Host Nico met us on site & very kindly Carried our suitcases to the top floor (3rd) Luckily we caught a taxi and were delivered close by …. May I suggest a-clearer outside wall sign to label the location of the upstairs apartment. If you have bad hips or knees - I would not recommend.
• Ignasi (10/5): Com a casa! - En Nico, l’amfitrió, ens ha ajudat molt a que la nostra estada a Roma fos el més agradable possible. El primer dia ens va rebre ben d’hora a l’apartament per poder deixar les maletes i fer el check-in. Ens va donar les claus i al migdia, completada la neteja, ja ens vam poder instal·lar. A Casa Greco hi vam trobar molts productes gratuïts per esmorzar i pels àpats, i tots els estris imprescindibles per cuinar, així com oli, vinagre, sal i pebre. També una cafetera Nespresso i una sandwichera. El llit és molt còmode i la terrassa amb vistes a Santa Maria in Trastevere et permet fer l’aperitiu i menjar a l’aire lliure. El dia de sortida teníem el vol a la nit i en Nico ens va permetre allargar l’estada i fer el check-out a mitja tarda. • Eleanor (10/5): The perfect stay at Casa Greco! - Our stay at Casa Greco exceeded every expectation. The location couldn't have been more perfect, surrounded by places to eat and drink and next to the lovely piazza di santa Maria. All the major attractions were either walking distance or a short taxi ride (the uber/free now pick up area was a 1 minute walk away just across the square). There is also a handy carrefour 5/6 mins walk away. The apartment was clean and comfortable with a great shower, well kitted kitchen, air con throughout, a smart TV, Wifi and really comfortable bed/bedding as well as very thoughtful amenities provided. The beautiful terrace overlooking the church is also a lovely bonus. Its clear that Nicodemo cares about his guests' comfort and puts a lot of thought into creating a nice experience. Communication is excellent and frequent and check in was super easy we were even able to get in early as we had an early flight. I cannot recommend Casa Greco enough, excellent value for money to have the space in such a central location, we will absolutely stay here on our next trip to Rome. Grazie Nicodemo! Nothing!

• Gordon (10/5): Charming apartment in the heart of Trastevere. - Beautiful apartment with a delightful rooftop terrace in the heart of Trastevere. Great location to explore Rome on foot. Nicodemo is a generous host and runs a charming restaurant nearby.
• Claudia (10/5): Es war wunderschön. Wir kommen wieder. - Wohnung und Lage sind traumhaft - zentral in Trastevere gelegen - idealer Ausgangspunkt um Rom zu erkunden. Wir haben den Gastgeber nicht persönlich kennengelernt, er war aber stets per WhatsApp zu erreichen und äußerst zuvorkommend. Er schickte uns Erkundungstouren ausgehend von der Wohnung, frische Getränke warteten im Kühlschrank bei unserer Ankunft auf uns und r er fragte immer wieder nach, ob wir noch etwas benötigen. Die Schlüsselübergabe war optimal organisiert. Die Wohnung ist gemütlich und geschmackvoll eingerichtet und sauber. WLAN überall und sehr gut. Frühstück und abends noch ein abschließender Wein auf der Dachterrasse über den Dächern Roms sind ein wahrer Genuss. Es war sicherlich nicht unser letzter Aufenthalt in der Casa Greco. Da gibt es nichts. Alles bestens.

• Becky (9/5): Wonderful Stay: Top Location & Thoughtful Amenities - The property is extremely well located in the bustling suburb of Trastevere, surrounded by bars and restaurants, with a lovely private rooftop area- perfect for my morning coffee then for wine and cheese in the evening. It’s a quick walk to public transport, making it easy to access tourist attractions. It’s very well equipped (the best-equipped apartment I’ve stayed in) and the communication with the owner, Nicodemo, prior to and during our stay was outstanding. I would stay here again without hesitation. The only negative is that there is a clock tower nearby which sometimes disturbed my sleep (I’m a light sleeper). Regardless, I extended my stay.

• Aleksandra_Woj (10/5): Splendido e consigliatissimo! - We've stayed in Casa Greco 3 nights and it was a wonderful time. We've arrived late, because our flight was delayed, but it wasn't any issue for the owner - there was someone waitnig for us with the keys and we were in touch all the time. There were snacks prepared for the breakfast, Nutella included (our daugther was amazed :D). In the fridge we found water and few beers, there was even a pack of pasta and tomato sauce prepared in case we wanted to make some meal (yes, the onions and seasonings were prepared as well :)). Also, the owners even put the AC on before we arrived, so we could have a nice evening rest in super comfortable beds. There was everything we need, like home (iron, comsetics, etc) and the house was very clean. The place is located in the heart of Trastevere, near the restaurants and 20 minutes walk from the city center and Vaticano. Nico, the owner, was so nice that he even sent us some well prepared sightseeing itineraries on whatsapp. And the view from the terrace - no words to express how beautiful it was. I really enjoyed our stay - Nico, grazie, you're doing it great, we've never felt more welcomed :)

• Rostislav (10/5): Amazing experience even for long staying! - We absolutely loved everything! Nico is the best host you could ever hope to find—truly one of a kind. The apartment was so authentic and equipped with absolutely everything needed for living, even down to small hygiene details—you can see the host's care in every little thing. The beautiful terrace was perfect for breakfast and dinner, and at night, we could relax on the soft sun loungers and enjoy the view of the church. The bed was very comfortable, and the air conditioning worked perfectly. We were so sad to leave and hope to come back! Surprisingly, the church bells didn’t bother us at all—they actually added to the atmosphere. There are restaurants downstairs, but the noise doesn’t disturb your sleep at all; we didn’t even hear it. Nico, thank you so much for such a wonderful stay! Everything was perfect!

We loved having the terrace with a view of the church bell tower. The bells ringing every 15 minutes were delightful (I was worried they might get annoying but not at all). It was a heat wave during our stay in Rome so I was happy that the AC worked well.

Close to bars, restaurants and 5-10 minutes with public transportation from the historic center of Rome. The flat was great with everything needed and more…and what is there to say about a rooftop terrace in the middle of Trastevere..amazing! The owner was also very friendly and available for us.

We told him we were on our honeymoon and we arrived with fresh strawberries and prosecco! There were also various items of food in the kitchen that were available for us and we appreciated them tremendously! And it comes with a rooftop terrace with beautiful views. Nico also helped us and made dinner reservations to celebrate our honeymoon at a local restaurant that was very delicious! We will absolutely be staying here again when we return to Rome. I cannot say enough great things about this place and Nico!! There is also a cute place right next door with a local artist that I recommend you go to and buy art from!
• Minnie (10/5): A hidden gem - Casa Greco was absolutely amazing—by far the best place we've ever stayed in Rome! We loved it from the very first day and were genuinely sad to leave. The highlight of our stay was the beautiful terraces—we started every morning with coffee and ended each evening with a glass of wine, soaking in the views. The host was a superstar! He met us on the street to make sure we found the place easily, gave us a full tour, and had stocked the kitchen with a full breakfast and even pasta and ingredients for dinner—all complimentary! Such a thoughtful and generous touch. Every detail was perfect, and the care put into the guest experience really stood out. We wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again. Highly recommended!

The host Nicodemo is amazing and helped us all the way through including airport pickup at 3 AM, so many small gestures inside including food items, mints, beer in the fridge and everything we could think of. Beds comfy, quiet although the alley has a busy restaurant. 3rd floor no elevator- for us not a problem but if you are with small kids/ babies or have health issues can be a problem.
• Gabriela (9/5): Very cozy , warm , located in an animated area , easy yo reach most of the touristic spots of Rome without using the pub - Very good location , smooth check in and out; the house kept the characteristic of old style one but well maintained at the same time , with all comfort you need , made feel me at ease . The host Nicodemo is very warm and welcoming. I was provided with clear instructions on how to reach the house from Fiumicino by public transport (train and tram) and waited for my late arrival . The host answered positively to my request of a strain ft pillow as I am not used to hard pillow. Some gastronomic products available for the guest: snacks , milk for the morning, basic ingredients to cook like oil (very good quality) , tomato sauce , pasta , 2 beers . • Laurie (9/5): We felt like locals, living in this charming apartment. - It was well located as a base to visit the many things we wanted to see in Rome. We loved the ability to cook meals in the apartment and to have our breakfasts there as well. We also loved the terrace, a great place to enjoy an evening aperitivo. Add to this to the sound system which was well appreciated. Nico was a very attentive and responsive host. The apartment is located in a busy area for nightlife, which has its advantages but it can also tend to be noisy. After six nights, we almost got used to the church bells which rang every 15 minutes, 24/7. We were grateful for the earplugs that were provided by the host.

The neighborhood is a bit busy, the windows are great and cut out most of the noise. Host was incredibly helpful and the property included buffet breakfast items and coffee and was well set for self catering Nothing I didn’t like ( loved it) but for those looking to book - not suitable for those with mobility issues, or who don’t do stairs well, and not great for small children. Can be noisy at night so light sleepers take note - you are in the heart of everything, and the church bells chime every 15 minutes 24/7.

• Stephen (10/5): Perfect location, clean and comfortable - Great host! Nicodemo is very kind and thoughtful. He had water, coffee, breakfast items, beer, and our first dinner if we wanted it with fresh onions and lemons and garlic to use. His apartment was spotless, one of the cleanest places we have stayed. The bed and pillows were fantastic, very comfortable. The terrace has great views of Santa Maria church and the rooftops in the neighborhood. The TV has Netflix, Prime, Disney Plus, Discovery Plus, etc. The location is right in trastevere, in my opinion, the best neighborhood to be in right now. Walkable to all the best restaurants and the historic sites. Literally, the top rated restaurants are right outside your door or just around the corner. Nothing. You should be aware of the stairs, the apartment is 3 stories up, and the staircase is narrow and winding. This wasn't an issue for us but could be for someone with mobility issues. The views from the top are what we wanted.

Easy to get to Romes attractions bus and tram not too far. PT limitations in Rome being what they are. Host was terrific, we were supplied with eggs bacon, real coffee, snakes, fruit. Even pasta and a sauce for our first evening meal. Very helpful. Set up comfortable and relaxing Stairs but worth it as we had a terrific roof terrace area, for meals, a drink or morning coffee.
• Mikhail (10/5): Lovely terrace in Trastevere with a great host - We stayed 3 nights in May 2024 and it was perfect. Nicodemo is one of the best hosts (he is also the owner) we ever had. He met us at the apartment, helped with the luggage, allowed us to have early check in and late check out. The apartment is just lovely. It's super clean and fresh and it's in an old-fashioned style. It's so romantic with its terrace, with a great view on Basilica di Santa Maria. The apartment is right in the center of touristic Trastevere. Of course, you should keep in mind, that it's above loudy restaraunts, but for us it wasn't a problem at all: it was our choice to stay in this historic streets full of night life. You've got good WiFi, everything you need in the kitchen (even oil, tea, coffee, some food for breakfast, etc.), air-conditioner, bluetooth audio system in every room, clean towels, hot water in the shower and other small good details. I hope to return some day. Thanks to Nicodemo! Its on the 3rd floor with a spiral staircase, so you should be cafefull.

We liked everything here: very attentive host; unique and especially cozy interior of the apartment; many products for breakfast (yogurt, cheese, butter, sausage, pasta, cakes, etc.); not only coffee and tea but also a bottle of wine! :) Amazing location (30 minutes walking distance to the Vatican, Trevi Fountain, Pantheon, etc.).
