Guest Reviews
- Anna (7/5): Enjoyable little stay , lovely property - Location, parking on site, spacious living room and rooms.
The house is exactly like the photos advertised. Hairdryer, electric heater and fans provided. Maintenance wasn’t as good as previous private rented I stayed in. As soon as I walked in I noticed a cracked vase. There was used dental picks on the garden furniture outside, and cigarette butts all over the floor. There was also rubbish in the back yard. There was no door handle on the main bedroom door and no lock on bathroom door. A previous customer already commented on the bath mat that it was dirty. It def needs changing it had stains on that looked like blood. I ended up covering it with a towel.
Had to give the dining chairs a wipe and my bedside table it had dried food stains.
I couldn’t get in initially on the instructions it told me to buzz.. I did and nothing happened eventually I called the mobile number and I was let in.
One last niggle it took me ages to work out how to open the gate for car park … only to be told my another occupant it was broke and you had to pull it.
- Rose (7/5): Perfect location for Guys hospital, could be fantastic if a few issues are addressed. - The location and parking was excellent. We had a very comfortable stay and slept well, comfy beds and lovely bed linen.
Lovely size communal accommodation set in beautiful grounds. Downstairs loo was a bonus. The key safe was in the meter cupboard which really needed a key to open it. I had trouble accessing the property initially. It feels like a work in progress. Several windows didn't close, some blinds were broken, shower was leaking, bath mat was filthy. Kitchen was not adequately equipped. Downstairs loo needs somewhere to hang a hand towel and a mirror.
- Paul (5/5): - The location and parking was good! Microwave was not clean - food from previous uses hence didn’t end up using it
Door handles in the main bedroom door was broken
Fans were mentioned in the amenities however was not available when we checked in! Had to call the host and they arranged by that evening
Flush in the upstairs toilet was appalling and didn’t flush enough water out
Sockets were not working in living room
Loose bolt found under sofa and having a baby crawling it just seemed unsafe
Basic supplies salt pepper were not provided
Could do with a little renovation in upstairs bathroom
Blackout curtains would be a good bonus
There was a. Bedding in the machine /dryer already sitting, not sure if washed or to be washed
Overall the stay was decent however we are really unhappy with the service. Once we left the apartment and reached home I realised I left some baby utensils and pots in the apartment in the kitchen to dry, forgot to pick it up. Have been trying to contact the host over 2 months to arrange for them to send back. First 2 days my calls and messages were answered and I was told they will post it to us! However no action has been taken and now all calls and messages have been totally ignored. I even contacted booking.com customer service on a few occasions. They contacted the host and even they were informed that the stuff will be sent back ! But to this also it’s been over a month !
Just left a sour taste in the mouth . Basically once your stay is over they are not going to entertain any issues or if you did forget anything there by mistake.
These small things make a big difference in customer service which in this occasion they failed to deliver!
- Patrick (10/5): Big holiday ever in London - The property was so clean and spacious. The location was also incredibly accessible. The person managing the property was very professional and courteous. N/A
- Mak (10/5): A lovely and comfortable house for our short stay. - Lovely house, very roomy and well decorated. Looks 100% like the photos, didn’t disappoint. The amenities were well stocked too. The entrance instructions didn’t come through originally and we were struggling to get in but the staff were very quick and responsive over email and phone to help us get in. We had a very good time, would recommend! The bedroom door handle was falling off when we arrived and whilst it wasn’t really a problem we were worried that it would break!

- Janaya (9/5): Lovely base for a family trip to London - The house was in a perfect location, close to tower bridge and the south bank. It was gated, so felt very safe. Well decorated and cosy. The fans in the bedrooms were a god send in August heat. Would definitely consider coming back and would recommend to a friend. The house wasn't ready at check-in time, we were told, due to the mess of the previous guests. The owner was apologetic and paid for our dinner, which was very much appreciated. The door handle on the double bedroom was broken, as well as a few of the pull cords on blinds around the house. Apart from that everything was great.
- Graham (8/5): Great value place to stay for a visit to London. - What a great place to stay. Location is so easy to get into the centre of London. Was also easy to find when driving in. The house is about a 10 min walk to the Underground station.
The house itself is in a quiet location and close to some pubs and restaurants. We can recommend Diogenes the Dog wine bar for a good wine!!
The property needs a bit of TLC and it would be very very good. The instructions to get in were a bit vague and I ended up calling the host twice when providing clear instructions would have been easy. All I needed was - Sliding gate access to car park is broken. Just slide it open & shut by hand. Lock box is located in the service hatch next to the front door. Then the code (which I had)
Host was very helpful though.

- Julie (7/5): Location ideal, roomy little house, just a bit more attention to detail - the location was absolutely ideal—convenient, quiet, and perfect for exploring the surrounding area.
The place itself was clean, which instantly made me feel at ease. It was also incredibly comfortable. It was roomy with plenty of space to relax and unwind without feeling cramped. Being able to park our car was a real bonus. Everything was just as described. Out stay was affected by some issues. Shortly after arrival, the handle on the main bedroom door came off completely, and later the door slammed shut behind us. We ended up locked in and had to remove the other handle just to get out, which was quite distressing and should have been easily preventable with proper maintenance. We were also disappointed that there were no complimentary tea, coffee, or basic welcome provisions. It’s a small touch that makes a big difference, and we had to phone the letting team to report it. The outdoor area was cluttered with boxes and decorating tools, creating a rather untidy impression. It clearly needed sweeping, weeding, and some overhanging plants needed cutting back to make it usable and inviting. Lastly, the bathroom mat was dirty, which made the place feel less clean and cared for than expected.
We hope these details are taken on board, as this property has potential to offer a great stay with a bit more attention to detail and upkeep.
- Victoria (10/5): Exceptional -
- Agnieszka (8/5): Nice comfortable house near Tower Bridge! - We had a very good time. The location is actually good, there are numerous buses running nearby. You are within walking distance from Tower Bridge. The neighbourhood seems calm and is very green. There are some griocery stores and pubs nearby. The house is not new but everything was clean and working. It was very comfortable for a family of 4. There was hot water under the shower, a hair dryer and a kitchen equipped with stove, oven, microwave and dishwasher. Dishwasher tablets and other detergents were available. They let us check-in early and check out late - which was very nice although we finally didn’t use these options. This is probably a matter of personal preference but for
me the bed was way too soft to sleep comfortably. Soft mattress! Single beds were very squeaky.
There were only 3 rolls of toilet paper in the house and one small bar of soap. It would be nice to provide at least some kind of shower gel in the bathroom.
The kitchen didn’t have any spices at all, not even salt and pepper.
There is a backyard but there was some garbage lying there I guess from some kind of renovation? And also a full ashtray on the table. It would be nice to make it usable.
- Brian (8/5): Had a great trip and would consider this property again! Great value for the money and a great location for our family - Location, right near the bus, 15 minute walk to the tube. Safe, gated. Electrical circuit breaker tripped when we tried to use more than just a few outlets to charge our devices. Washer/dryer combo never fully dried our clothes so we were not able to fully utilize the laundry the way we intended.
- Emil (10/5): Amazing places in great and safe area - Amazing places in great and safe area. Really close to Tower Bridge. The house has a fully furnished kitchen, two bathrooms, very comfortable beds and a very atmospheric little garden. Everything was great
- Sam (8/5): We had a great stay catching up with friends, definitely use this house again. - Lovely quiet location, comfortable beds, easy to access buses. It was a great base for downtime for catching up with friends.
Host sent all the access information with pictures We struggled to open the meter door to access the key safe.
Lack of kitchen utensils-no sharp knife, wooden spoons or spatulas.
- Oksana (10/5): Exceptional - Cosy house, very convenient location, great host. Would definitely recommend.
- Ebraheem (10/5): Exceptional - Nice and clean house, away from noise
