• Janine van den Bergh (10/5): Geweldig appartement met prachtig uitzicht ♥️ - De locatie prachtig en zo dichtbij Banje Beach en the old town! Het appartement is heel ruim, heel licht en met uitzicht op mooi groen en een glimp van de zee. De communicatie met de host verliep heel vlot en reageerde bij alle vragen vriendelijk en met de juiste informatie. Niets! Ja je moet 136 trappen op en neer naar de stad, maar dat weet je als je niet in de old town verblijft. Daardoor is je uitzicht vanuit het appartement ook zo mooi, zit je in de rust en is de prijs-kwaliteit verhouding veel beter. Als je slecht ter been bent, bedenk je dan ook dat je in heel Dubrovnik flink moet klimmen en trappen hebt.

• Dagmar (7/5): - Prostorné ubytování, dobře vybavená kuchyň. Přístup do ubytování po schodech (cca 150), pod nimi dole je silnice a pod ní je veřejná pláž (dalších cca 50 schodů). Pokud dole zjistíte, že jste zapomněli opalovací krém, není to příjemné :) S majitelkou jsme se nesetkali, ačkoliv došlo několik mailů, kdy přijedeme a na něj jsme několikrát odpověděli, tak nebyla přítomna (cca 10,30 dopoledne) , kód na bezpečnostní schránku na klíče nefungoval. V tomtéž domě o patro výše jsme viděli ženu, kterou jsme poprosily o pomoc, zavolala majitelce a dala nám kód. Od prvního dne téměř neodtékala sprcha, voda tam stála 10 cm až do rána, což byla velká nepříjemnost. Psali jsme majitelce, která slíbila "někoho" poslat na opravu, ale nestalo se tak a nereagovala ani na další zprávu... úsporně jsme se s velkými problémy sprchovaly (3) až do konce pobytu. Toto velmi pokazilo celkový dojem. V bytě nad námi probíhaly menší stavební úpravy, hlučela vrtačka a práce. Pronajatý byt zřejmě vznikl předělením většího bytu a v ložnici byla stěna jen ze sádrokartonu, zřejmě vůbec nebyl izolovaný (nebo špatně), neboť z vedlejšího pronajatého bytu bylo slyšet vše a nepomohlo ani, že před stěnou byla postavená skříň. Pro méně zdatné je asi důležité, že k ubytování vede ze silnice asi 150 schodů.

Apartment is big with a nice yard Good kitchen facilities with a nice bar area We arrived 2am Prior to check-in, I talked through booking saying that, and the host tole me she will give me the pin to the key box. I didn't receive the pin through bookings, and thought the pin listed in the booking was to the key box. Turned out it wasn't. Nobody answered the call, and we stayed outside at 2am, inputting the pin from 0000 to 9999 for 2 hours, to get the keys out. After got the keys out, we entered the room, and found the room was not cleaned. Sheets were taken off, with no pillowcases...We saw the yellow marks on the mattress, on the pillows, on the blankets。 We slept on a dirty bed with our coats on for the first night. The day after, the apartment manager called said she texted the pin to my "whatsapp". I didn't have Whatsapp... And I emphasized, we ordered the room on booking, not on Whatsapp. And the dirty room was due to some issues with system information transfer from booking to another platform. The cleaning lady arrived soon after the complaint, did the cleaning, with a good attitude. That's the experience I had with this apartment check in. For facilities: the living room was very nice, with a big bed in the middle. Kitchen was good. Toilette was just ok. Bedroom... small and with a very dirty wall & bedside. But anyways, we didn't book a 5-star hotel. Attention: this apartment is located on the mountain, so if you have big luggage, be prepared to carry it on and off on the big stairs.

• Ellen (9/5): - Fantastische locatie met ruime keuken en leuk buiten op uitstekende locatie Let op dat je goed ter been moet zijn omdat je wel wat trappen moet lopen om er te komen.

• Anchal (6/5): Properrty is good, but hard to get response from host when you need them. - The property is spacious with washer. Nice beds. One of the bedroom is little small, but still okay, they have coffee machine, full kitchen, and some snacks too. We booked the this property in advance and also booked Parking, but someone else parked the car in our slot and didn’t move his car for two hours. We tried to contact host several times, but we didn’t get the response. There was a problem communicating with host. don’t expect the response Quicker when you really need it. We were out of bathroom tissues and we requested several times. Nobody came.

• STEPHANE (9/5): Bel appartement - La situation en bord de mer, ( attention beaucoup de marches pour y accéder), près de la vieille ville, commerces à proximité Propriétaire très réactif, de bon conseils, échanges rapides et sympathiques Appartement agréable Ne rien oublier dans l'appartement vu les nombres de marches (c'est bon pour les mollets!!)
• Cris16693 (2/5): Terrible - Alojamiento completo, con utensilios de cocina, y aire acondicionado Apartamentos situado en lo alto, cuyo acceso y por escaleras tanto de subida como de bajada, no apto para gente en silla de ruedas, gente mayor, ni carritos de bebé. El alojamiento estaba sucio , se lo dijimos a la persona que lo gestiona, envió a otra persona a revisarlo porque la persona que lo gestiona no vive allí vive en otra ciudad , vino a ver qué pasaba con la ducha porque no salía agua y primero nos dijeron que era la presión y cuando lo vio, es que estaba rota la ducha. Nos dijeron que mañana vendrían a arreglarla pero que antes nos llamarían, estuvimos casi una semana y nadie ni se puso en contacto ni vino a arreglarlo, horrible el trato . También le comentamos la gran plaga de bichos que había dentro ya que encima tenemos una niña pequeña, y nos dijeron que era normal, que con el clima mediterráneo hay mucho bicho que lo ignorásemos… Solo había aire acondicionado en la entrada por lo que no llega ni a la habitación ni al salón. Desde luego no volvería a alojarme aquí
• Ricardo (10/5): - 1: The location is amazing, just take 150 steps down and you reach Banje beach, we always walk from there to old town. Just some steps up you reach another street from which you can take uber. 2: The apartment was super complete, exactly what you want/expect from an apartment. Like someone is actually living in there. Kitchen complete with oil, salt. Bathroom with shampoos. You get welcome candies and croissants :) Nothing but be aware of the stairs to go up/down from the apartment to the street, if your body doesn’t allow it then this apartment is not for you.

• Jonathan (6/5): - Great location even if it is down a long set of stairs. That place was spacious and comfortable. Only one air conditioner in the lounge which made the bedroom quite warm. The kitchen had some coffee and things but it all seemed very old and a bit gross.

• Daryna (10/5): Absolutely amazing, can’t recommend enough - Absolutely wonderful apartment, every detail has been thought of! Lots of super comfy bedding and towels, well kitted out kitchen, lovely little terrace (even with a lemon tree!!), jasmine flowers draped outside make it smell wonderful, very light and airy! Yes, there are lots of steps, but Dubrovnik is FULL of steps, not much you can do about that one! Communication was really good with the hosts, honestly couldn’t ask for anything better. Also added bonus, beach is at the bottom of the stairs! Magical

• Anna (10/5): Great place with great location! - It was amazing, the location is just perfect, apartment is very comfortable, we had everything there for a comfortable trip with kids.
• Ines (9/5): Very picturesque stay - The location is very good. 4 minutes' walk from one of the entrances to the historic quarter and 1 minute from the beach. There are several mini markets nearby and it is a very quiet area. The house is comfortable and has everything you need to spend a few days, especially in the kitchen. The only things missing are a coffee machine and a toaster. The bathroom could do with a shower gel and shampoo. The view from the bedroom is also very nice. I would definitely return! Access to the house is demanding (a staircase of approximately 3 levels) and therefore not very recommendable for people with reduced mobility or strollers. In addition, it's not always easy to find parking nearby, and we didn't go in high season (April).
• Mona (10/5): - Huge lovely apartment right next to Dubrovnik old town! Nice and clean, with an outdoor area. Nice and quiet at night, as you are in a residental area of Dubrovnik, but still only a five minute walk to old town. You need to be aware of all the stairs to get to the beach promenade/the old town. We counted about 150 steps, but there is a nice and lighted staircase, so if you don't mind your daily exercise, you'll be fine.

Really detailed instructions on how to find the place, the keys etc. apartment was a lovely size, quiet location but great access to everything we wanted from Dubrovnik. Wifi could have been stronger but wasn’t a deal breaker for us but just something I noticed.
• Lucy (8/5): Great apartment for the fit ones! - The apartment was well located and well equipped. The air conditioning was brilliant and much needed after the climb up the 141 steps to get there. It certainly kept us fit! There was no outside seating space for the 1 bed apartment which is a bit miss leading from the photos. Also don't leave anything on the dryer outside the front door as it flew away even though it was pegged down!!
• Andrei (10/5): Perfect for a group of friends - The apartment is located very close to the old town walls, apart from the many stairs you will be walking up and down. The house has a nice porch with views to the sea. Very peaceful and cozy. The house itself is very spacious, with a well equipped kitchen, a lounge with TV, all perfect for a group of friends. We bought ingredients from Lidl and cooked to save on eating out. After that, the dishwasher made it very easy for us. The parking is also very close and a big plus in a city with extremely expensive / hard to find parking spots (the next day after checking out we spent 160€ for a single day parking) The bathroom was on the smaller side, but at least it was accessible from both rooms Only 1 AC unit for a very big house, struggling to keep the cold temperature
• Anita (9/5): Cool apartment in a great location to explore Dubrovnic - The apartment was so cool, we chose it for the proximity to the beach and the old town, so my daughter and I could pop down to the sea at anytime and live like a local. The location was perfect, the apartment had everything we needed Only suggestion would be to have some kind of outdoor area. I sat on the steps most mornings with my coffee, it was a lovely touch that the owner had some outdoor cushions for this

• Peter (10/5): very close to the old town, very close to the beach. I highly recommend it - The accommodation is very close to a beautiful beach. Although you have to climb quite a few stairs, the location is still great. Communication via Whatsapp with the landlord was without problems. I rate everything very well. The accommodation facility had everything. I have no complaints, the only thing is that I couldn't turn on the TV and the European football championship was on :)
• Ayush (10/5): Exceptional - Beautiful modern apartment. Very spacious. The kitchen area was quite big and also the outdoor patio area with beautiful ocean views. Good location as well. Huge set of stairs outside but the street above is very close by. If you go down to the beach there's a lot of stairs to go down but the views make it worth it.
• Arthur (10/5): Perfect! - So happy we decided to stay here. It really was the perfect location for us. Literally a stones throw from the beach and the old town. The staff were so unbelievably helpful in getting us into the apartment when we struggled to unlock the front door (after midnight too) couldn't have been happier! Maybe a different coloured that matches the front door or a photo of the front key (Just so sleep deprived, silly and slightly embarrassing mistakes aren't made 😂)

• Atul (8/5): Cozy Apartment in good Location - The apartment was cozy, spacious, and beautifully maintained. It was very clean, and we instantly felt comfortable walking in. It offers a partial view of the sea and is surrounded by charming houses. A highlight for us was the blooming jasmines that covered the surrounding fences. Also the lemon and orange trees in peoples yard. The location is great for exploring the old town, with plenty of restaurants, cafes, and shops within walking distance. Public transportation is easily accessible. At the bottom of the steps and across the road is a small beach with a beach club/restaurant. Overall, it provided a great experience. One improvement would be the shower; the head is hard to keep steady and could use a small shelf for toiletries. Also, it leaks by the toilet, making the floor wet. Note that the apartment is accessible only by 149 steps, which may be challenging for those with mobility issues. Additionally, the air conditioning is in the entryway, which might not cool the bedroom sufficiently in very hot weather.

• Ellesse (8/5): Great location for a lovely short - Location is FAB. Literally a stonethrow away from beach. Safe and cosy away from the loud city centre but still only a 5 min walk into town. Great communication with host and property well equipped. Would stay again. Towels - only had one new set of towels for our whole week stay ! Not a problem but would maybe bring my own next time if knew this. Super clean property but clearly a issue with ants. Found a few in my bed and got bit on my legs a few times.
• Roy (10/5): Brilliant - would go back in an instance. Dubrovnik is a fantastic city for history, eating and fun. - This is a smartly designed modern apartment with tons of space for two people. It has air-conditioning and heated towel rail (bonus for quick drying of towels when you are travelling). A further notable feature is the assistance one gets from the host - Niksa was able to answer questions with prompt response and assisted with getting taxi for transfers etc. Highly appreciated. The instructions to access apartment on arrival could have been made simple with some specific WhatsApp directions and a plan to find the correct door. However, the host response was very quick and this was a minor issue. One other suggestion would be to provide a plunger coffee maker to further enhance the options for enjoying a good coffee.

• Dana (10/5): Exceptional - Great communication with the apartment manager, even arranged pick up from and to the airport. The apartment was close to Old Town and had a beautiful view from the bedroom window. Would very much recommend this apartment.
• Carleen (7/5): Beautiful Country. Amazing Stay. - The apartment was exceptional and very modern. It was clean and tidy. At the bottom of the steps we was Banji Beach which was amazing and the entrance to the old town of Dubrovnik (Polce), amazing views and close to all the amenities. Very good location. The apartment was wonderful except for the bugs, there were a lot of ants which we realised was a regular issue as there was a can of big spray in the entrance. Not sure that the rugs had been hoovered before our stay as we found dead bugs in the rugs after sweeping up. Bugs, we were also bitten a lot as there was no mesh on the windows to stop bugs flying in which meant you couldn't open the windows for fear of being bitten. If you go to Croatia take some bugs repellent for your skin.
