- Cassie (9/5): Great stay, would recommend this unique hotel and a great location. Prepare for the stairs! - Very unique property The fridge wasn’t working
- Natalia (10/5): -
- Lucy (10/5): Wonderful - The location is absolutely fantastic, being in a beautiful art museum and so central in Naples was so much fun. And the staff were brilliant, our flight was very delayed so we didn’t reach the hotel until after 1am, but they were able to accommodate for the late hour and were really kind and welcoming. We had a fantastic time!
- Ingrid (9/5): In the middle of old centet, amazing location. Also 6 minute walk to the beautiful majolica tiles in the cloister is ne - Great location Elevator would be great but the amazing frescoes and beautiful old included church make up for that inconvenience

- Jolayemi (8/5): The staff was great, the location was awesome, and the room comfortable. - The location was great. Close to bars and restaurants. instructions on how to get to the hotel should be very clear. It was a little difficult to identify at night.

- Phillip (7/5): Interesting experience to say the least. - I loved how unique this hotel was. You're literally staying in a church that happens to be a museum and church. I loved all of the artwork and how we had full access to the church at all times. It's not like any other hotel I've ever stayed at. It was a great experience and close enough to restaurants, cafes, a local market, and the city square. As unique as this hotel was, there were some drawbacks that made my stay a little challenging. There was no elevator so carrying my luggage up 5 floors was a little intense. After a long day in the humid weather, climbing up and down those stairs was exhausting. Also, there was nobody at the front desk a majority of the time which made things a little complicated. Also, you have to turn on a water heater which was difficult so I mostly had cold showers. Given it was so humid, the cold shower wasn't too bad. Also, the air conditioning wasn't the best.

Vienuolyno kompleksas be galo įspūdingas. Nesimiega? Eikite paslampinėti po senovinį kiemą. Dar nesimiega? Iš knygų lentynų pasirinkite kokį dailės albumą. Beje, ir knygų, kurios paliktos numeryje, vertė pribloškia. Intelektualumo ir estetikos kupina erdvė, pasiekusi, ko gero, aukščiausią lygmenį. Beje, čia kupina atradimų bei intrigų. Nesuprantu, kodėl šeimininkai neinformuoja, jog būtent čia yra Drakulos kapas. Baisu? Patikėkite, net prieš šiurpnaktį nėra šiurpu.
- Fiorella (10/5): Ho dormito in Museo!
- Fiona (10/5): - The hotel is within a museum, I mean whats not to like?? It was so unique. We checked in and were shown to the rooms.
Then we had time to walk around the museum. The staff were very friendly and informative.
The rooms were beautiful and spacious. One of the rooms had excellent air conditioning, the other one just wouldn't cool the room down sufficiently.
You can walk to the main areas from the hotel, with lots of places to eat a lovely breakfast.
We had a fabulous stay
- Madeleine (10/5): -
- English (4/5): - Our bathroom sink & shower both did not drain and were overflowing. The shower products were opened and half used. The shower also didn’t look cleaned. There was a wedding on the property that went late into the night with music blasting and a guy screaming into a mic, even with ear plugs we couldn’t sleep. We called the front desk just to politely ask when the wedding would be ending (not even a complaint, just asking) and they hung up on us after we asked and didn’t pick up after that. We won’t be returning/recommending.
- Tyler (10/5): - Great
- Andy (10/5): Stunning internal museum - Stunning museum within grounds of hotel. Great location walking distance to all amenities. Lovely courtyard outside of hotel for chilling out over a coffee or wine. None
- Oliver (7/5): It was good - We liked its central location and being close to public transport. No lift to go up to the rooms meaning a good couple of flights of stairs. The room was advertised with WiFi accessible across the hotel however we found this to not be the case. The shower seemed very outdated and the showerhead fell off.
- David (7/5): -
- SHIREEN (8/5): - Wonderful ambiance staying in a museum. Fantastic art all around, beautiful church, very quiet, great location.
- Calum (8/5): - Property was unique being right on the museum however no lift made it challenging for bags and a lack of plugs in the room
- Ryan (9/5): -
- Yngvil (10/5): -
- Hannah (9/5): Great! - The location of the hotel was fantastic and it was unique to be within a museum and to have free access to it. The only downside was that when the guests in the neighbouring hotel room used their bathroom we could hear their conversations.
- Shekhina (10/5): - VERY interesting place to stay, if you’re an art fan or museum this is the place for you, lots of stuff to discover in this hotel. A little complicated to find especially if you arrive late but very beautiful and clean. (Lots of stairs to climb, no elevator so beware for big luggage)
- Antonia (9/5): -
- Ashley (8/5): - The property is stunning and very unique - a ‘bed and museum’ concept which I’ve never seen before.
The bedroom was beautiful and I had the best night sleep thanks to having a room facing the internal courtyard area of the museum - I believe there are also rooms facing the front of the property where there are bars with outdoor seating and likely to be much noisier.
In the evenings (post 5pm), you let yourself in through the huge front doors and are unlikely to see any staff.
Note - there are a lot of stairs to carry luggage and therefore not likely to be suitable for people with lots of heavy luggage.
We were not provided with any information upon checkin, including any information about how to access the property after 5pm, whether we were permitted to explore the museum in the evening or any information about the area - it was a very, very basic check in and was not welcoming at all - but that would be my only critique of the stay.
Should I be in Naples again, I would stay at this property.
- Geovanni (10/5): - Absolutely beautiful
- Natasha (10/5): - Amazing hotel in a museum with beautiful courtyard. Staff was very helpful - carried our luggage up the stairs. Room was spacious and clean. Check-in was difficult to schedule with our schedule because there is not a front desk staffed all the time and entry locked.
- Natalie (9/5): Superb -
- Matthew (10/5): - Loved this unique place to stay. Was very quiet. Was able to explore the museum portion after hours. Only drawback was that there were 4 flights of stairs to climb to our room with no air conditioning. Once we got to our room though it was nice and cool. My teen loved that we got to stay where vlad the impaler might be buried.
- Nicholas (10/5): Unique stay in Naples - One of the best stays. Fantastc location.
If you are looking for something different ,this is the place to come . Its position is inside the Santa Maria La Nova museum!
Surrounded by art ,we were at the top floor (no elevator ) but it was worth it !Clean spacious room.lovely court yard view. No breakfast offered but right ouside the main door there is a lovely cafe .
Perfect for coffee or Aperol spritz!!!
- Jacob (10/5): Great stay - if you're interested in historic/old architecture, stay here! - The hotel itself - being inside a cathedral was amazing. The architecture and the view both inside the room and in the common areas was beautiful. The stairs were the only negative, but absolutely unavoidable - it's a centuries old building, so is unfortunately a necessity to get to the upper rooms.
- justine (10/5): - atmosphere unbeatable.
would stay there again in a heartbeat
- Maria G (6/5): - Our stay here was sublime. The room is great and the whole space is marvellous. There are a significant number of stairs to climb before reaching the room, but it is worth it.
The Director of Santa Maria La Nova is extremely helpful and will provide helpful information and make you feel at home.
- Joe (10/5): Exceptional - Helpful staff and a brilliant hotel!
- Dennis (10/5): - amazing 13th centuary monastery with cathedrals, art, and dracula's tomb. great location from which to explore historic city. my stay was perfect, i highly recommend it.
one caution is that there is no ljft and rooms are on 4th floor. wasnt an issue for me.
- Curt (6/5): Pleasant -
- Bruno (8/5): Very good -
- Hannah (10/5): - Great hotel with excellent service!
- max (8/5): - Sehr gut gelegene und gut eingerichtete Unterkunft in toller Lage
- Olly (10/5): - The hotel is located within a beautiful church/museum. Very central so getting around the city is super easy. Would recommend the bar just outside where we had a few drinks on a few of the nights. Staff were also very helpful.
Would highly recommend for anyone travelling to Naples!
- Dulce (9/5): Stunning rooms - Stunning property and good location for a single night stay if you want to be near the airport No elevator BUT the staff did bring up our suitcases :). Very small shower.
- Pasca (10/5): - This is one of the coolest hotels I've stayed at as it is right in the middle of the museum. The staff were really friendly and the room was always clean. The shutters made the room pitch black which we loved! The only thing I would say is the rooms are on the top floor and there is no lift, not a problem for us but may be an issue for anyone with mobility problems. It was close to two really great strips full of market stalls, shops and restaurants. Would stay here again if I was travelling to Naples.
- Dejan (9/5): Superb -
- Ryan (7/5): Good -
- justine (10/5): - we were late arriving so getting in was a struggle. otherwise the place was spectacular, our room clean and quiet. we wud def recommend anyone to stay here (unless u cant go up and down 4 flights of stairs)
- Gpc123 (8/5): Quirky stay in a Museum - Quiet, comfortable and clean. Very nice room and unusual being in a museum. A novelty! Need a degree to operate the shower, it's one of those very complicated ones. 91 stairs up to our room which to be fair they are very open about. Didn't really have any interaction with the owners so that was disappointing.
- Van (7/5): Good -
- Max (10/5): Exceptional - Great location and great rooms!
- Corinne (10/5): - High quality services in a unique location very well located but also very quiet
- Elena (6/5): Pleasant - Unique property, nestled inside a historic cathedral that also houses a contemporary religious art museum (and allegedly the tomb of Vlad III aka “Dracula”). The rooms are comfortable and tasteful.
- Brummitt (10/5): Beautiful space in a great location. - Probably the most unique place I’ve ever stayed. The museum was exceptional with art pieces carried through to the wing where our room was located so we were literally surrounded by art. Our room was really spacious and tastefully decorated. Loved the central location on a quiet piazza so it was quiet at night. Amazing food and great bars within a few blocks. Would definitely stay here again!
- Iveta (10/5): . - . .
- Thomas (10/5): Brilliant experience would recommend a visit - The decore in the rooms was really well done. It was very different to any hotel I’ve stayed in before but it worked really good place so we could get around the city aswell Nothing everything was great, fantastic team of people aswell
- Ana (8/5): Very good -
- Natasha (10/5): Excellent unique hotel - beautiful experience. - The hotel design was beautiful and unique. We were able to explore the artwork and stunning paintings. The room was comfortable and a good size. The staff were very helpful. The rooms were also spotless with lots of extras supplied The hotel was a little difficult to find as the front door was closed when we arrived. We had to wait until someone came out before we could get in.
- Arosehightower (9/5): Incredibly unique and comfortable hotel in historic center - I loved staying at this property! The location is just at the edge of the historic center so it was walking distance to all the sites and metro, but far enough for a peaceful stay. The building itself is a site to see with stunning decor, a unique history, and a seriously unique experience as a hotel.
My room was quiet and comfortable, a welcome reprieve after exploring the city, with a gorgeous view of the inner courtyard. A great cafe bar (Ba-Bar) is located directly outside the hotel for an easy breakfast or evening drink; might be little noisy for exterior rooms. The staff were very helpful and easy to communicate with via WhatsApp. I knew there were stairs in advance so it's not a mark against the hotel but it is a warning to guests with disabilities or concerns. I think it was 5-6 flights of steps so not to be underestimated. But the staircase was very beautiful and lined with great art displays.
- Monica (10/5): unforgettable experience - Staying at La Nova Bed and Museum was a truly unique and unforgettable experience. Nestled within the historic Santa Maria la Nova complex—a deconsecrated Renaissance-style church and monastery in central Naples—this boutique hotel is a dream for history and art lovers alike. The hotel itself feels like a living museum, surrounded by the art and architecture of a bygone era. Walking through the halls, you can sense centuries.
- Bence (9/5): Superb -
- Chris (10/5): Unique experience in literally the heart of historic Napoli, a unique experience - Armada in reception was excellent, courteous pleasant and professional 5 flights of stairs , not an issue if you are mobile, Armada helped with luggage
- Rasa (10/5): An unforgettable stay in a museum - This small hotel is in a museum. We woke up early and had the musuem all to ourselves. Sublime experience. Also, it's close to the oldtown and restaurants.
- Shawn (10/5): - Overall this place is great. Where else can you stay inside of a museum?? Room 5 was huge as was the bathroom. Beds were extremely cozy. A/C was comfortable. Mini bar was reasonable. The place was clean but has an old look to it. It’s an older building and they preserve its integrity. The location is central and easy to get to from the port or the train station. Lots to see on the area, bars and restaurants galore. Some things I could see other travelers not liking, but that were ok by me were. No 24 hr desk and very limited staff overall, no elevator, it’s on a street that taxis can not drive up, the shower pressure was a bit weak, the shower also did not have a light inside the stall. Despite these little things we had a blast and a great stay. The bar in the courtyard out front was also fantastic and served as our “lobby” bar so to speak.
- Pauline (8/5): Very good - Was a great experience being part of the Museum. Although we were told there would be 3 flights of stairs, we did not expect 82 steep stairs to climb!
There was also a smell in the bathroom that got worse when we used the shower! it also came into the room at night was a sewage smell! Seemed to be short staffed at this hotel.
- Aidan (8/5): Comfortable, convenient, excellent staff especially Francesca and Pasqulale who helped with early checkout and organised - No elevator to third floor
- Ivo (9/5): Museum sleep over - So cool to sleep in an actual museum It is in Naples
- Lilian (8/5): Very good - Very good location close to nice bars and restaurants, beautiful building and rooms Our room had a beautiful view into the streets/ piazza but that is why it was quite noisy in the night
- Giovanni (10/5): This is a unique magical experience of Naples! - This is a magical and unique place! Everything was just perfect and with private access to the magnificent complex of Santa Maria la Nova. It’s not just a hotel… is a unique Naples experience! Absolutely recommended! Nothing to say… no lift for now! But apparently working on it for the future.
- Stephen (10/5): Exceptional -
- Mira (6/5): Very good hotel, staff very helpful and very nice, great location but noisy as you can easily hear things from next door - Staff
Museum
Room and view Noise, walls are too thin and can hear everything from next door
Wifi was not working in the room
- Colin (9/5): Loved staying within a museum/church. The room was tastefully decorated and the location excellent - Location and staying in a museum
- Tsun-hui (10/5): Exceptional -
- David (10/5): - Wonderful place to stay.
- Huy (10/5): - Unique location, free entrance musea, but keep in mind no elavator
- Tamara (5/5): It was fine but I wouldn’t stay here again - The room was good, bathroom nice, clean and comfortable and the location was great There seemed to be no service, front desk always empty, had to climb a lot of stairs to get to the room. Felt a bit creepy and deserted.
- Luke (10/5): Brilliant! - Absolutely brilliant, I would definitely recommend.
- Mustafa (10/5): Exceptional - Nicely decorated room, great location, inside a museum. Takes few flights of stairs to get to the room. Not a big deal if you are fit.
- Matei (9/5): Superb - Very good taste for decoration and furniture, great location, a/c in room 5th floor on stairs, no elevator, becomes complicated when you have big suitcases with you
- Catherine (9/5): Great place to stay in Naples - This hotel was not what we were expecting at all—in the best way possible. Nestled right IN a grand church and monastery, the beautifully remodeled rooms combine modern amenities with a charming vintage touch. Plus, there’s plenty to explore right outside your door step- the museum and church, making it a perfect spot for sightseeing. The hotel offered daily cleaning, and our room was made up and organized even without us putting the 'clean room' tag outside the door. It wasn’t an issue for us, but it might be for those who prefer more privacy.
- Sergii (9/5): Would definitely recommend. - Very handy location (with a few nice bars just outside) and super quiet and comfortable rooms. No elevator, which wasn’t a big deal however worth keeping in mind!
- Enrico (9/5): Superb -
- Mia (10/5): Exceptional -
