• Maria Rørbæk (10/5): - Beliggenheden er genial, især fra toget. Det tager 15 min at gå til stationen. Stedet er væk fra den overfyldte turistcrowd, men stadig i gåafstand så det fx tager godt en halv time at gå til Markuspladsen og med vandbusser lige uden for døren.

• Robert (9/5): Stayed a few days before we departed on a cruise. - Great location, we took the waterbus from the airport and it stops very close to Goldmine, maybe a city block to walk with your luggage. Called the Host on What's App when we got off the waterbus and were able to leave our luggage there early before our check in time. Very helpful.

• matt744 (9/5): - Tolle Unterkunft in einer ruhigen Lage mit schöner Aussicht. Ich habe mich hier sehr wohl gefühlt. Zimmer als auch die Gemeinschaftsräume waren sehr sauber und gemütlich. Die Zimmer sind in den grünen Innenhof und daher wirklich sehr ruhig. Die Lage ist super, nahe zum Bahnhof und alles fußläufig zu erreichen.

• Christine (6/5): - I liked having an AC unit for the room and plenty of closet space. Free wifi was good and there was a kitchen available. Only slightly more to have your own room on the actual island as compared to a hostel off the island. Compared to other guest houses I stayed at this felt more like renting a room in an apartment (which it was) compared to my other guest house experiences. Wasn't a huge fan of having to coordinate meeting in person with the owner to get physical keys instead of say a key deposit box and instructions. Makes you dependent on seeing their booking.com messages, emails, and either party could run into an issue which could potential push check in for hours.

La cama está muy bien, hay un placard amplio para la ropa y las valijas, cocina bastante completa. Se encuentra a una distancia caminable desde la estación de tren, incluso con valijas (aunque hay que subir un puentecito, pues es Venecia). Cerca hay restaurantes y bares a la orilla de un canal, y una estación de bus acuático. El lavarropas. Una de las razones por la que elegí este lugar era para poder lavar ropa y resúltase que su uso es solo permitido de 14 a 17 (o algo así), es decir el horario central en que cualquier turista no está en su hospedaje. No provee jabón para la ropa ni nada, y además no hay secarropa con lo cual si decidís perder una tarde para lavar que no sea de lluvia porque sino no se seca.

• Lile (9/5): - Great location near Guglie, making it easy to use vaporettos. The shared bathroom was kept clean throughout my stay. Privacy, comfortable bed, good air conditioning, and a lovely yard. It could be cleaner, but overall it’s a good place to stay for the price.

Nice, quiet room with 2 big windows overlooking a garden. I was able to watch the ladies final of the US Open on TV. Kitchen has all the basics (bit I couldn't find a colander). Accessible on foot from Santa Lucia. The decor is a bit kitsch.

• Stephanie (8/5): Very good - It was a quiet area not swarmed with tourists. However here is also a dorm in the same property which might create some noise if full. If you're arriving via the airport bus, you would have to lug your bags across the Constitution bridge with no ramp.
• Jessika (10/5): Beautiful stay - The location was perfect. Clean and comfortable, wish we had stayed for more than one night. It’s about a 10-15 minute walk to Como S. Giovanni station. A quick walk to Como ferry and the lakefront. Only wish we could do early luggage drop, but understand why.

• Darya (7/5): Good - The location was ideal. Regarding the room, it was fine and warm. The private bathroom outside the room was ok, but you can hear your neighbors well, so that doesn’t give you the sense of privacy. But overall everything was good.

• Noora (7/5): Good - The guesthouse is a short walk from the San Lucia train station and there are two vaporetto stops close to it (Guglie and Tre Archi). Overall a good place to stay and well-furnished for a self-catered holiday. I had the room situated between 2 bathrooms, so it was a bit noisy. Also, as a light sleeper, ear plugs were a must because the soundproofing in the building is not very good and the hard surfaces amplify all noises.

The location is super nice and calm, but not so close to the center (30 min walking) The cushion was not so comfortable. The air conditioning was quite noisy and turn on by itself during the night.

• Alexander (9/5): Great value and excellent location!!! - I had a wonderful stay at this guesthouse, in a quite corner of the main Island. I stayed here for two nights in a spacious single room. The host was a friendly guy, who was waiting for me on arrival. The accommodation was clean and had enough space in the kitchen en bathroom, I only had to share with one other room. Don't expect anything luxurious, but if you are just looking for a bed and a hot shower. Then you get great value, for it's excellent location in the city center!!!

A lot of restaurants with good food and not to crowded. Apartment was very clean and bright. There is an AC in the room so you can easelly regulate the temperature. • Barbara (9/5): A very comfortable and very secure stay in Venice! - Washing machine, WiFi, air conditioning, private bedroom with bathroom shared with one other room, closet, table, chair, comfortable bed, towels, nice kitchen area, very secure, lots of places to hang wet laundry to dry overnight, several working sockets. Very kind and responsive host... he even carried my bag up two flights of stairs! As a solo female traveler, I felt safe going on runs before sunrise and very secure at this property. Close to train station. I did not know in advance, but it is better to communicate with host via WhatsApp than through Booking.com. Although he was responsive when I messaged him through the Booking.com app, he told me it is better to communicate through WhatsApp.

Outdoor restaurants, shops along the walk from Santa Lucia train station or take Vaporetto (board at "D" train station stop ) to"Guglie" 5 mins away Goldmine. (Google maps wasn't updated about under construction resulting in no "E" vaporetto stop) AC, wi-fi, TV, plenty of electrical outlets, small desk chair, closet. Entertaining and shop/store on both sides of 10-15 walk to facility. Full kitchen, even a washing machine! Supermarkets (you pick) only short 10 min walk. Friendly English-speaking host, Nothing.
